80 The Masked Figure Is Dead

*Cough cough* Lai Ho couldn't help but started to cough.

"Grandfather!" Lai Meiyun hurriedly went to Lai Ho's side and held him up so that he wouldn't drop on the ground.

Just as everyone was about to leave however, Ronald had left the tree he was hiding from and slowly started to walk pass them.

The reason why Ronald had done this to begin with was because he wanted to test his theory about something.

However, none of them seemed to care about him at all and just continued talking to each other while he was walking by them.

After exiting out of the park, Ronald was completely dumbfounded.

Why did Lai Meiyun, one of the heroines in this novel, seem to not know or care who he was at all?

Now of course, if this was back during his previous life where all of the heroines hated him before, then Ronald wouldn't be too surprised about it.

However, the main problem was that all of the heroines he had come across so far in this life were overly affectionate towards him besides Gu Yuan in this life.

So why was Lai Meiyun the only actual 'normal' heroine he has ever encountered so far?

Then afterwards, he headed straight towards the room Ye Fan was in undetected and noticed that Ye Fan's hands were reattached back to his arm and was currently talking to Gu Shunzhang.

It seems like the limb replantation had gone well for him, almost as if Ye Fan had never severed his hand to begin with.

But anyways, his purpose of paying Ye Fan a visit wasn't because he wanted to check up with Ye Fan and see if he was doing fine...

His actual visit to the hospital was...

To see if he can once again 'kill' Ye Fan.

Why?

Cause if he manages to kill Ye Fan, that means that Ye Fan isn't the protagonist anymore.

Of course, Ronald wasn't going to actually kill Ye Fan though, he was just going to release a ton of killing intent and bring him to the brink of death to see if Ye Fan still has his stupid plot armor protecting him.

So with that in mind, Ronald walked into the hospital room where Ye Fan was at.

"Who are you? You're not allowed to be in he-" Before Gu Shunzhang could even finish his sentence, Ronald immediately rushed over to Ye Fan's bed.

Afterwards, Ronald grabbed Ye Fan by the head before Ye Fan could even react, quickly lifted him up out of the bed, and then started to smash his skull on the ground repeatedly.

"FUCK! GU SHUNZHANG! GO GET HELP!" Ye Fan desperately cried out to Gu Shunzhang.

"I-I'll try!" Gu Shunzhang then quickly ran out of the room in order to alert all his bodyguards and call the police.

'SHIT!' Ye Fan couldn't help but start to get extremely scared in his heart.

He knew that the current masked figure that was bashing his skull onto the ground repeatedly right now was the same masked figure that had kidnapped Princess Sophia in order to lure him in.

But that's not the point right now!

Ye Fan knew that if he didn't do anything now, he was going to die here on the spot.

But what can he even do?

He stood absolutely no chance against this masked figure to begin with!

Ye Fan's life started to flash before his very own eyes while the masked figure was STILL bashing his head on the floor.

Everything he had worked up for and all of the hardships he has went through.

Was it all really going to end...

Even though the previous Ye Fan had stood absolutely no chance at fighting the masked figure before, for some reason, his gut feeling was telling him that he can take down the masked figure in front of him right now if he really tried.

So after closing his eyes and taking a deep breath while more blood had started dripping down from all over his head, he immediately teleported right in front of the masked figure and started rapidly punching him with all of his might.

Not only were the punches he was throwing were extremely fast, but they were extremely devastating as well.

His punches were so devistating in fact, that the shock waves from his punches alone started to make cracks on the hospital walls.

After rapidly punching the masked man for a few more minutes however, Ye Fan decided to stop punching the masked man.

Why?

Because he had finally done it!

He had managed to kill the masked figure!

That's right, he could tell that the masked figure was dead because the masked figure had stopped breathing and his pulse stopped working despite the fact that the masked figure's corpse was still standing up.

After confirming that the masked figure's corpse wasn't moving at all, Ye Fan collapsed on the hospital floor due to exhaustion and had a big smile on his face.

'I've won.'

'A being stronger than a Grandmaster... has been slain by my very own hands!'

After praising himself inside of his head for a little bit longer, just as Ye Fan was about to close his eyes and take a nap however...
