Over the next three days, all the inhabitants of Grin'nix prepared to leave and start making the four-month journey north to the region of Grammel. Reinhart found himself being more useful than he initially thought he would be. His perspective as a construction worker helped him see efficient ways of dismantling buildings and salvaging materials to be used elsewhere. He also was trying to figure out how he could make a vehicle that could go over rough terrain.

One option was to make campers, but that would require many people to learn to drive. The better one would be to create something that could pull big wagons. He could ask Kalissia to pull them, but that was not reliable, and something told Reinhart in his gut that the Dralkon were not build for the cold. That left him with creating a big truck of some sort, and that was something he could get behind.
