Death: Are you ready?

{* AUTHOR NOTE: I have seen your suggestions and I'm working out how to make this harem work, though this won't be seen soon, romance will start a bit later in the story. Thanks for commenting.

P.S. One reader suggested that just like basic spells, I use basic hexes and charms which I pretty much agree with and will implement later, and also pointed out I use some sentences too much which I didn't really realize, thanks for pointing that out my man.

P.P.S Do you guys want to know who will join the harem? I didn't say it in this chapter because I don't want to spoil you guys, but if the majority wants to know who am I to deny your lovely requests ;)*}

Opening his eyes, Aaron found himself in an unfamiliar place. As he surveyed his surroundings, he realized he was in a desolate, dream-like world. This place was surrounded by black flames that reached high into the sky, which seemed to burn with the same eerie fire. The ground was an unnatural shade of yellow, and he could see humans with various expressions floating around. Some of them held despair and some extreme wrath, but he noticed something strange – he couldn't feel anything from the flames, no heat, no pain. Where am I? Am I dreaming? But this feels different from the usual dreams. Damn, this place is fucking ridiculous! He thought to himself. Deciding he might as well explore instead of standing still and doing nothing, Aaron attempted to move, only to find that he was unable to budge an inch. The only thing he could move was his head.

Feeling frustrated and helpless, Aaron's mind raced as he tried to make sense of his situation. The haunting black flames suddenly began to part, revealing a path. Aaron's eyes followed the path, and he found himself staring at a set of stairs completely black and coated with a purple hue. Looking further up, he saw a gigantic, humanoid figure sitting on a throne. The entity's face was hidden by a cloak, and it was surrounded by the floating humans he had seen earlier. However, these humans had no facial features, no eyes, mouth, or nose. They simply floated around the mysterious figure in eerie silence.

As Aaron tried to comprehend his surroundings, he suddenly heard a shuffling noise. Snapping back to reality, he looked up again to find the cloaked figure had moved, and their gazes met. Aaron finally saw the entity's face, which was incredibly pale. But what truly captivated him were the purple eyes that stared back at him, instilling a primal fear within his very being. His breathing became ragged, and he began to shiver uncontrollably. Just when he thought he might pass out from sheer terror, the entity on the throne averted its gaze.

Aaron felt a massive weight lift from his shoulders and let out a sigh of relief. Jesus! I thought I was about to fucking die! Life never gives me a goddamn break, it feels like it's out there to get me! Ha ha ha, life trying to fuck you over truly a lovely experience! He thought self-deprecatingly. As he tried to calm himself down, the shuffling sound echoed again.

Against his better judgment, Aaron looked back at the entity on the throne. The figure was raising its hand and pointing towards the sky. The black flames that filled the sky vanished, and in their place, the sky was painted red with cracks running through it. The dream world shook violently, and the cracks grew larger and larger. It was as if something was trying to break through, and as the cracks continued to spread, they eventually reached their breaking point.

With the sound of shattering glass, the entity trying to break

through finally revealed itself. Before Aaron could take a closer look, the world shook again, this time even more violently. He struggled to make sense of his surroundings, with the only thing he could see clearly being the entity on the throne. The cloaked figure seemed to be moving its mouth, and Aaron strained to hear what it was saying.

"Are you ready?" That was the only thing he heard before everything went black.

Gasp! Aaron sprang up from his bed, breathing heavily.

"What the fuck...! Okay, calm down Aaron, calm down. It was just a nightmare, nothing to worry about," he tried to convince himself. However, no matter how much he tried to brush it off as just a bad dream, the ominous premonition that lingered in his mind refused to dissipate.

Determined to get stronger, Aaron dedicated himself to his magical training, hoping to find a way to cope with the sense of impending doom that haunted him. As the days passed, he grew stronger and stronger, his magical abilities improving significantly. The day of the troll incident approached, and Aaron was fully prepared to take action and acquire the bloodline he sought.

--1 week later--

Sitting at the dinner table, Aaron finished the last bite of his meal. Afterward, he stood up and walked over to the Gryffindor table.

"Harry! Do you know where Hermoine is? I haven't seen her all day, and she didn't show up for dinner either," Aaron asked.

"U-uhh, s-she is..." Harry replied awkwardly, glancing at Ron.

"What's wrong? Can't you tell me where she is?" Aaron asked again. But before Harry could answer, Parvati chimed in.

"This red-haired guy said something inappropriate behind her back, but Hermoine heard everything and stormed away. When I last saw her, she was in the female bathroom, refusing to come out."

"Thank you!" Aaron said as he turned to leave.

"W-where are you going?" Harry asked.

"I'm going to look for her! She's missing dinner, so I'll haul her back, and as her friend, I can't leave her alone like that." Turning his back to Harry, Aaron left the auditorium.

Once the door closed behind him, a small smile spread across Aaron's face. He paused for a moment, his eyes burning with determination.

"Hehe, here I come. Prepare yourself because I will definitely get that bloodline," he whispered, setting off towards the troll's location. As Aaron took the first steps on his path to the top, he couldn't shake the foreboding feeling that his strange dream world encounter had only been the beginning of a much greater journey.
