Unholy Dark Art

Li Jing could be seen standing in the middle of a large cave. In front of him was lying the headless corpse of the king of the Four-eyed Jade Monkeys.

'Too bad that I had to kill it… Anyway, I must find its treasure now.' He thought.

He stored the beast's body inside his blood ring and walked towards the room on his left. Inside the room, Li Jing saw five large wooden chests badly crafted and approached them.

Each of these chests was filled with dozens of golden pears, they were obviously the Soul Enhancing Pears!

Seeing all these pears, Li Jing smiled and activated a Protection Stone Barrier. He decided to eat all of them right now.

He took a Soul Enhancing Pear and bit a piece. He was surprised that it tasted the same as a normal pear on Earth, he expected a more mystical taste from such a rare treasure.

Once he finished eating the entire pear, he waited for a few seconds, but nothing happened and he didn't feel different compared to before.

'Maybe eating only one pear is not enough?' He wondered.

Li Jing started eating the pears one after the other…

Each time he ate a pear he could feel that something small changed in him. He couldn't tell precisely what it was but the Soul Enhancing Pears were definitely effective on him.

He devoured all of them in only a few hours. In total, he ate two hundred and thirty-four Soul Enhancing Pears.

Li Jing closed his eyes and noticed that his comprehension truly increased by a lot. He could now think of many ways to improve and correct the flaws of his two Martial techniques Instant Flash Step and Hammer Fist. He could even think of some Martial techniques he could create himself based on his knowledge of the web novel and the different mangas he has read!

'These Soul Enhancing Pears are really amazing.' He thought.

But for now, Li Jing wanted to learn his Unholy Dark Art and his three Dark Qi Martial techniques. He has already completed all his objectives and still had two days before having to go home.

Li Jing sat cross-legged on the ground, took out the Unholy Dark Art Cultivation method, and started reading it.

According to the method, the first step to cultivate Dark Qi was to make a spiritual connection with the Underworld. Then one had to feel the Dark Qi that emanated from this place in order to absorb it.

The problem was that all these places were thousands of miles away from Li Jing's current position…

Fortunately, thanks to the Soul Enhancing Pears that increased his Soul Power, Li Jing's comprehension capacity was now far above that of a genius!

In his mind, he could see a hellish place filled with demon-like creatures torturing myriad of souls. All around him, he could hear the screams of agony of these souls, and, looking up high in the sky, he could see a large ominous black sun menacing to devour this desolate place.

This place was the Underworld.

Cultivating Dark Qi wasn't without risk. If Li Jing lost his concentration while absorbing the Dark Qi of this place, he could easily lose his mind or damage his soul. So, he had to be extremely careful...

A few hours later, Li Jing cut his connection to the Underworld and opened his eyes in the real world.

As he opened his eyes, three screens immediately appeared before them.
