Mysterious Code

Wrapped in a large amount of vibrational superpower, her slender fingers clenched into a fist. Daisy, relying on gravity, provided acceleration for herself. She shouted loudly and directly smashed into the center of the ice storm.

"Ah! — Ah??..." Just as she burst into the fastest speed, ready to deliver a powerful blow, the training ground's main computer went offline…

With the main computer offline, so simulation naturally disappeared. Daisy lost her attack target, but her body's reaction speed was still being enhanced by gravity, and it had already surpassed her thought speed.

One moment she was sitting in a chair, the next moment she was propelled by a tremendous force and rushed out with a whoosh.

Even though she was agile and had control over her abilities, she couldn't stop the force.

Jean Grey, from a distance, tried to use telekinesis to stop her, but the superpower didn't activate in time and she saw Daisy collide ungracefully with the metal wall with a "thud".

Two seconds passed before she slowly slid down from the wall like a cartoon.

"Are you okay?... Sorry, my mood may have been a bit off these days, I couldn't control my strength." Storm realized she had lost control earlier, and seeing Daisy hit so hard, hurriedly went over to help her.

Daisy collided head-on with the metal wall, her forehead, and the wall made the first contact, the huge impact was making her see stars.

Sitting on the ground, she groaned and moaned for quite some time before regaining consciousness.

"Are you okay?" Storm looked at the super hard alloy wall, then at Daisy. It must have been uncomfortable.

Rubbing her head, Daisy glanced at her irritably. "What do you think? Forget it, my recovery ability is strong... What's wrong with this equipment? It was working fine, why did it power off?"

This level of impact was alright after a few minutes for her. For someone else, this level of impact would at least require a two-month hospital stay.

Jean Grey felt very embarrassed and quickly apologized, explaining that their battle scale exceeded the simulation limits, causing the main control computer to automatically shut down.

Daisy couldn't dwell on it, pouted and grumbled a few words, and let the matter pass.

But as she was about to leave, she noticed that her frequency seemed to resonate with the entire training ground, especially during that last collision, something different seemed to have been knocked out.

Sensing her abnormality, Storm asked, "What's wrong? Are you still feeling uncomfortable?"

"Uh, it's okay, just a little dizzy. Probably too much energy consumption." She quickly changed the subject.

In fact, Storm wasn't in great condition either. Daisy could be classified as a warrior, while Storm was a mage. The massive expenditure of mental and magical energy left her exhausted, but she felt strong when she considered herself a victor and continued to hold on.

Professor Charles, seeing them unharmed and in good spirits with each other, was very relieved. He continued to discuss international situations with Fury, then called in T'Challa. Then the two black men chatted alone until dinner time.

Daisy had a dinner at the Xavier School, and teleported Nick Fury back to S.H.I.E.L.D., and regardless of how their conversation went, she considered her favor to Wakanda fulfilled.

When she returned home, as she opened the door, before she could say a word, she saw the shine of a sword piercing through the air, aiming for her neck.

The swordsmanship was good, but unfortunately, the speed difference between them was far too slow. Although Daisy was a bit tired, this kind of attack was not a threat in her eyes.

She sidestepped, avoiding the attack, and lifted her foot, intending to kick the enemy away.

However, she was taken aback when she saw the enemy's face—it was Maki, who had a relaxation session with her photos in the afternoon.

Controlled by telepathy? That was Daisy's initial reaction.

Midway through the kick, she retracted most of her strength, but still sent the maid flying about two meters.

"Maki, have you gone mad?" She saw the maid, holding a shiny samurai sword, perform a somersault in the air. After absorbing the impact, she lunged at Daisy again.

Daisy felt a bit angry. Bursting into full speed, she punched the maid's sword away and then grabbed her by the neck, lifting her high.

Looking into the maid's eyes, she didn't seem to be under any control. What was going on??

"Miss, let me go... or keep choking me… I'm fine with anything..."

Maki was struggling to breathe, but her face had a particularly joyful expression and her eyes seemed to overflow with water.

"What's the fuck is going on?" Daisy released her. An average person couldn't have withstood those two sword strikes, but the maid didn't exude any murderous intent, which made her a little confused.

As if realizing something, she added, "I don't mind what happened before; that's your freedom. You can do what you want." Daisy could accept the maid's obsession with her and her relaxing with her photos, of course, if it were a man, that might be a different story…

"I wanted to test the gap between us." The maid returned to her usual demeanor, respectful yet intimate. Now, there was even a hint of admiration?

Daisy nodded noncommittal. To be honest, she didn't quite understand the Japanese way of thinking very well, but from the maid's words and demeanor, it seemed like she seemed to deify her, the idealized Daisy Johnson in her mind, rather than the real person, ignoring all her flaws and attributes. Now that she thought about it, it was like a licking dog…

It was a peculiar way of thinking, but in the modern world, many people have some psychological issues. Daisy could somewhat understand that the maid had a strange mindset.

After the two finished their fight, Dumpling sneakily came out and rubbed against Daisy's thigh with her head.

After playing with the little lion for a while, Daisy felt that her house was too small. She made up her mind to buy a large villa in a few days! After all, housing prices had plummeted, making it a good time to buy.

After the two, along with the lion, finished dinner, she went to the garage to check on the rhino. The big rhinoceros was still lying there obediently. The maid had bought a large bowl of carrots for it, and this guy devoured half of it.

It eats way too much... Daisy shook her head. She didn't have a good place to keep it for now, so it would continue to stay in the garage.

She gave the Wakanda cloak to the maid, allowing her to modify it however she liked. Although it was just equipment for a foot soldier, it could at least increase some defense.

Putting on her pajamas, Daisy lay on her bed, contemplating the gains and losses of today's battle.

The confined space had actually limited Storm. If the opponent had flown far away and unleashed lightning and ice storms, there would have been little she could do. Objectively speaking, Storm had the upper hand.

She then thought about the sudden strange feeling in the Danger Room

She kept her fingers lightly on her thigh, feeling like someone with ADHD, she couldn't just sleep. Even though she didn't fully understand many aspects that happened during her collision with the Danger Room, she felt like it was a piece of code, a code transmitted back by the final shockwave.

Her basic knowledge was still intact, and she hadn't slackened in her computer studies. While she might not be a top-tier hacker, there weren't many people with better computer skills than her in the world.

After a careful examination, she found it very confusing. On a whim, she took out her laptop and spent half an hour writing down the piece of code.

She then began deciphering the code. Despite her somewhat rigid thinking in terms of being a hacker, her body seemed to enjoy the process of cracking intrusion, and Daisy felt an inexplicable excitement. Following her feelings and instincts, she wanted to see what secrets lay behind this code.
