Chapter 14

Kimimaro woke up feeling better than ever. There is something in being this strong. He felt safest than ever before. You feel like you could do almost anything you want in the world.

He decided to drop all the disguise and bring his old appearance out completely. There's nothing they could do to him now, even if they found he's a spy after all.

Then he took care of his morning routine, then left his apartment and started walking through the streets of Konoha. He even remembered some places from the original.

Remembering the places from the original, he decided to go to that famous ramen place and try it. He never tried ramen in his original world after all.

He asked some people for directions and soon got there. But before he entered he spotted someone already sitting there. 'Is this fate?' he thought. Young Naruto was already sitting there eating his favorite ramen.

To be honest, Naruto was his most hated character from the entire 'Naruto' series. Putting his annoying voice and appearance aside.

His ideals and personality annoyed him the most. This stupid village shunned him his entire life, people were beating him up and bullying him every day. And in the end, he still saved their asses.

There's nothing noble about that in his opinion. That was just plain stupid and borderline insane to him.

He really wanted to leave and spare himself from this idiot but,

'Since I already came here, let's go in' he thought and entered.

He entered and ordered the most common ramen served. While he was waiting for it, Naruto already spotted him.

He noticed his headband and asked, "Wow, are you a real ninja?" excitedly.

"Yes" Kimimaro replied seriously.

"Coool, have you gone to any missions already? Were they fun?" Naruto replied a little out of breath.

"Yes in fact I did. But let me give you one advice by the way. Since I see that you too want to be a ninja. I can tell you, that people like you, die the fastest death in the field('if they don't have any plot armor', he thought). Being shinobi is not a fun business, kid" Kimimaro said.

Naruto looked a little thoughtful then turned a little melancholic and said "You sound like my long-time rival who disappeared recently. He was also serious all the time as you"

Kimimaro didn't reply as his food came. He started eating immediately.

'Nothing special' he thought as he finished, then left the shop.

Having seen his least favorite Naruto character, he decided to pay a visit to his favorite one too. A female one, of course. He liked her personality and most importantly her appearance was his favorite in the whole show.

He soon appeared outside of a flower shop. There was a big sign saying "Yamanaka Flowers" on it.

He entered and looked around a little bit. There was no one in store. The smell of the flowers was really nice, he thought.

"I'm coming" a girlish voice suddenly said.

Ino Yamanaka was currently watching over this shop covering for her father. Ever since that incident back then, everything changed. Her father started leaving every day for some secret meetings, investigating people and stuff like that.

But the biggest blow to her was the fact that her crush Sasuke Uchiha went missing! She cried the whole week after that. Even today many months after that, she still prayed every day for him to come back.

She asked her father about him every day, but the news always remained the same. She slowly began losing all hope.

She soon entered the shop from the inside room and looked surprised at what she saw.

Inside the shop stood a good-looking older boy. He was looking through the flowers, smelling some of them.

He had nice long white hair tied at the back of his head with some bangs falling over his forehead and a pair of beautiful emerald colored eyes. She also noticed the Konoha headband he was wearing. She looked dazed while looking at him.

Soon he looked at her gently and asked: "Are you working here young lady?"

She replied "Y-yes" a little stutteringly.

"I just wanted to look around a bit. But didn't expect to find a flower this pretty here" he smiled.

"What do you mean?" she replied a little confusedly.

"Well, when I saw you I immediately thought that you're the prettiest flower in this shop. A flower of all flowers"

She blushed hard after hearing that. After a couple of seconds, when she calmed down a little, she asked: "You really think that I'm p-pretty?" she asked still flushed red from all the embarrassment.

"Of course. In fact, I think you're the prettiest girl I've ever seen in this village" he replied looking a little thoughtful with a hand on his chin.

"Y-you are not lying?" she asked again shyly.

"Of course, I never lie" he answered looking her straight into the eyes.

She looked at his green emerald eyes and something clicked inside her heart.

"O-okay" she replied after some time, unsure of what to say.

He then came closer to her, now standing right in front of her. His hand touching her red face, removing the part of her hair that was covering it.

"I'm really curious, how this flower will develop. When the time comes, I hope that I will be able to claim it all for myself" he replied, smiling gently. Then he rubbed her hair a little and started leaving the shop.

Near the exit of the shop, he said: "My name is Kimimaro, please remember it well. I will come back for you one day"

Then he left. She remained stoned in that place for some time, wondering if this was all a dream. But noticing the white necklace that now appeared on her neck. She realized that this was absolutely not a dream.
