I hurried out of the principal's office the moment he permitted me to leave. He didn't want anything from me —just wanted me to meet his Parrot, Jammy.

He asked me about Storm and my relationship with him, as I fawned over the beautiful Parrot. And I truthfully answered. Nothing is going on between us. Storm is someone I'm trying to get rid of —I can't possibly date him.

Mr Kim looked pleased with my answer, which was a bit confusing.

However, I didn't voice those out because I'm afraid he might make me stay some more, so he could answer all my questions.

When I went to the library an hour after I left the principal's office —I would have gone earlier, but a teacher took me by my collar and dragged me to the next class I had — Storm had long gone.
