Mei Family Residence

After the incident about the assassination in the Mei family occur, there were several big changes that happened in the Mei family. Right now, there are multiple guards patrolling around the whole mansion. Everywhere you look there will be a guard with a straight face that was observing his surroundings. They also set up a detection array in the mansion and other several traps that would be able to stop or detect an assassin.

Mei Yin and other members of the Mei family entered in a close door cultivation. Because of what happened, they were motivated even a little to enhance their strength so that they can prevent something like that from happening. They also triple the training of their guards and gives them some cultivation resources for them to improve.

Chen Yue right now was alone inside Mei Yin's room. Because Mei Yin is in a closed door training, she was using a different room with a array formation that helps gathers the Qi around them. With that, Mei Yin will definitely progress faster than before.

After Chen Yue uses some genjutsu to the assassin, he now knew who they are. They were an assassin organization which mainly stationed in the capital. He knew where are their base in the capital was located. So what he plans to do when he returns in the capital was to go to that base and farm some system points. But he felt a little disappointed to know that the assassins never knew who requested his assassination. Without knowing who wanted to kill him, Chen Yue also needs to interrogate some members of the assassin organization especially those in the higher ups to knew who payed them for his life.

Several days passed by and Mei Yin was still in closed door training. It seems she was on the verge of breakthrough and just needed a little bit of time. Getting bored inside the mansion with Jin Tian and Xiao Ke only accompanying him, Chen Yue decided to stroll the streets of the Flowing Water City to see if there is something interesting.

"Young man from your looks you must be new in the city. If you need a guide, I can help you with that, you only need to give me low grade spirit stones and it will be alright" glancing to where the voice came from, Chen Yue saw a young man wearing ragged clothes standing in the side of the street. Looking at his appearance, the young man must be from the slums of the city as his complexion is not good and his body was thin.

"Ok, lead me to the best places in this city" Chen Yue throws a single low grade spirit stone and the young man gleefully catch it. Jin Tian looks suspiciously towards the young man and whisper to Chen Yue, "Young master why do you agreed to him. I can just ask around about the best places in the city. What if he had some bad intentions in approaching you?"

"Even if you ask around, it will still be limited on what they tell you. It is still better to have someone from this city to guide us around. Also, don't worry if he had any kind of intentions, didn't you promise that you will protect me? Now is your chance to do it" laughing loudly, Chen Yue then walks forward and followed behind the young man. Jin Tian's eyes suddenly burned in spirit when he heard what Chen Yue said. He thought, 'That's right, I promise to protect young master and i already failed twice. This time I must ensure that nothing happens to him'

Xiao Ke who notices the fighting spirit in Jin Tian's eyes just shake her head. In this days that she was with her young master, she noticed the great changes that happened to him. He was no longer harassing her like in the past, and was now a little kind. Also, her fear in her young master lessens a lot as she interact with his this couple of days. Noticing that they were already a little far away, Xiao Ke shouted and runs towards them, "Young master wait!"

"Umm, how should I call you? By the way you can call me Su Feng" Su Feng the young man said to Chen Yue as he didn't know what he should call him.

"Just call me young master Chen, that would do" Chen Yue plainly said as he looked around him. Although the building and the houses in the city if good Chen Yue didn't see anything extraordinary here. It was like the capital but a little downgraded here.

Su Feng seems to noticed that Chen Yue was getting bored so he said, "Young master Chen, there is a very popular restaurant here that even people from the other cities visits. It serves delicious food and drinks that tastes so good that you would be addicted to it. Also the waiters in the restaurant is all beautiful and sexy ladies"

Chen Yue notices that when Su Feng talked about the restaurant, he seems to be excited at the same time feeling down. Chen Yue didn't want to ask anything and just agreed to Su Feng's suggestion in going to the restaurant. They were also hungry as they didn't eat anything before going out.

With Chen Yue agreeing, Su Feng immediately lead the way towards the restaurant.

After several minutes of walking, they finally arrived at the restaurant. The restaurant is quite big with several floors and at the front gate was a banner with, Silent Sparrow Restaurant written in it. When Su Feng was about to enter the restaurant, the guards at the door almost blocked him. But when they see Chen Yue who was dressed in a luxurious manner, they immediately thought that Su Feng is Chen Yue's servant so they let him in even wearing ragged clothes.

Su Feng's eyes were wide open as he stares around him. This is the first time he entered this restaurant as he was always stopped by the guards in his past attempts. The things he knew about this restaurant were only acquired from the rumors about them that he believed to be true.

The interior of the restaurant is plainly decorated but it gives a serene atmosphere in the area. Tables and chairs were nothing extraordinary unlike those Black Jade Wood used in the restaurant in the capital.

"Welcome do you have a VIP card? or are you new here?" a beautiful lady approach Chen Yue and asked. Because Chen Yue is a handsome young man, and carries the aura of a young master around him wherever he goes, this lady immediately thought of approaching him first before the other does.

"I am new here" Chen Yue replied towards the lady.

"Do you want to be a VIP? If you want you can choose from being a Silver VIP or Gold VIP" the beautiful lady said. When she noticed that Chen Yue wanted her to explain more using just the expression on his face, she smiled and continues, "If you become a VIP member here, you can request extra jobs from our employees here. Oh by the way all employees here were all beautiful female. Also, there is some request that can only be made if you are a Gold VIP. And those request is secret and will only be know to you if you become a Gold VIP"

"I guess I need to pay to become a VIP right? So how much for the Gold VIP?" Chen Yue said directly as he already knew this type of situation. Aside from having power, money is the other thing that is important in this world. And that money is the spiritual stones.

The beautiful lady were surprised by Chen Yue's direct attitude at first, but then regain her composure. She already experience this type of scenario many times in the past. "100 medium grade spiritual stones for the Gold VIP membership"

Chen Yue then turned to Jin Tian and asked for the money. Jin Tian was the one who was carrying his money, while Xiao Ke carries mostly his clothes and daily need. This is what the previos Chen Yue does so he didn't changed it. Also, because of this the previous Chen Yue gave Jin Tian and Xiao Ke a space ring which were considered a rare item here.

After getting the spirit stones, Chen Yue gave it to the beautiful lady. The lady then said, "Please follow me"
