Chapter 16

Two people were running towards a village. They had the same coats and looked focused.

"I hope this time it's really Orochimaru's base" Kisame said annoyed. They had been running around trying to find Orochimaru's base for a couple of months now. But the guy was just too secretive.

Not to mention they couldn't even start searching immediately on that day. Itachi was still injured after his fight with Danzo and he couldn't even display a proper Susanoo.

But now this is probably it. Everything else they've found so far points that this village Otogakure is the center of Orochimaru's operations and the place where he lived.

"This one probably is" Itachi replied seriously.

"Kisame you just distract him while I get closer and put him under the Tsukuyomi. I need to interrogate him" he finished.

"Okay, this time he's really finished" Kisame said. But immediately after that, they sensed something approaching them at a high speed.

Once he was close to them. Kimimaro immediately opened the fire "Bone Rifle" he said. He started firing his finger bone bullets at them. But this time at much higher speed and with much faster regeneration ability.

Kisame blocked it with his blade. Itachi activated a partial Susano already. Soon they came to an open field. Kimimaro appeared before them.

"Who are you!?" Kimimaro asked angrily.

"What's your business with Orochimaru?" Kimimaro ignored his question and asked his own one.

"That's none of your business" Itachi replied seriously.

"Then I will make you tell me" Kimimaro replied bloodthirstily. He brought his hands in the air and said "Three Bone Dragons". Soon from his back, three giant bone dragons appeared and started attacking his opponents.

Kisame immediately released his hand signs "Water Style: Four Shark Shower". Four large sharks attacked his bone dragons but immediately dispersed after the contact.

"Is this the best you can do?" Kimimaro taunted.

Realizing that his attack failed, Kisame launched his next jutsu "Water Style: Super Exploding Water Shock Wave" Suddenly a giant waterfall started appearing beneath his feet. It brought him and Itachi ten meters into the air. They were standing now on the top of it.

Kisame launched his next jutsu "Water Release: Rain Water Shark Wave" soon hundreds of little water shark started falling on Kimimaro from above.

Kimmaro extended his bone dragons range and started attacking them on top of the waterfall. While, at the same time created the bone cacoon for himself, defending him against all the little sharks.

Realizing that bone dragons were following them on the top of the waterfall. Itachi decided to enter the fight. He activated his Susano soon, covering himself and Kisame. And effectively repealing the bone dragons.

'This looks like some sort of dangerous Kekkei Genkai. Ordinary attacks would be pretty much useless against it. I need to use more Mangekyo abilities against him. It seems like I won't make it to the Orochimaru.'

"Kisame I'll take care of him. You go and deal with Orochimaru. I trust you on this one." Itachi replied. Kisame looked solemn.

Kimimaro's dragons circled and entrapped Itachi's Susanoo. But just when he wanted to break it. Itachi's Susano enlarged once again repelling them. This time destroying them with his weapon as well.

"Kisame, go!" He said after jumping down ready to deal with Kimimaro while Kisame proceeds forward.

Kimimaro smiled then clasped his hands to the ground and said "Giant Bone Skeleton" what followed that was the appearance of a large human skeleton. It was two times bigger than Itachi's current imperfect Susano.

They clashed while Kisame was trying to escape. Kimamaro was on the top of his skeleton and was clashing it with Itachi's Susanoo. Even though the size difference, they were evenly matched.

Deciding to do something next, he summoned two bone clones. One clone attacked Kisame who was trying to escape. While the other cloned said "Giant Bone Needle" this was his sharpest attack. It was the narrower version of the bone drill. But more sharp and precise.

He decided to end the Itachi through the Susanoo. His cloned attacked, and just when he was about to pierce through the Susanoo and Itachi. Itachi looked him with his Mankegyo, killing the clone.

'Yes, I forgot. Tsukuyomi can work against the clones too' Kimimaro thought.

On the other side, his other clone who was fighting against the Kisame was on the losing end. He decided to first end Kisame and communicated to his clone to use the Ash Killing Bone and quickly kill Kisame, catching him off guard.

His clone tried to do just that. But Kisame realizing that something was wrong in the last second. Summoned a giant water balloon, turned into a shark to escape and got near the Itachi again.

Itachi looked confused "What happened, Kisame?" he asked.

"His clone used some strange technique. I would've been dead If I didn't do this" Kisame replied a little scared. He showed the place where his arm was supposed to be before he voluntarily cut it off.

"Hmm, it seems that we need to join in dealing with him" Itachi replied seriously.

Kisame regenerated his arm with Samehada's help, then decided to use his strongest attack. While Itachi decided to disperse his Susanoo and move closer to his target and use genjutsu or Amaterasu to get rid of him.

"Water Style: Great Shark Bullet" Kisame yelled the attacked. His technique got rid of Kimimaro's skeleton in seconds. While Itachi effectively closed the distance.

Once he got in front of him, ready to trap him in the Tsukuyomi. His target disappeared in a second. He just managed to catch a silver flash of light before he disappeared. He looked at his own body, now beginning to dissolve into some kind of silver ash material.

He yelled "Kisame" than his clone dissolved into a bunch of crows.

Kimimaro activated his Tenseigan Charka Sage Mode as he dubbed it. Then passed the Itachi, this time directly killing Kisame for good with his gravity control ability. His gravity crushed him until nothing was left of him.

On his left side, in the forest. Suddenly a giant Susanoo appeared. The Susanoo had some weird sword and a massive shied as well.

Itachi decided to use his all and get the revenge for Kisame. Not to mention he won't be able to leave unless he defeated him.

Kimimaro looked excited. This was the best fight he had in his whole life.

"Sage Art Bone Release: True Several Thousand Hands" Kimimaro yelled. This was the most massive attack he directly copied from the Hashirama. It was a little bigger than Itachi's perfect Susanoo.

His thousands of hands suddenly pummeled onto the Itachi's Susano. Itachi maneuvered, wanting to close the distance. He can't use this mode for too long.

He used his Sword of Totsuka starting to slowly seal the whole thing. He also used his Yata Mirror to block all the incoming attacks.

Realizing that one of his strongest attacks will soon fail, Kimimaro smiled 'Thanks Itachi for such a good fight!'.

He moved at the near speed of light and appeared before Itachi. Once Itachi saw him, he used his last Amaterasu in this life on him. Hoping to kill him.

But Kimimaro just said "Death Predation".

That was his strongest attack. He dissolved his Ash Killing Bone into particles. Then with his Tenseigan gravitational ability, he controlled those particles. Using them to turn anything he desires into nothingness.

Soon he released it. Turning Itachi, along with the whole forest into nothingness. Everything around him turned into some kind of grey matter then it dissolved.

'I finally managed to go all out' he thought happily.

'This whole altercation also got me a new idea. It's time to change plans. I think I'll join Akatsuki'

He thought then continued walking back into Orochimaru's base deeply in the thought.

'I forgot to ask them what they wanted from Orochimaru...' he now remembered and sweat-dropped.
