3 Truth

After laughing with all my guts I didn't know what to do . Hagrid was looking at me with awe while my uncle gave me the death stare.

"Oh , are you ok what's so funny Harry" asked the lovable giant in confusion.

Trying to get my bearings after that outburst I took a breath and, said "it's nothing major Hagrid it's just your so funny. Asking for tea in a situation like this."

Having brushed what I said to the back of his head he kept on talking.

"An like I told yeh, I'm Keeper of Keys at Hogwarts – yeh'll know all about Hogwarts, o' course."

'Er – no,' I said being as how I shouldn't know a thing in reality.

Hagrid looked shocked from my answer not noting what to do I did what I believe was best and apologies. "Sorry,"

Getting over his initial shock he responds.

"Sorry?" Hagrid, turning to stare at the Dursley's, who shrank back into the shadows.

"It's them as should be sorry! I knew yeh weren't gettin' yer letters but I never thought yeh wouldn't even know abou' Hogwarts, fer cryin' out loud! Did yeh never wonder where yer parents learnt it all?"

'Knowing what he was reforming to I needed to keep up with the act of ingnorice.

" All what?"

Hearing my response Hagrid was appalled "ALL WHAT?" Hagrid thundered. "Now wait jus' one second!" He had leapt to his feet. In his anger he seemed to fill the whole

hut. The Dursleys were cowering against the wall.

"Do you mean ter tell me," he growled at the Dursleys, "that this boy – this boy! – knows nothin' abou' – about ANYTHING?"

Well technically I know why to much for my own good but he doesn't need to know that.

But before our conversation could continue uncle Vernon shouted.

"Stop!"

he commanded. "Stop right there, sir! I forbid you to tell the boy anything!" A braver man than Vernon Dursley would have quailed under

the furious look Hagrid now gave him; when Hagrid spoke, his every syllable trembled with rage.

"You never told him? Never told him what was in the letter Dumbledore left fer him? I was there! I saw Dumbledore leave it, Dursley! An' you've kept it from him all these years?'"

said Harry eagerly.

"STOP! I FORBID YOU!" yelled Uncle Vernon in panic.

I honestly don't know where his courage came from but he would not stop yelling at Hagrid.

Before anything

Aunt Petunia gave a gasp of horror.

" ah, go boil yer heads, both of yeh," said Hagrid. "Harry – yer a wizard."

There was silence inside the hut. Only the sea and the whistling wind could be heard.

I honestly didn't now what to say. I know the answer I could continue the charade of going back and fort of this act like the movie or the book. But I couldn't do it anymore I had to break out of this reality I needed to change.

"Yes I know" My answer was like thunder in the already terrible situation for my family.

"How? How did you know, we never told you anything, never gave you the slightest glimpse towards what you truly are.

Hearing my uncles response made Hagrid livid

If their was an ounce of remorse left in him in died right their and then.

Before things escalated anymore I decided to come clean

"The letter from Hogwarts I had already opened it before I have given you the new one the next day. It was a letter for me and I didn't want to open it in front of you because I knew you would just take it from me."

Coming to the realization of what I said uncle Vernon went red. So red you would mistake him for a tomato. However before he responded I looked towards Hagrid and said.

"So Hagrid can you lead me to this magical school we're I can learn to be free?."

Hearing my answer Hagrid was crying from sadness and grief to my question.

"Yes I was will." And with that we left the little hut and left the Dursley's in awe and horror.

After getting on Hagrid's bike we went on way towards London

The next day I was walking with Hagrid knowing that we were going to depart for magical London I had to change my current appearance.

"Hey, Hagrid I was wondering if before we leave if we could go to a clothes shop I don't have anything presentable only Dudley's old rags."

Looking at me with a great smile Hagrid answers with a chuckle. "Well of course Harry but I don't have any muggle money on me."

Before he could speak anymore I pulled out 200 Pounds out of my pocket.

"Don't worry Hagrid I have some money on me."

After our talk Hagrid and I went to buy myself some clothes nothing to fancy seeing that I would grow out of them by the end of the year but still presentable.
