147 Meeting Crystal Pirates again
Next Morning,
Six Marine Battleships cruised the sea arranged in a compact formation; Four on each side protected the two in the middle. It's been two hours since they left the former marine base of the Science division.
Right now, they are heading to Punk Hazard where the new secret marine base has been created for the Science division by the World Government.
Considering the number of resources, manpower, and protection invested by the World Government, one can imagine how important the Science division is to them.
As they even sent some of the best world government agents for protection aside from the Marine soldiers. Blaize suspects that even Cipher pol are concealed amongst them.
Blaize was in the lead ship that's at the front while Kizaru and Sentomaru stays in the middle ship with Vegapunk, Ceasar clown, and other scientists.
Just as Blaize was standing on the front deck and enjoying the morning sunrise, he suddenly noticed a fleet of ship shadows in the distance.
Not just him, the marine soldiers on the lookout also noticed the incoming ships and alerted the entire Marines.
In no time, the fleet of shadows grew clear. There were 10 ships, all of them are equal to the size of a marine battleship. Among them, on the lead is a large ship with a jolly roger of a skull with a crystal design.
"Crystal Pirates..." Blaize's eyes turned cold with a hint of killing intent.
Not just crystal pirates, he saw other renowned pirates of the new world along with the people of Underworld. Blaize frowned as he found it surprising to see them allied with the same goal.
At that moment, Kizaru's figure flashed beside him. Staring at the ships in the distance, he spoke. "Crystal pirates...they are the worst enemy to face on the sea. It's going to be troublesome-ne!
His ability is similar to Kuzan. If he uses them, we will lose our ability to move and become immovable targets."
Blaize nodded his head as he experienced the latter's ability firsthand. But like Kizaru, there's no change in his expression as if he didn't care.
"What do you think we should do, Blaize-kun?" Kizaru asked.
"Do you even need to ask? We have no choice but to eliminate them as it's nearly impossible to outrun them." Blaize shrugged.

In the meantime, on the Crystal Pirate ship.
A pirate with a cigarette on his mouth looked at Blaize and Kizaru through the telescope and spoke, "Captain, it's that guy we encountered before. And, Admiral Kizaru is also on board. It won't be easy to abduct Vegapunk under their watch!"
"Such a formidable lineup, it's even scarier than the buster call that I have heard" A sword-wielding pirate licked his shinning blade and asked, "Captain, are we doing it?"
"Of course, we are doing it." Crystal spoke in a stern tone while he exuded an aloof aura.
He may be called a Yonko but Crystal knows his shortcomings very well and how many vie this position. It's why he partnered with Kaido in secret.
Once he completes this transaction of seizing Vegapunk and handing him over to Kaido, he was promised an arsenal of weapons and territories.
To achieve his dream of obtaining the One Piece, he will do whatever it takes even it means walking in the fire.

Blaize and Kizaru stood on the front deck gazing at the pirate ships that's speedily catching up to them while the marines on board were on high alert.
They aimed their rifles at the approaching ships and positioned the cannons such that they can fire at the moment's notice.
Just as they entered the range, Kizaru commanded. "Fire!". At the same time, the pirate ships also started shooting. The battle commenced shaking the very sea they stood.
At that moment, Blaize stepped forward and stretched his hand. A huge amount of energy gathered in his index finger forming a blue miniature sun the size of a small coin.
Just as Kizaru wondered what Blaize was doing, he saw the latter firing the thing from his hand like a laser that hit one of the pirate ships at a blinding speed.
"Boom!"
What followed after was a thunderous explosion that shocked everyone to the core, before they beheld a horrifying sight.
After the explosion, the flames of high temperature expanded to a certain extent before they compressed to a single point, vaporizing everything in the range and dispersed in the air.
The pirate ship that got hit by the attack was nowhere to be seen along with the pirates on board. But, anyone with a sane mind knows what happened to them.
"Gulp..."
The pirates on the other ship mechanically took a step back in fear. Facing this kind of monster that can obliterate them in an instant, they felt powerless and insignificant.
"Scary-ne," Kizaru commented.
On the other hand, the marines were in high spirit. They knew Blaize and his deeds, with him on their side they have nothing to fear.
'So what if the other side has a Yonko, we have Vice Admiral Blaize on our side.' With the thought in mind, they attacked fearlessly.
As for Admiral Kizaru, he was unimportant and completely forgotten!
In the meantime, Vegapunk, Caesar clown, Sentomaru, and other scientists watched the battle from the distance, guarded by world government agents.
'He's a monster like Kaido...The marines got another powerful figure on their side. It's the right decision to team with the World Government.' Caesar Clown sweated as he mused.
As for Vegapunk, his eyes shined when he saw the attack. "This attack...it's not simple. What kind of devil fruit did he eat? Why have I no knowledge of this?"
