It was just said in a casual offhanded tone by Severus, but it did the work it was meant to do.
The Hall which was filled with Hogwarts students, the other guest students, officials and teachers suddenly was filled with loud roaring laughter of whole House Slytherin as well as some students of various houses. The guest students who understood English well, too laughed at the insult while the teachers of Hogwarts were having various expression on their faces.
Professor McGonagall looked angry at the words while Professor Flitwick was sporting twitching lips with Professor Sprout. Horace Slughorn meanwhile had a smile hearing those words and he had completely forgot to mask it immediately. It was not good for him to openly smile at the insult but it didn't mattered to him too.
Dumbledore had a frown on his face but the other two Headmasters were not having the same dilemma as him. Their face was full of amusement as they heard the calm but sarcastic reply.
The other aurors who were present in the Hall too cracked a smile at the insult.
"A good one." Fabian Prewett spoke up with a side whisper to his twin brother.
"Atleast he can give comebacks." Gideon said with a small smile looking at his twin brother. It was a shame though, that none of their old house mates could win as a champion.
"Shut up Prewetts. We are not here to enjoy!" Moody barked out from his seat infront of them. His eyes were glaring strictly at the Prewett twins who both nodded at his words.
Alastor kept his calm composition like usual. The Prewett twins were good wizards, but the problem with them was their care free attitude. It was only a moment before an all out war started in the wizarding world, and yet his two juniors, they were talking about their glory days in Hogwarts all the time. He sometimes cursed himself for being an auror.
"Rosier make the way for our Roast King!" Mulciber said loudly among the sniggering students of House Slytherin.
"Thank you gentlemen!" Severus said in an amused tone as he took his seat besides Rosier.
"Black's face seems as if he's going to explode out of anger!" Avery remarked loudly as his gaze went to the Gryffindor table where James Potter was trying to calm a highly irate Sirius Black.
"Leave them to their affairs." Severus said disinterestedly as he took a bacon in his plate.
The conversation changed as Rosier asked Severus more about his plans.
"So you don't have to attend classes now. Lucky sod!" Mulciber said in a slight jealous tone. Prince was free to roam or do his wish now. Whereas they all had to attend
"Well, I am thinking of attending some classes. Though I won't confirm it for now." Severus said as he munched another bacon.
He was still thinking on which classes to attend. If he could walk to his Potions Factory then he could simply continue his research on Philosophers Stone and other important potions.
He skillfully didn't gave a single thought to the fierce glares he was receiving from the Gryffindor table.

"Whoah! He sure doesn't do things in half!" Evelyn spoke in amazement as she looked at the names of the champions.
"Did he told you about this Lucius?" Eileen asked worriedly as she looked at the paper.
"No, Eileen. To put it in his own words 'it isn't worth it'." Lucius replied as he too thought about Severus.
He didn't knew why or how? However he was surely going to Hogwarts to view the tasks.
Perhaps he could use his contacts to know more about the tasks, and what they pertained.
Severus maybe a powerful wizard but he could always use a help from them.
"Well, I would love to hear his side of story." Andromeda said with an amused smile. She didn't thought that her boss was so much of an adrenaline junky.
"Are we allowed to view the tasks?" Francesca asked with an excited expression. She couldn't wait to see the tasks and have a tour of Hogwarts once again.
She was already under heavy pressure from her parents. Her father wanted to have a meeting with Severus dearly. However Severus was dodging around his letters. She was tasked to arrange a meeting between her father and Severus.
As an employee of him, it would be easy to her to get it done.
She knew that it was not going to be an easy meeting considering the past between their houses. Nonetheless she just hoped for best.

Laena looked at the Professor who was gushing loudly at the chance to have the three champions together in his classes.
The guest students were allowed to take classes with the resident teachers of Hogwarts.
It was a huge opportunity for Slughorn, who was always known to collect precious people.
"He's being overboard," Severus muttered from besides her.
"Can't he just shut up and start the class already." Laena spoke in agreement.
"You look happy today." Laena commented as she heard Slughorn enquiring the guest students.
"Do I?" Severus asked with a frown.
"Yes, it's in your posture. Normally it's neutral and impassive." Laena said softly, loud enough for only them.
Severus didn't said anything. Was it really that apparent?
He remembered his and Alice's morning encounter. His groin tightened remembering the passionate kisses and her soft breasts which he had loved pressing and feeling.
His eyes widened momentarily for a moment as he erased everything from his mind, occluding perfectly.
A moment of weakness, it was enough for him to lose composure. What just happened now could be extremely dangerous against a legilimens.
He really hated the teenage phase of his life. As much as he occluded, there was a natural part of his; which was always horny.
Thankfully his lower part was covered out of everyone's view due to the table. He didn't want the world to see his half erect tool which was tightening more.

She would miss Severus greatly, her own group which was skeptical at first about him was now totally okay with him. Though, she suspected, that it was only due to Severus helping everyone in their studies and doubts.
Severus was a walking encyclopedia. He had nearly every knowledge of the Syllabus. It astounded Laena as she herself was a topper student. Yet she didn't know half the things Severus sometimes explained.
There was a gap between them, which she was eager to shorten.
"I will attend potions and the duelling classes only. The others are not needed. Though you will only see me at the dinner and the classes only!" Severus replied jokingly as he felt a side nudge.
"What will this fair maiden do without his chivalrous Prince then!" Laena said with a mock afraid tone as her hands clutched her chest.
"Are you really a maiden?" Severus asked with an impish look.
The foot which was stamped on his own was worth the question though in Severus' opinion.

A pair of green eyes watched with slight jealousy the whole scene.
The foot stamping was not lost to her, now was the nudge he received.
Lily felt a little happy inwardly seeing Severus enjoying along with Laena freely. Even though it pained her heart to see her old friend happy even without her company.
She was worried about Severus. People had died in the Triwizard Tournament.
What happened to her old friend? The one who despised such foolhardy things; he was now acting like an adrenaline junky.
The insult to Sirius this morning had brought out the old self of his. She had never laughed so hard after their end of friendship than that moment.
She didn't knew how and when he changed so suddenly. Though for now she couldn't help but be a silent spectator like many.
