Assassins

After the death of their leader, the members of the Iron Head bandit group started to run away to escape. But how could Chen Yue let those system points get away. Without any second thought, Chen Yue dashed towards the escaping members of the bandit group and kill them one by one.

In the area where the caravan was camping, those who survived help to clean up the mess in their camp. The dead bodies in the ground were decided to be buried in the area to make sure that no magical beast would come for them. The old man who was fighting first against Iron Head was being tended to by several people. His injury was quite severe and he needed immediate treatment if not his life might be in danger. The same goes to those with him fighting against Iron Head.

When Chen Yue returned to the camp, Jin Tian was already there holding his black sword. Blood was still dripping at the tip of his sword and was waiting anxiously in his return. That's why when Jin Tian saw Chen Yue returned safe, he immediately checked his body for some injuries. When he saw that Chen Yue has no wound in his body, Jin Tian let out a sigh in relief.

"Young master Chen, the food is already prepared, how about we eat dinner first?" Uncle Sun came and said to Chen Yue. He was still curious about the move Chen Yue performed earlier. But he knew he had no right to ask such a question.

"Alright we'll eat first" nodding his head, Chen Yue walked towards where the food was prepared. Mei Yin was already there holding a small bowl and was eating silently. Chen Yue then take his portion of food and sat beside Mei Yin.

Mei Yin already knew that Chen Yue arrived, but she was so embarrassed about what happened earlier that she decided to remain silent. But her ears and cheeks were burning red as she tried to remain calm while eating. But when Chen Yue sat beside her, she felt her heart was going to jump out of her chest and she started to squirm in her seat.

"Yin'er you are eating to little. Look at you, you are so thin you should eat a little more" unlike Mei Yin who was eating on a small bowl. Chen Yue's bowl was much more larger, he even had a plate beside him. Mei Yin's food was not even one forth of his portion. That's why Chen Yue pick a large piece of meat on his plate and place it atop of Mei Yin's small bowl.

Mei Yin stares at the huge piece of meat covering the whole bowl in her hands. Inside her mind, she thought, 'Brother Chen I am not like you who doesn't care of what I eat. The reason I eat this little is because I don't want to get fat. What would happen if I become fat, I would become ugly and you will not bother with me anymore'

Oblivious of what was going on inside Mei Yin's mind, Chen Yue continuously put more food into her small bowl. Mei Yi just stopped eating and stares at her bowl with her lips pouting.

After having their dinner, Chen Yue decided to go to the river to take a bath. When he mentioned that he will take a bath, Mei Yin who was around that time immediately turned red and run towards the carriage. Chen Yue just watch her run away like a scared rabbit and laugh amusingly.

Chen Yue removed his clothes and jump in the river. Although the water was cold, is still giving him a refreshing feeling. Inside his mind, Chen Yue asked the system, "System how much system points I acquire from earlier?"

'39,200 system points, not bad' Chen Yue then asked the system, "System how much is the Water Style Skill book?"

*Ding... Host the water style skill book cost 60,000 system points. Host needs a total of 20,800 system points if host wanted to but the book.

Chen Yue was slightly surprised by the price of the skill book. He thought that it will be just around 40,000 system points. It seems he needed to farm more system points in the near future.

While submerge in the water, Chen Yue felt somebody was getting closer. He swam up the surface of the water and saw a woman taking her clothes off just several meters away from him. Just behind the woman, behind the tree was a man peeking with a perverted expression on his face. As Chen Yue didn't know them and this was the first time he saw them, he concluded that they might have been a part of the caravan which was just attacked earlier.

Although the woman was beautiful, she was still realms lower compared to Mei Yin. But Chen Yue still admired her pale white skin that looks so smooth and her large chest. After admiring the woman, Chen Yue like no one was around, jump out from the river and walk away. His heavenly sword was exposed to the world swaying revealing its splendor and majesty.

Chen Yue acted like nobody was there and took his clothes on the ground and disappear behind the bushes and trees. The woman stared dumbly at the leaving silhouette of Chen Yue with both her eyes and mouth wide open.

Chen Yue returned to the carriage wearing a new set of clothes. Because the carriage was quite huge, people can lie down there and sleep. Mei Yin who was already inside were soundly asleep with Xiao Ke beside her also sleeping. Hearing the soft breathing of Mei Yin, Chen Yue smiled and also decided to lie down and rest.

Somewhere in the imperial capital of the Soaring Dragon Empire

Inside a dark room, a group of people wearing black cloaks were having a meeting. Each of them was releasing a cold and murderous air around them. If ordinary people were to be placed inside this room, they will be frightened to death.

"That trash Chen Yue leave the capital earlier. It seems they are heading towards the Flowing Water City base on the route they take" a man wearing a black cloak said coldly. This is the group that assassinates and killed the previous Chen Yue. Their group is called Dark Hand, each member of the Dark Hand is an assassin. Their job is to assassinate whoever their employer wanted to be assassinated in exchange for a tremendous amount of money.

"Because we failed to kill him last time, the employer was enraged. We should not fail the assassination this time. Especially right now as he was not in the capital, it will be much more easy for us to kill that brat" another man said. What they didn't know was that their assassination last time was successful and they killed the previous Chen Yue.

"Alright, we will kill the brat while he was outside the capital," a man said and then turn to look at a man wearing a gold emblem on his chest and said, "Bring another gold ranked assassin with you and you will kill that brat. I want that brat to not return the capital alive. I want him dead!"

The man with a gold emblem on his chest cupped his fist and disappear in the room.

The man who ordered the gold ranked assassin then turned and said, "I still don't know why the emperor wanted that brat to be killed"

"We don't need to know the reason why he wanted the brat dead, we only need to do what our employer told us to do. And remember to watch your mouth, we don't want the name of our employer to be known to others" after that, everyone in the room disappears and the room turned silent.
