65 Chapter 65

Yang Chen and Seventeen appeared in front of an Old Tea Parlor.

Seventeen still had a shocked face as she heard that Yang Chen has a wife already. She never would've expected him to suddenly get married. She then shook her head as the surroundings around her had changed.

"Follow." Yang Chen said and started walking inside the old building, toward the stairs, with Seventeen trailing right behind him.

Inside the Tea room, a table near the balcony, there was a little girl that looked to be three to four years of age. This was the same little girl, Ruoxi had seen that day at the orphanage. But her hair wasn't styled in twin tails anymore. It was left flowing over her back as she had a blue floral dress on.

This little girl was eating a shortcake as she had some frosting on her cheek. Right next to her was the same elegant woman that had seemed to be her caretaker. She was busy wiping the frosting off her face with a napkin.

"LanLan, a lady is supposed to act proper." The elegant woman lightly reprimanded her.

That little girl that was named LanLan, puffed her chubby cheeks and ignored her while continuing eating the cake.

The caretaker sighed tiredly and turned her head to the third person that was sitting with them, "Sir, please say something to LanLan."

This person was an elegant, good-looking middle-aged man, dressed in a striped polo shirt and a fedora hat. He turned toward LanLan and released a warm smile.

"LanLan, you should start behaving soon. We will be staying in Zhonghai for a while so you can meet your dad."

Lanlan stopped eating and stared at him with bubbly eyes, "Then what about mummy?"

The man halted his words and sighed deeply, "Lanlan, as I said before, your mother is not here anymore. She has gone somewhere far away and cannot return."

Lanlan pouted and said in a displeased manner, "But what about the big sis I saw before! She looks like mummy!"

"That person is not your moth-" He couldn't finish his sentence as he sensed two people outside the Tea Parlor.

The man went wide-eyed as the two persons he sensed had just appeared out of nowhere. His face became serious before looked toward the caretaker.

"Minjuan, we are leaving. Stay close to Lanlan."

Minjuan became a little surprised and nervous but she still nodded. She then cleaned up Lanlan's face and grabbed her hand.

Lanlan became even more displeased, "Minjuan, I still want to eat!"

The man turned to the little girl, "Lanlan, I will buy you more shortcakes later. Just stay behind me with Minjuan."

Lanlan pouted but didn't refuse.

The man then looked toward the door that leads to the stairs, 'One Soul Formation cultivator and other looks to be a regular person. But how did they suddenly appear out of nowhere and breakthrough my defenses? They must be using a treasure to hide their cultivation base...'

More questions kept popping up but he decided to think about that later. He needed to understand the situation first.

A couple of seconds went by before the sound of footsteps could be heard in the direction of the stairs.

The door opened. Yang Chen and Seventeen walked in and she immediately started surveying the room until her eyes landed on the little girl that was behind the middle-aged man's leg.

The man became shocked. How could he not know who this young man was? He was his disciple. He then looked toward the beautiful woman and was slightly confused at who this person was. He decided to worry about it later and was going to play dumb to exit the place until he heard Lanlan.

"Big Sis?!" Lanlan said with pleasant surprise as she poked her head out.

Seventeen could barely hold back her tears at hearing her daughter's words. She didn't know how it was possible that her daughter that was supposed to be at most two years old, looked like a 3-4-year-old girl but her instincts told her that it was her.

Seventeen started walking toward Lanlan until the view of her was cut off by the man.

Seventeen looked at him and said coldly, "Move."

Even though the man was experienced with deadly battles before, he still felt a slight chill at hearing her cold words. But this wasn't enough to make him move so he stood his ground.

"Ma'am, I'm sorry about the unwelcoming gesture but I and my granddaughter must head home. We are quite busy so if you may excuse me..."

Seventeen didn't move an inch and kept looking coldly toward him.

"If you don't move, I'll slice your neck in half."

Seventeen was about to do what she had said but Lanlan had quickly intervened.

"Grandpa, it's okay! It's just big sis." Lanlan said as she was trying to push his leg so he could move but it was all for naught.

The man felt at a loss. He didn't know what to do. He then suddenly felt a hand grasp his shoulder and noticed it was Yang Chen.

The man widened his eyes, 'I didn't even sense him this time...'

Yang Chen had a bored expression, "Tianxing, just move already."

There was silence. After a couple of seconds, the man named Song Tianxing released a soft chuckle.

"I don't know how you found me but I'm impressed. You seem to have gotten a bit stronger after I had left." Song Tianxing said as he took off his fedora hat and nodded amiably.

Yang Chen could care less about his praise. He then released his shoulder and went to go stand at the side.

Song Tianxing felt something was different with this boy but he didn't press the matter. A lot of years had passed since they last met so something may have changed him. He then went to go stand beside Yang Chen.

Seventeen could now see her own daughter without anyone getting in the way.

Lanlan became a little curious as to why Seventeen was quiet so she went to grip her skirt which had a slight tear in it.

"What's wrong, big sis?" Lanlan asked as she looked up toward her with bright eyes.

Seventeen couldn't hold herself back and she instantly hugged her child tightly while sobbing silently.

Lanlan was confused until she heard "Daughter" come out of Seventeen as she was sobbing.

Lanlan widened her cute little eyes. Suddenly they started becoming red and she hugged Seventeen as she starting crying.

"Mama!"

Song Tianxing and Minjuan became absolutely shocked. He then turned to Yang Chen and asked.

"I-Is she really her mother?"

Yang Chen found this mother-daughter touching scene strange at least for him. Especially considering this still Ruoxi's body and words. He then turned to Song Tianxing and nodded.

"She is."

"But how is that possible? I saw her mother die in front of me as she handed Lanlan to me." Song Tianxing asked.

"Hmm, who knows?" Yang Chen answered casually. He wasn't about to start and explain everything to him.

Song Tianxing felt something was off but he decided to trust his disciple for now. He then turned his gaze back to Lanlan

"We have been getting chased by someone recently. It seems this person is after Lanlan. I'm not strong enough to beat her so I was planning to look for you and have her stay with you. I will then make that person think that Lanlan is still with me and will get as far as I can."

"You don't need to worry about that anymore. This person will get what's coming to them soon." Yang Chen said as he looked toward Seventeen's happy face and smiled. He just liked seeing Ruoxi's happy smile even if it wasn't entirely her right now.

Song Tianxing caught a glimpse of Yang Chen's eyes that even made him, a person who had reached Tribulation, shudder as he was talking about the enemy.

Yang Chen looked toward him, "By the way, as thanks for taking care of my daughter, I'll let you in on some news. That woman, Abbess Yun Miao. Her husband had recently disappeared or died, I don't know, so you should go and see her."

Song Tianxing froze. His face became slightly pale.

"S-So Lin Zhiguo is dead, huh."

After a couple of seconds, he regained his composure.

"Fine, I'll go see her."

Yang Chen shrugged his shoulders. He could hardly care less. He was just reminding the old man.

Seventeen had now broken the hug with her daughter but didn't dare separate from her. She was afraid she would lose her for good this time.

Seventeen started caressing Lanlan's cheek, making her giggle and sniffle.

Seventeen then carried Lanlan in her arms and started walking toward the exit.

Yang Chen frowned, "Where are you going?"

Seventeen turned toward him and said coldly, "Somewhere as far away from you and your enemies."

Yang Chen quickly blocked their path, "You don't get to make that decision. Did you forget about your circumstances?"

Yang Chen was in no way allowing Seventeen to take possession over Ruoxi's body so he won't let her leave.

Seventeen bit her lip but she wasn't about to separate from her daughter. Not now, not ever.

Lanlan became confused until she noticed her mother's behavior.

"Don't make mama sad!" Lanlan shouted.

Yang Chen ignored her and kept looking at Seventeen.

"Lanlan, he is your dad. The one I was talking to you about." Song Tianxing said from the side.

Lanlan became surprised and started inspecting Yang Chen to find if what her grandpa said was true.

Seventeen became happy at her daughter's cute protection. She then made a decision.

"Fine. I'll go with you but you better not bring any chaos toward my daughter or I'll cut off your thing and I'll leave with my daughter for good." Seventeen said coldly.

Yang Chen smirked, "Like if you could." He then turned toward Song Tianxing.

"We're leaving now."

Song Tianxing nodded before he suddenly remembered something.

"Oh! You should take Minjuan with you. She has been taking care of Lanlan and she knows how to handle her."

Minjuan, who was quiet in the back, finally made herself known. She then smiled gratefully toward her boss but she ultimately shook her head.

"No, it's okay. I'll just give the note about Lanlan's appetite and sleeping schedule." Minjuan said as she took out a paper from her bag and handed it over to Seventeen.

Seventeen released a slight smile and took the note.

Yang Chen made a check appear in his hand that wrote ten million dollars on it and handed it to Minjuan.

Minjuan became shocked and was about to refuse but Yang Chen stopped her.

"This is the least I could so start a new life somewhere and enjoy it." Yang Chen said with a slight smile and place the check In her hand.

Minjuan started releasing tears and she bowed her head.

"Thank you!"

Yang Chen nodded and held out his hand toward Seventeen.

"Let's go."

Seventeen took his hand while still looking at her daughter with a smile.

Yang Chen then teleported with them back to Kyoto.

(AN: Is Ruoxi considered a milf now? Well, doesn't matter anyway...MILF FTW!)
