7 Human Resistance/Capture!!

Shockwave, being one who conducts experiments almost religiously, has a lot of factories and laboratories throughout his territory on Earth. However, just like with any factory, he ends up getting a lot of leftover scrap metal and sludge from his tests. Not wanting any of the scrap near his factory (it took up too much space after a while), Shockwave promptly had this junk taken outside of the main city and factories and dumped in various scrap piles. However, the humans fighting Shockwave have been able to raid from these scrap piles, taking the metal and other junk there and creating weapons effective enough against the larger Decepticons for the humans to be a legitimate threat.

At one of these junk piles, a small group of resistance fighters was going on another one of these scrap raids. Leading them was a teenage girl in orange custom Cybertronian armor that may as well have passed for dark grey considering the amount of wear and grime covering it. She had light brown skin, short red hair, and electric blue eyes that shone through her helmet. The others wore similar armor, but they were less streamlined than her. Two of them hauled hovercarts behind them.

"Remember, guys," the girl said, "Take only what we need."

The group split up grabbing whatever loose metal they could and putting it in one of the carts. The object ranged from seemingly useless bits of metal to entire machine parts.

"Looks like we found ourselves a good harvest here." One of the soldiers said.

"Hey, we need that, right?" another said, pointing up to what looked like a handle sticking out of a spot high up in one of the piles.

"I got it!" the girl said, activating the thrusters in her feet. Flying u to it, she grabbed the piece and was able to pull it out after a few good tugs. Once she did, a glow in the sky caught her attention, and she looked up to see a cluster of objects hurtling down from the sky.

"What's that?" she asked.

The others looked to where she was pointing and noticed the falling objects as well.

"Meteors, I think." one of the soldiers said, "It's probably not that big of a deal. We should get out of here though, Sari; don't want any Decepticons to find us."

"Right," the girl, Sari, said, flying back down to put the object in the cart. Suddenly, something leaped from the top of one of a nearby junk pile, tackling Sari to the ground.

"Sundacc!" the first soldier said, raising his gun. The others raised their guns as well, only to be driven back by a laser barrage coming from a robotic bird. As the team hid behind the carts, Ravage pinned Sari down and, activating a tazer in his tail, jabbed it into her torso, knocking her out. With Sari in stasis, Ravage picked her up in his mouth and ran off towards the nearest scanning facility. Laserbeak, seeing Ravage run off, stopped his attack and flew off after Ravage. The other soldiers peeked out from the cart to see Ravage and Laserbeak run off with their captive.

"Not good." The second soldier said. Just then, they heard a faint screaming and looked up and behind them to see something fall of into the distance as one of the meteors landed nearby.

"Let's check it out." The first soldier said, running towards the crash site. The others followed him towards the crater, and, looking into it, saw that it wasn't a meteor, but a pod of some kind.

"What IS that?" one of the soldiers asked.

Suddenly, the hatch hissed open and the soldiers started back in fear as they watched something appear out of the inside. To their surprise it was another robot, clearly a Transformer, but not one they had ever seen before; it looked like it could turn into either a car or a jet as he had both the wings on his back as well as the front end of a streamlined car on his chest. His color was a dark grey with red outlining, and his head looked like a mix between a pilot's and a knight's. Slowly, Corvax stumbled out of the pod, still dizzy from the overly rough entry and landing.

One of the soldiers raised his gun to shoot, but then noticed the Autobot symbol on Corvax's wing.

"I don't think he's a Decepticon," he said, "Look at the symbol on his wing."

"Yeah, I see it," the second soldier said, "What do you suppose it means?"

Before anyone could answer, Corvax began talking into a com.

"This is Corvax. Does anyone copy?" he said, "Demotak? Beatbox? X-plode?"

Static came over the com, and Corvax growled in frustration.

"Hello, is anyone there?" he said again, "This is Corvax. Come in!"

Still static. Corvax stomped his foot in frustration: "Well, looks like I'm on my own," he said, pulling out his blaster and looking around. It was clear he had not seen the human soldiers yet. Slowly, one of them walked out to see him.

"Excuse me?" he said, "Who are you?"

Corvax looked towards the sound, seeing the soldier walk up to him, his gun raised.

"Woah, easy there." Corvax said, holding his hands up, "I'm not here to hurt you. My name's Corvax. I'm an Autobot."

"What's an Autobot?" the soldier demanded. By now the others had joined him.

"We're what you would call the good guys." Corvax answered.

"If you're good, than prove it."

"Captain, we don't have time for this." The second soldier said, "We gotta get Sundacc back from that dog thing!"

"Who?" Corvax asked.

"One of our most valuable members was just taken by some big robot dog before you got here." One of the soldiers replied.

"Hm, maybe I can help you with that."

"You really mean it?"

"Yeah, I mean it! We Autobots are supposed to help others and protect them. However, I'm gonna need to find the rest of my team if we're to have any chance of success."

The first soldier nodded: "Alright, but we gotta drop off this metal back at our headquarters. That should lighten our load a bit; make us cover more ground faster."

"Sounds good," Corvax said, "Hop in."

Corvax transformed into his car mode, then shot a plasma hook out of the back, grappling the two carts together.

"Free ride home?" the third soldier said, "Why not."

The first soldier nodded: "Alright. Everyone in."

Once the four soldiers climbed into Corvax, he took off towards where they directed him to go, while also putting out a signal in an attempt to call in the rest of the team.

"Gah! Where did THAT come from!!?" Starscream yelled to himself. This plan was not going the way he had intended; first, Soundwave backhands him into the ground at Cybertron, then he almost gets ripped apart in the space bridge, and to top it off, just as he finally arrives at Earth, a meteor shower decided that it was the perfect time to fall and knock him out of the sky. Starscream has had his share of bad luck before, but this was just plain ridiculous. Slowly, he picked himself up from the crater he had made when he crashed, then looked around to get a better look of his surroundings.

"THIS is Earth?" he said to himself, "It's pitiful. Why would Shockwave take any interest in a planet like this? Oh well, I still have work to do. Now, to find Shockwave, or better yet, Soundwave. Oh, how surprised he will be when I, Starscream, show up and take the glory for myself!" Reenergized by this new objective, Starscream transforms into a jet and blasts off into the sky.

Meanwhile, it turned out that Starscream's absence did not go unnoticed as Megatron, alongside Onslaught and Vortex, had seen him leave earlier. They were now meeting in Megatron's throne room.

"I can go get him back right now," Vortex offered, "Just say the word and I'll bring him back on his knees."

"I'm sure you would," Megatron said, "But let's leave him be for right now."

"Sir?" Onslaught asked.

"Starscream is treacherous, but he has a certain ambition that I can't help but admire. Even when he goes rogue he's useful. I say we let him go and have his fun, while we watch the entertainment he unwittingly provides. Besides, it'll be a lot quieter around here with him gone."

"That's true enough, I guess." Onslaught said.

Megatron nodded: "I do have another job for you though, Vortex. I've noticed the Autobots have been rather quiet recently, so I want you and Skywarp to go and spy things out. If Prime is planning something big, I want to know so I can personally crush his plans myself."

Vortex nodded: "I'll get Skywarp and we can leave immediately."

"Go." Megatron said, and Vortex ran out of the throne room, transforming into his helicopter mode once he got outside. Megatron sat back in his throne.

"Everything is going very well indeed." He said to himself, smiling deviously.
