14 This Guy Is Hungry

Qiao Mo held the rabbit in her arms and sized it up. She realized that not only on its ears but there was also a patch of red fur in the middle of its forehead, like a flower petal pattern.

"It's so pretty." Qiao Mo stroked the rabbit's soft fur. She had never seen such a beautiful rabbit before. Before she came to the beastmen continent, Qiao Mo had especially liked rabbits and had reared one herself. Unfortunately, they were separated after she left home for university.

Lily said, "What a beautiful little rabbit. It can't be a rabbit beastman from the rabbit race, could it?"

Qiao Mo was confused. There was a rabbit race?

She raised the rabbit high and examined it carefully. She realized that although the rabbit's eyes were bright, it did not look like an intelligent life form.

Lily then shook her head. "I don't think it is. The rabbit race's whereabouts are mysterious and they won't come out easily. They all live in their own burrows which have many exits that make it convenient for them to escape. In the past, the lion race fought against the rabbit race once and suffered quite a bit. How could one of them possibly let us catch them so easily?"

"Although those from the rabbit race are all good-looking, I heard that they are all lustful by nature. You have to be careful if you meet them," Lily said with a look of disdain.

Qiao Mo held the rabbit in her arms and whispered, "Shall we go back? It'd be bad if we're discovered by someone from the lion race."

As the two of them spoke, they planned on running back. However, when Lily got up, she dropped the fruit basket she was holding. She let out a surprised cry and chased a little after it down the hill. But by the time she caught the fruit basket, she had already alarmed the patrolling guards below.

Lily instantly transformed into her wolf form. As she passed by Qiao Mo with the fruit basket in her mouth, she said, "Get on!"

Qiao Mo climbed onto Lily's back. Lily ran as fast as she could. Something was obviously chasing them from behind.

They ran all the way to a small stream. Lily did not slow down and wanted to cross the stream, but her feet were tripped by a pebble in the stream and she fell into the water with Qiao Mo.

The surrounding grass moved, and then several lions with brown mane emerged from the grass and surrounded the two of them.

The few lions transformed into human forms. They were all handsome and had an impressive aura. All of them were naked and Qiao Mo quickly closed her eyes.

In a large cave belonging to the lion tribe.

Qiao Mo and Lily had been thrown into the cave for quite a while, surrounded by guards from the lion tribe. Lily was in a great panic. She tried to explain herself on the way here but didn't get any reply.

Qiao Mo was nervous too, but she pretended to be calm. She wondered if she and Lily would be given out to the males as captives too.

Not long after, a man walked into the cave. His long, purple-black fluffy hair draped down behind his back.

The man had a tanned and handsome face, his sharp eyes seemed as if black eyeliner had been used to draw around them, exuding an imposing aura.

He was tall and sturdy, wearing a cape with black prints over his back. His long, muscular legs stood out from under the animal skin skirt. Like Harry, a large part of his big fellow was hanging down, it was a scene of two long and one short rods from below his waist.

Qiao Mo tried her best to turn her face away and not look at him. These beastmen really didn't have any moral integrity, as if revealing that thing was a very impressive thing to do.

But he was indeed very handsome.

"What's going on? Where did these two females come from?" Charlie received news from his subordinates that two female beastmen had been behaving sneakily near the fruit trees.

"Tribal Head Charlie," One of the team leaders bowed respectfully. "These two females were behaving sneakily around the orchard just now. They escaped when we found them. They're very suspicious."

The handsome male, Charlie, frowned.

Lily said, "Tribal Head Charlie, we're from the wolf tribe in the east. I'm just taking my good friend out for a walk and accidentally entered your territory. Please let us go back!"

A snort escaped Charlie's nostrils. "All females and food that enters the lion tribe's territory belong to us." That was the lion tribe's rule.

Qiao Mo's heart sank.

Lily was so anxious that she was about to cry. "We're willing to give food in exchange. She's the future tribal head's female! You definitely don't wish to start a war because of us. I can go back and report this."

All the lions turned to look at Qiao Mo.

Lions' gazes were authoritative and cold. This was the first time in her life that Qiao Mo was being scrutinized by so many authoritative eyes. She pretended to be calm and nodded, even though she didn't think it was a good thing for Lily to introduce her status like that.

But at the very least, it would more or less instill some wariness in them.

Charlie's gaze sized up Qiao Mo, and he frowned his beautiful brows. He thought to himself that the female of the wolf tribe's future tribal head was actually so ugly?

Food was precious in winter, and it would be a good thing if they could exchange this female for food.

Charlie agreed to let Lily go back to report this.

Lily gave Qiao Mo a few words of advice before she turned into a wolf and quickly disappeared.

Charlie looked at Qiao Mo, whose hair was wet and sticking to her face. He ordered someone to hand her a piece of animal skin.

"Thank you," Qiao Mo took the animal skin and wiped the water from her face and hair. She was drenched after having fallen into the stream.

But after she wiped her face, the black ash that Harry had smeared on her face was wiped away, revealing a fair and clean little face.

When Qiao Mo handed the animal skin to the beastman soldier, the latter stared blankly at Qiao Mo with his large, bell-like eyes wide open. A trickle of saliva even flowed out from the corners of his mouth.

Qiao Mo was so scared that she took a step back. She thought to herself that this was bad! This guy looked like he was hungry!
