84 You Again?

" You again? " Alessia questioned as she looked at Zhi Ruo through the rear-view mirror.

Zhi Ruo stayed silent and didn't say anything.

Leon, who was sitting in the passenger seat next to his sister, turned and inquired, " You guys know each other? "

" No. " Zhi Ruo calmly answered.

Alessia explained, " We briefly met at a hotel yesterday morning. I gave her a tip about Jessica. "

Wang Yong finally started to catch on and asked Zhi Ruo in a gloomy voice, " Is she the woman that tried to slap you? "

They were in the mafia, of course, he had a certain hold of the police but if they have video evidence, it might be more difficult.

" What were you exchanging? " Zhi Ruo finally spoke up.

" Illegal weapons and a weapon prototype. " Alessia responded, still in total control of the wheel and finessing her way through the cars.

" So basically, if they had no video evidence of the exchange, they can't arrest you? " Zhi Ruo questioned in a calm voice.

" I have connections at the police department but they won't be able to help me if there is video evidence and they probably already made a few backups of the video. If there wasn't any video, we wouldn't need to be on the run right now. " Leon quickly responded.

Zhi Ruo sighed and pondered, her values were a bit conflicted right now. Even though they didn't directly harm people, they were still providing other people with a way to harm others. However, if they get arrested, they wouldn't be able to help Wang Yong.

She did work with government security and did manage to get a look at their security system. China's cybersecurity is clearly above the United States so she was quite confident she could easily breach their systems as she knew the main loopholes of security systems from the government but independent computers needed pen-testing (penetration testing) and she had to locate them all.

Alessia and Leon incredulously looked at Zhi Ruo.

" Can we trust you? " Leon raised his brow while looking at her.

" No. " Zhi Ruo replied bluntly without looking up from the computer, " Try to find another plan just in case but I assure you I will try my best. "
