Attack

Qiao Mo was woken up by the sound of a horn and commotion. When she woke up, she realized that Harry wasn't in the room.

There were faint sounds of fighting and screaming coming from outside, accompanied by angry roars.

Qiao Mo couldn't care less and rushed out of the room barefooted. What entered her eyes were beastmen fighting with stone tools, women fleeing helplessly, and braziers scattered all over the ground.

Smoke and fire from war.

This was the first time Qiao Mo had seen such a scene and she stood rooted to the ground in shock.

What was going on?

Why was there a war?

She suddenly recalled what Lily had said. The wars between the beastmen had never stopped. Larger tribes would unreasonably annex other tribes, and females would be redistributed in such wars…
