After that, he got into Orochimaru's base again. As he got back in, Karin started bombarding him with questions. Jugo also got closer and asked him "What's that sword on your back?"

"It's something I picked on a whim, it looks cool. But nevermind that sword, look at my new ring. Isn't it cool, too?" Kimimaro asked excitedly. In his past life he always liked the Akatsuki, they had very cool coats and rings.

"Y-yes" Jugo answered unsurely.

"What's that Orochimaru even doing in that laboratory any more? I'll go there and check it" Kimimaro said resolutely and started walking towards Orochimaru's laboratory.

But before he could walk into the laboratory. A taller Sasuke Uchiha with binding over his eyes and Kabuto exited and started walking towards him.

"Orochimaru?" He asked unsurely.

The 'Sasuke' hissed and jerked his long snake tongue out, he asked "What do you want now, Kimimaro?"

"Incredible, in just this short period of time you managed to change bodies. You're truly a genius" Kimimaro complimented.

"Not just that. I strengthened Sasuke's body with Senju cells. Awakening Rinnegan in the process as well. Then after stealing his body, I realized that I won't be needing to change any more bodies in the future. This vessel is just that strong" Orochimaru replied proudly.

"Nice man, I even got rid of some pests for you. They were sneaking around Otogakure so I showed them, what's up" Kimimaro replied still happy from the battle he had with them.

"Some pests...? What they looked like? Wait! That sword on your back, were they Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki?" Orochimaru asked excitedly.

"Well, one of them did have Sharingan, the other one had this sword" Kimimaro said.

"What happened to them?" Orochimaru asked agitated.

"Of course I killed them, what else could've happened" Kimimaro replied.

"Killed both Itachi and Kisame at the same time...?" Orochimaru looked shocked now.

"Of course, you don't expect that I used my full powers against you at that time?"

"Just how strong you are really..." Orochimaru said to himself.

"But either way, Itachi was my target. I wanted to get revenge on him" Orochimaru continued hissing.

"And I killed him, so what're you gonna do about it?" Kimimaro asked again tauntingly.

"Wait until I mastered my Rinnegan and you'll see" Orochimaru replied confidently.

"That's good. I'm waiting for you. But I need your help on some other thing now" he then showed his finger ring and said, "I want to join their organization!"

"Akatsuki? Okay, I'll see what I can do. Wait here in the base for news" Orochimaru replied then went ahead.

"Good day to you too Kimimaro" Kabuto said awkwardly, then left as well.

A couple of days later. At a high altitude on one of the buildings in one special village in this world. Stood a man with a spiky orange hair and a man with a spirally designed orange mask. They had the same coats.

This village was special because here it was raining 24 hours a day and the architecture style like this wasn't seen anywhere else in this world. The village was called Amegakure.

A man with an orange mask sighed and said "I still can't believe that he managed to defeat both Itachi and Kisame at the same time. How could a person that strong escape our radars?"

"I don't know. Sasori said that he wanted to join us, what do you think?" Pain replied. He was still confident about his own strength, confident that he would be able to control Kimimaro if he joined Akatsuki.

"Well, we surely need to learn more about him and his abilities. We'll let him join, but only if he completes a test. And while he is doing that test, we'll send Zetsu to spy on his abilities" 'Madara' said.

"Let's do that" Pain replied seriously.

A couple of days later at the Akatsuki holograph meeting place. Instead of the usual ten members, there were only nine this time.

Also, a new face around here could be seen. He had white hair and Akatsuki cloak. Other members looked at him curiously.

The orange-haired leader said "As many of you have heard, it's true. Itachi and Kisame died in battle"

"They were killed by Kimimaro here"

"Well, they have only themselves to blame. Who told them to try and fight me. Once you encounter me in the open, your best bet for survival is to kneel and beg for mercy immediately " Kimimaro said as a matter of fact.

"Hahahaha, I like this guy already" The man with a weird scythe Hidan said.

'Please, not another crazy guy' Kakuzu thought.

Sasori already met him so he didn't say anything. Deidara looked provoked ready to fight with him immediately if he could. Konan looked suspiciously at him 'This guy screams bad news' she thought.

The leader continued "But even though you managed to defeat two of our members and have the necessary strength to join. We still don't know if we can fully trust you. So I came up with a task for yourself. If you complete it, we will all know that you're one of us"

"As you all know, Kumogakure was the only village to decline our services. They were against us from the start. And as Sasori informed you before, our main mission is to capture all nine tailed beasts. So you have to capture one tailed beast from the Kumogakure now, this is your task. Which one, is your choice"

"That's it? That easy? Consider it done then" Kimimaro replied confidently.

They all dispersed soon. Kimimaro ready to begin his task immediately. He didn't have anything to do now and this task was super welcomed by him.
