12 The second day of school

The next day came and this time I took a break from cultivation and decided to quickly do all the school work I would get for this year and then hand it in so I could ask for leave so that anything I needed to do could be done without the school interfering.

I headed to school and was greeted by Jiang Tangqiu "Hey I heard you had a wild night yesterday, make sure to invite me next time!"

"Ok, ok, I will now let's go to homeroom before we're late." I replied as we headed to the homeroom.

"Hi Feilong. Jiang Tangqiu." Chang Wen greeted.

"Hi Chang Wen, how are you doing?" I replied.

"I'm fine but I see you've made your friend group already besides Jiang Tangqiu." She said.

"What do you mean Jiang Tangqiu is part of the friend group." I answered back.

As homeroom passed I took Jiang Tangqiu with me as we headed to the gym.

"Hey, Yang Chao got room for two more?" I shout across the field.

"Uh, yea no problem just sit down with Xu Rongfei and Jiang Churan." He replied a bit awkwardly as he saw Jiang Tangqiu.

"Hey, how are you guys?" I asked.

"Hangover!" Jiang Churan replied.

"haha~ I'm not surprised with the amount you drunk." I said.

"You can't say anything considering you never drunk anything!" She said with a slightly angry tone.

"Now now don't get mad at me because you can't handle alcohol!" I replied.

"Well, we will see once you turn 18 how well you can handle it." She replied with a smirk.

"Feilong, haven't you got classes soon?" Xu Rongfei said.

"Yea, but I handed in the work via email so I'm free." I replied.

"What but I heard you had English and the English teacher is the strictest teacher we have!" She replied in disbelief.

"I guess sending an email all in English along with my work being an essay on the many themes of Macbeth also written in English helped me." I was quick to reply with.

"How good is your English then?!" Interrupted Jiang Tangqiu.

"I'm basically fluent." I replied with a cheeky smile.

'As we continued to talk Jiang Tangqiu become more comfortable with them as well as when we began to play basketball it helped then he and Yang Chao were on the same team. And after a long game had finished we were joined by Mengmeng and Si Yingxia who disliked me a little because of how close I was getting with Xu Rongfei in just the first two days we met and it didn't help my case with Li Yichen either as Jiang Tangqiu was getting friendly with Jiang Churan along with Jiang Tangqiu being the only known friend of Chen Fan in the school.'

"Ok well I got to go now because I got some business to take care of but you guys enjoy your time and I will meet you all on Monday." I say as I begin to head off.

"Wait!" Xu Rongfei shouted.

"Yes?" I replied as I turned my head.

"On Sunday I'm having a birthday party can you come?" She asked.

"Yea no problem, ill be there." I reply before setting off.

'The reason I left was because first of all, I knew she would tell me about her birthday today and needed to buy her a present in which I will call Zhang Wei and talk to him. The second reason was that today Chen Fan will cause some trouble and I predict a call from Wei Bo to also inspect the piece of magic equipment.'

"Speak of the Devil." I say as I see my phone vibrate because of a call under the ID of 'Wei Bo'.

"Hello?" I answer.

"Hi, is your master free?" Wei Bo asked.

"No, for what reason?" I ask.

"There is a piece of magic equipment coming today and I would like your master to evaluate it." He replied.

"Have you invited anyone else?" I ask.

"Yes, Chen Fan and I believe my son invited someone else along with the opposition invited their own master to inspect it." He replied.

"Oh ok that's fine, I can come in my masters stead as I have a lot of knowledge on magic equipment and can forge my own." Was my response.

"Perfect here's the address and time...."

As our call ends I make a new call to Zhang Wei who answers with "Yes?"

"I would like to purchase a piece for a woman's birthday any suggestions?" I ask.

"Of course but is it a friend or a lover?" I asked curiously.

"mmm, let's say a lover." I reply.

'I know if I said friend it would be not something as grand as for a lover and would not be a piece that wins any favour with her father who I know will attend her birthday this time."

"In that case how about a top-quality jade neckless?" He replies.

"Great if it's top quality then that will do sent it to my address." I said

"No problem, also tell your master a few influential families are starting to take interest in these pills." He said.

"That's fine even if they get them they won't be able to make them without the technique of our sect anyway."

"Oh, that's great but there is someone who wishes to meet your master?" He replied.

"What family?" I reply.

"It's the military." He replied.

"Oh, that's fine tell them that they can speak with me regarding any concerns they have soon" I respond.

"Ok, no problem, talk soon." He replied as he ended the call.

'He's quite capable I must say. But the military wants to talk to my master probably for the position of instructor that should be Chen Fan's but I will just stay as Feilong for now and say my master does not wish to be an instructor so Chen Fan can grow his influence in the martial community.'

I make my way back home where I begin to cultivate and create more pills to send some off to Wei Zhang along with to give a few to Xu Rongfei's parent and a dozen for my own cultivation with a few more for Chen Fan as a gift once I see him at the birthday.
