Chen Yue

"Ow...ow..ow, why does my head hurts?" inside a forest, a young man said as he tries to get up. His body is covered in with injuries and there are some blood patches on his clothes. The young man opens his eyes and a puzzled expression appeared in his face.

"WHERE THE FLIP I AM?!" the young man shouted loudly as he stares at the unfamiliar surroundings. He was Chen Yue, he lived an ordinary life in the past. He remembered that after his work at a hospital as a rad tech. He went to a nearby street to smoke. What he didn't expect was that while he was smoking, an accident will befall to a bystander like him.

At that time out of nowhere, a series of gunshot sounded in the area and the people around him panicked and run away. In the middle of confusion, Chen Yue also runs along with the people. But suddenly, he felt a warm feeling on his chest. When he glanced down and touched his chest, he saw he was bleeding. There he knows he's been shot.

Suddenly he felt his head being dizzy and lightheaded and he blacked out. That is the last thing that Chen Yue remembered. So he was confused about how he ended up in this place.

While he was thinking on himself, he suddenly felt immense pain in his head. He falls to the ground clutching his head and started to roll and scream.

Chen Yue felt a wave of information coming inside his mind. It was memories of a man he didn't know.

After an unknown amount of time, the pain stops and Chen Yue lie in the ground powerlessly. He was feeling extremely tired as he closes his eyes to rest. He realizes that those memories belong to him, to be precise it belongs to the new him. He didn't know why and what happened, but his souls were transmigrated in this body. In an unexpected twist, he and the young man both have the same name, Chen Yue.

The Chen Yue in this world is a member of the Chen clan in the capital of Soaring Dragon Empire. He was the young master of the Chen family which holds great influence in the capital. He was an arrogant young master who uses his family's power to bully innocent people. Chen Yue was also notorious for his crimes in the capital. While Chen Yue was busy absorbing all those memories inside his head. He heard a loud shout calling for him. He turn towards where the shouts came from and saw several people wearing a red armor walking towards his direction.

"Young master Chen! It is fortunate that you are alive!" out of nowhere, a young woman wearing a set of red clothes runs towards him and inspect his body. When the woman sees his body is covered in injuries, she started to tear up and cry. "Young master as long as you're alive that's alright. The general already sends some people to chase those assassins who did this to you"

'Well I can't say that your Young master Chen is already dead, and that another person was now inside your Young master's body' from the memories he get. Chen Yue knew that this young woman wearing in front of him is his childhood friend, Mei Yin.

Mei Yin came from the Mei family that was situated in the Flowing Water city outside the capital. Because the Chen and Mei family has a friendly relation, Chen Yue's grandfather Chen Ruilong decided to take Mei Yin in the Chen family so that she can learn more. Because of that, Chen Yue and Mei Yin grew up together very close to each other.

It is also because of that that even the two of them grew together, they always fight every time simply because Chen Yue was jealous of her talent. But Mei Yin didn't do anything and just let him shout at her while wearing a gentle smile on her face.

When the current Chen Yue realize how the previous Chen Yue treated Mei Yin, he felt bad, not only for her, but also for the previous Chen Yue. He seems not to realize the feelings she had for him. What was painful to a woman was loving someone that hated you. How can an 18 years old young lady bear all the shout and hate that the man she love gave to her. But until now, she was enduring all of that just because of the word called 'love'.

"Yin'er, I am sorry for all the things that I did in the past. I hope you can forgive me" Chen Yue can only apologize to her for all the grievances she received in the past.

When Mei Yin heard the words that came out of his mouth, her mouth gape open and she stares at him with shocked in her face. Her misty eyes become even more watery as tears uncontrollably pour out like a pouring rain. She held both her hands in front of her chest as she couldn't believe what she just heard. She sobs and cry while her soft body was trembling. The man she loves the most, and also the man who hated her and jealous of her talent was now apologizing. That unbridled Young master Chen who was feared all over the capital was now apologizing, if the people in the capital knew of this, they will surely be shocked that their souls might came out of their mouth.

Seeing the shock and surprise in her tear stained face, Chen Yue not knowing what to do put his arms around her and hug her closely. He can clearly felt that when he hugged her, her body become stiff and she was not moving.

"Y...y...young master Chen, your people are waiting" after several minutes being hugged by Chen Yue. Mei Yin realize that there are still people around them. When she thought of how Young master Chen hugged her, her face turned crimson red like a ripe apple.

Looking at the shy and embarrassed Mei Yin, Chen Yue couldn't help but laugh inside his mind and thought, 'The man you love is already dead and I only take over his body. I don't know what to do as your love is really not directed towards me' Chen Yue just breath a helpless sigh and decided to just let the time decide what will happen.
