Their body language was very intimate, as if being an old married couple, completely comfortable in each other's skin.
This beautiful scene is what father Ming saw as he walked in, shock evident on his face but soon calming down.
'whatever my daughter chooses to do, I will except it, it is her life, and this man seems good for her'
he thought, calmly evaluating the situation in his head.
He came up to the bed, looking at the puppy in her lap, a small minuscule grin was not apparent, you needed a microscope to see it, but it didn't escape Ming Lan's eyes.
Still gently playing with his soft, luscious hair, "not going to ask" the attempt to hide the warmth in her voice was futile, looking at the man in her lap.
"no, whatever you choose, I will except it but one question…do you love him?"

She had not originally anticipated this question; she was completely dumbfounded by this situation. She had not actually thought about this question at all, she just wanted to go wit the flow and let time tell what was true to come.
" I-I-I don't know"
Looking obviously disappointed at the answer he had gotten; he reluctantly nodded his head.
"he's a good kid, don't hurt him"
"I know, I don't just like anybody"
Her smugness was second nature, he just sighed, 'kids these days'.
Exiting her room, with these lingering thoughts.
'Do I love him?' she questioned.
Warmth filling her heart, thinking about a life with him in it, till her last breath. This unconsciously made her cry with happiness.
'I think I do love him, even if it's been a short time'.
"I love him" she said out-loud without realising.
She didn't expect a response back,
"love you too" he mumbled still deep in sleep,
"y-y-you're awake".
No response.
Without realising, she was holding her breath, letting out such a large gasp of relief, she started staring at his devilishly, handsome face.
"I should hurry up and claim you as mine, there are too many bees and butterfly's in this world"

Picking up a teacup, father fan threw it at the stupid woman, sitting opposite him.

Looking at the dead silent woman, he momentarily calmed down, this was his daughter, he couldn't hate her completely.
"look dear, I don't know what to say to you, but let's pray rumours aren't spread too far", tiredly leaving the disgraceful woman alone.
'that bitch, this is all her fault if she didn't exist then no one of this would have happened, I must get back at her'
The scheming woman began concocting poisonous recipes to ruin lives.
Leaving the Fan residence, she left to go to the crown princes manor.
Greeting the crown prince, she sat down, with her eyes twitching with tears, looking pitiful and very wronged.
"what is wrong my dear? Who hurt you? Tell me, I will deal with them, how dare they try to hurt the Crown prince's woman"
"i-its that woman, Ming Lan, she-she bullied me" her eyes rimming dark red, when looking at them you would think they were full of sadness. However, were darkly tinging with hate. If the crown prince saw this, he wouldn't want to be with such a scheming woman, but he didn't notice this. His eyes were masked with deep infatuation and obsession.
"That bitch, don't worry, I, Jie Long, the prince of this nation will get back at this, ungrateful woman".

Waking up, not willing to pick his head up of her lap, after hearing those words, you could imagine he was joyfully swimming on cloud
nine.
After wiggling his head, he could feel her tense up. His eyes began darkening, his face morphing a devilishly amused expression.
Looking up from her lap, he could see her perched up on her elbow, helplessly in sleep, the book she
was previously reading was discarded on the floor.
Gently touching lips in a simple peck, he considerately got of her, repositioning her body so she could sleep comfortably.
Closing the curtains as he left from the balcony, going back to his 'masters' home.
"master wang, you are back"

This terrifying man was the reason for nightmares, the reason people tell their children not to play outside.

So new chapter, I'm sorry for the delay. Any ways I've been trying to see why you can't have power stones on my chapters, its really weird if anyone knows why please tell me.
They finally admitted they love each other in this one.
I can't wait to get 20k reads, it makes me happy that I have so many amazing people reading this book. I can admit it isn't that well put together and there could be additional plot holes but thank you for reading.
Also, what did you think of this development, I originally didn't want the ML to be to OP, but meh, it'll make the story more interesting I suppose,
Next chapter, I think a mystery character will be announced, please stay around for that.
Also, I'm thinking of writing another smut chapter but more detailed and in the present time, be prepared mentally and maybe physically.
