Chapter 9

Kazuki was in front of his classroom as he returned from lunch.

His classmates had all made it back to class and were busy talking about the situation that had transpired.

"You totally ruled back there, man. If it wasn't for you, who knows how long it would've taken everyone to calm down." Kirishima said to Iida.

"Pfff... But did you see the way he did it? He was basically the exit sign with the position he was in." Kaminari said.

Mina couldn't help but laugh, "...Iida, why did you do that in the first place?"

Iida fixed his glasses, "Well, someone had to do it."

Kazuki then walked in and Iida looked toward him.

"I may have calmed the other students but it was Akiyama who already knew the full extent of the situation. I probably wouldn't have known if not for him."

The rest of the students looked at him while Bakugo clicked his teeth.

"Well, that's our Class President. That's why I voted for him-ribbit." Asui Tsuyu said.

Kazuki gave the frog girl a slight glance, 'So it was her... Well, it doesn't even matter anymore. I was already chosen as the Class President.' He then sat at his seat.

When the rest of the students were present in the class, Aizawa walked in through the door.

"Everyone settle down and let's get started on today's exercise."

All the students went back to their seats.

Aizawa then took out a flashcard with one word written on it.

"Rescue!"

"We will be going to an off-campus facility that is specialized in natural disasters. You will be supervised by three Pro heroes, me, All Might, and someone else during this exercise. All Might will be meeting us there." Aizawa said.

The students became excited.

"This is what separates the men from the boys," Kirishima said while clenching his fists.

"I could finally show off how useful my quirk is underwater." Asui Tsuyu said.

Suddenly, the metal crate boxes started revealing themselves from the side of the wall.

"You can choose to wear your Hero costume or go in your P.E. uniform," Aizawa said, causing the students to go retrieve their costumes.

Kazuki didn't pay attention to anything his teacher had said as he laid his head on his desk. He was lost in thought as he thinking about how he would approach the villains at the USJ facility.

"And someone, for god sakes wake up Akiyama!" Aizawa said loudly.

Momo poked Kazuki with her push pen.

Kazuki came to light as he raised his head to looked at her.

"What?"

"...W-We're changing into our hero costumes and going outside toward the bus." She said a little carefully. She was still awkward around him.

"Oh. I see." Kazuki then got up and went to retrieve his Hero outfit like his classmates.

'H-How can he be so calm after what our classmates are saying about us...' Momo was in her own little world.

'Wait, us... What are you thinking Momo!'

Jiro approaches her friend as she didn't see her getting up from her seat.

"Momo, aren't you going with us to the girl's locker rooms to change?' Jiro asked her friend.

"By the way, why is your face red?" Jiro was confused.

"I-It's nothing!" Momo then went to grab her Hero costume and left toward the girl's locker room to change in a hurry as she passed by Kazuki.

Jiro was still confused but still followed her friend.

"What's up with her?" Kazuki asked himself. He was referring to Momo as she ran past him for some reason.

He then shrugged his shoulders and started changing into his Hero costume.

Class 1-A was sitting on the bus as they headed to an off-campus facility for their rescue training.

Iida was disheartened as he recommended a seat layout to his Class President so everyone could be in an orderly fashion.

Kazuki ignored him and entered the bus.

Iida was a little salty but didn't pursue the matter. It was only until he entered the bus that he realized the reason for Kazuki's reaction.

"...Turns out, he is meant to be Class President," Iida said dejectedly.

Kazuki was seated in the back and didn't even care about Iida's dilemma.

But the problem was, that he was seated next to someone.

It was Momo.

Not because he wanted to but because he wanted to ask her something.

But Momo didn't know that. She was still thinking about her earlier thoughts with a faint blush on her face.

Jiro was angry about her situation. She wanted to sit with her friend but Kazuki had beat her to it. But this wasn't why she was angry. It was the fact that she was sitting next to Bakugo, the loudmouth.

Kazuki looked toward Momo, "Can I ask a favor from you?"

Although Kazuki didn't like to rely on someone else, he needed an item at the moment. So he chose to ask the person who can create anything.

Momo was looking out the window as she didn't want to show her embarrassed face.

Momo may have been mature but she was still a 15-year-old girl and she was self-conscious about many things.

"What is it?"

Even though her face couldn't be seen, Kazuki could slightly see it from the reflection of the glass window.

'What's up with this chick. It's almost like she has a crush on me or something...' Kazuki thought to himself.

Kazuki then had a sudden thought, 'It can't be...'

He then started rubbing his chin while thinking, 'I mean, I know I'm handsome and everything but that shouldn't be the reason, right?'

Kazuki was very dumb and narcissistic at the moment. Momo never had such thoughts of this.

Kazuki shook his head. He wasn't trying to be in a relationship now. He wanted to get rich first before fooling around with many women. Something he had slightly attained in his previous life. Well, not quietly...

Momo looked at him as she didn't hear any response. There was a visible small blush on her face.

"Can you make me a signal tracker with your quirk?" Kazuki didn't want to beat around the bush anymore.

Momo was confused, "Why do you need a tracker?"

"I will be doing some experiments regarding my quirk." Kazuki didn't want to explain the truth to her so he lied.

Momo nodded in understanding. She knew quirks needed lots of practicing and experimenting. She also knew Kazuki's quirk was powerful so he needed to train it so it wouldn't go out of control.

She then made a small tracker from her exposed skin and handed it over to Kazuki.

"Thanks."

Momo nodded. For some reason, she wasn't feeling awkward as she was before.

Kazuki felt a little at ease. He still had a backup plan if things didn't go his way.

'I will try to get outside and use my flames to signal for help but if I am unable to leave the building, I still have this tracker with me. Hopefully, it won't come to this last reserve since it will be very suspicious of me if I were to know what would be happening beforehand.'

As Kazuki was thinking about more plans, his classmates were comparing quirks to Pro Heroes.

"If anybody has a pro hero quirk, then it's definitely Akiyama, Todoroki, and Bakugo," Kirishima said.

"Yeah, but Bakugo's always angry so he'll never be popular." Tsuyu said.

"What the hell did you say?! I'll kick your ass!" Bakugo replied angrily.

Kazuki became distracted as he kept hearing shouting from the loudmouth being teased.

"Hey, Hey, we're here. Stop messing around." Aizawa said from the front of the bus.

"Yes, sir."

Once everyone hopped off the bus, they headed toward the dome-looking building.

Once in front of the facility, everybody could see a person that looked to be in an astronaut outfit.

"No way! It's the space hero, thirteen!" Midoriya used his fanboy knowledge.

Everyone was excited, especially Ochako.

"Thirteen is one of my favorite heroes!"

"Hello everyone, I've been waiting for you. I can't wait to show you inside." Thirteen said and guided the students into the facility.

Kazuki stopped walking as his classmates kept following Thirteen. He was trying to sense for any villains that could be lurking around. He knew they would be teleporting in but it was still better to check.

'After pushing my limits and practicing for a couple of days, I guess this how far I can go.' Kazuki thought with a little fatigue

Kazuki tried the sense the surrounding areas via his Earth Element. He figured out how to control the nearby ground so he can locate anybody that was close by, but the radius wasn't that big.

'I can only sense my classmates and the teachers. I guess they will be just teleporting in...'

Momo who noticed Kazuki had stopped, looked toward him.

"Akiyama, aren't you entering with us?" She asked confused.

Kazuki nodded as he stopped trying to sense the surroundings and followed the rest of his classmates.

As everyone entered the facility, they could see different natural disasters taking place.

"Wow, it looks like an amusement park!" Kirishima said out loud.

Thirteen then started explaining what they would be doing and were about to start their rescue training.

"Where's All Might?" Aizawa asked Thirteen before they could start.

Thirteen showed three fingers and started telling Aizawa something.

Kazuki wasn't paying any attention to his excited classmates or his two teachers. His sole attention was toward the fountain that was a small distance away from him. He already had his hood placed over his head. He didn't want his face to be seen.

After Aizawa and Thirteen finished speaking, he was about to start the rescue training. But something unexpected happened.

A purple portal appeared out of thin air near the fountain, not too far away from everyone.
