It started in a original way, with the ghost thing, the first ark is kind of cool though i find that continuing to use the male name when the other characters are think they are talking with a woman is a bit strange, it was still ok, but unfortunately the end of the first ark is also the end of the ghost part, after that he becomes human with a few special abilities. Wich is shame since there really aren't a lot of novels about ghosts. To boost that a few items that he finds are strong for humans, but they are almost useless to him yet they are considered powerful
Hopefully the author doesn't delete this comment, because i don't have nice things to say. Props to the author though for sticking with this story for as long as he has. But it's so disappointing when you see the title of a novel, read the synopsis and excitedly start the novel. Only for it to be a total disappointment. A ghost or spirit protagonist is oddly not explored much in isekai and this is definitely not a ghost or spirit protagonist. It's basically just a powerful human considering the way he fights. He's supposed to be a spirit, but 400 hundred chapters in he's still wearing the baroness like a meat suit. Plus the romance and tying him down to the kingdom was just plain boring to read. And another mistakes authors make, too many isekaid individuals just cheapens the story. Well hopefully we get a proper ghost/spirit protagonist in the future. Hopefully with a better author, because this book ain't it
Having read tons of novels (or at least parts of them), I'm kind of tired of the main character having the same reactions. I think that he should have noticed that he can't use a squirrel's or a ferret's body as soon as he took control. I mean that as in, he'll need practice since, as a human, he doesn't know how to walk/run on all fours, attack with claws or use/control his tail. What I mean all in all, is that the main character is pretty generic, not that smart or memorable.
I read till chapter ~60 and I have to say that itâs a good book for starters with some interesting concepts. Itâs easy to read and has a lot potential. Albeit I have the feeling that much of its potential is not used. I hope that it changes in the later chapters. I also donât really like the personality of the main character, he seems really oblivious and easygoing. He is not really calculating and does everything according to the situation. All in one itâs a solid novel in general(as i said, I didnât read long), but itâs not for me.
Dropped at chapter 14, mostly because I didn't really like how the main character had started developing. First of all, he decides to become a "jack of all trades, master of none", and learn fire and lightning magic instead of just focusing on the iron magic which he has an affinity for. Also, he's decided to go save the sister of the dead body he's possessing, which I can't really get behind.
the concept is interesting, but the punctuation (or lack thereof in some cases), spelling/ grammatical errors, the pacing, and the writing jumping around quite a bit is rather annoying, since I have ADHD it makes focusing on and enjoying the story difficult. granted I've only read about 18 chapters and it probably gets better, but as I said, it's difficult to focus on and enjoy
I got to chapter 39 before I had to drop this, writing quality isn't poor but it is close. To give an inference, the first person perspective is so bland it sounds like 3rd person. Fights are short and most parts skipped until tables are turned. Characters aren't fleshed out, story is forced, there is little detail about the world, and to world is also meh.
The novel starts realy good and I realy like it. But after a time it realy disturbs me how Lilia can level up so fast and that he always cares for her ⌠Anyway sry if you donât have the same taste but I think a good fantasy needs some dark moments where e.g. some close friends die and not only some side chars that where mentioned for 20 chapters at most (Snow Queens). Because this could always make the story a bit more interesting and I think the mc is overall a bit too good like Traveler in Genshin he always help everyone âŚ
I have read 41 chapters. The character development is average albeit forced and unfulfilling. The character itself is nice and him not wanting to kill is understandable and relatable until later on you realize how he puts his problems at the back of his mind and ignores problems around him which makes him unbearable. He likes to overestimate himself and he has no plan b. He weirdly enough whines later on about the cruelty of the world because he made a half baked plan that goes haywire instead of doing that earlier which just makes me distance from him rather than sympathizing with him. The story is good until the part where he hesitated to kill. It would have been nice to see him think about it more but he brushed it off so quickly. After that it seemed like the author might have been in pressured cause the way he finally kills someone is frustrating. Then the weird power boost which limited his POSSESSION. The chapters when he hesitated to kill and when he gained a message from admin were a mess. The admin message seems more like the author sending a message to the readers. I honestly thought this would be a more ghost focused novel but nah it isn't. The character development is average The story development is below average. Everything else is 5 star Sorry for such a low review.
I read light novels constantly, especially from the reincarnation category. This one is definitely one of my favourites. I grew to love main characters and those he cares about. Writting has good balance between descriptions and keeping action moving, though it could sometimes describe scenery and characters in more detail to reinforce mental image. Only downside would be occasional typos, they are not very common, but they do happen in most chapters. Itâs usually âheâ instead of âtheâ or âthoughtâ Instead of âthoughâ. But nothing major. Presented world has some minor issues of seeming to level up with main character to some degree to keep challenge real but itâs quite consistent and most important, very enjoyable. I really reccomend it to any âisekaiâ fan :) And to author: Thank you for writting such an awesome story. I look forward to every chapter as they being me a lot of joy :)
One of my favorite books I have found on this site. I personally loved the way that the author set up the system and built the world. The author also updates constantly which is amazing. This is the first time I'm writing a review for a book and I did this just to show my appreciation to the author for giving me a way to brighten my day, so thank you author.
