106 Leaving Wakanda

The old king seemed to ponder over his words for a moment, then neither confirmed nor denied them, and looked towards the other few people.

The Mining Tribe had been responsible for vibranium excavation for centuries due to tradition.

The importance of vibranium was self-evident, and they had already become the mainstream in Wakanda's four major tribes. The current king's lineage was from the Mining Tribe, and in order to balance or compromise, the current tribal leader had little authority. The plump old lady with a headful of braids rambled on about meaningless things and finally stated that they would follow the king's decision.

"This is a good opportunity. The information has already leaked, and now outsiders know the exact location of Wakanda. What should we do? The times require us to make changes!" The Border Tribe had been dissatisfied with their current situation and the scar-faced man shouted loudly, calling for a change in the current national policy and for Wakanda to open up to the world.

The old lady from the Merchant Tribe closed her eyes slightly, as if she were dead. She didn't care whether they opened up or continued isolation. The old king looked at the four elders, one supported, one opposed, and the remaining two abstained. He was quite satisfied; now his words would become the decisive opinion.

As the king, he couldn't claim that the leak had nothing to do with him. He had to make a statement to show that he valued the matter. At the same time, he wanted to keep the situation under his control. He pondered for a dozen seconds and then said loudly, "T'Challa."

The young prince didn't know why his father called him, but he stepped forward, "Here I am."

"I approve your departure from Wakanda. Investigate this matter thoroughly and find out where the information was leaked from."

He then looked at Daisy, "This matter also requires Miss Johnson's assistance. T'Challa will need some official support on the outside."

Daisy immediately nodded in agreement. This was a pre-arranged plan; her usual disguise was that of an Oxford University student.

With Daisy's "assistance," this matter would never be traced back to her, and the old king didn't want the truth to come out. According to Daisy's speculation, he was just making a big show, letting T'Challa spend a couple of years outside, and then he would sweep the issue under the rug.

By sending the heir out, the old king had no worries and could also free his hands to consolidate the internal situation, preparing Wakanda for its journey beyond its borders.

T'Challa didn't have as many thoughts as his real father, but he knew that once he left Wakanda, it would be much easier for him to meet Daisy again. The distance between the United States and the United Kingdom was nothing for them.

The two exchanged glances, causing Daisy to roll her eyes.

With the general direction decided, the remaining details were easily handled.

Firstly, all the mercenary captives were handed over to the Mining Tribe to work in the mines. Even the mining tribe leader, who had been opposing, agreed with this approach. According to his words, if white people could force black people to mine, they should be able to take revenge now!

Batroc possessed crucial information, and T'Challa was going to take him out to search for clues.

Red Tank had a large physique, which would have been helpful for mining. However, the priests of the four tribes opposed this; they had each received divine oracles that evil should not be left in Wakanda.

The tribal leaders were horrified, treating him like a plague, and handed Red Tank over to T'Challa as well.

Before leaving, the old king had a private conversation with Daisy.

"Miss Johnson, can the outside world truly accept us?" The old man was still somewhat worried.

Daisy thought for a moment, "If you reveal your strength all at once, it might be difficult for the outside world to accept you."

To gain her assistance, the old man even gave her a cloak – the kind used by the Border Tribe. The cloak could activate a blue energy shield, although it had a low vibranium content, its defense was still decent even in its normal state.

However, Daisy felt a bit regretful. It seemed that there was no tradition of wearing capes in Marvel, unlike the neighboring DC where capes were abundant for both men and women. But if they were being offered for free, she wouldn't refuse.

For this, she deliberately praised the other party a bit. The old king wasn't enchanted by her charm, so Daisy tried to offer a suggestion, "Perhaps Wakanda can take a few steps, such as gaining international recognition first, and then gradually releasing some information to attract friendly leaders from other countries to visit."

She had already thought of the friendly leader, it was Obama! But his official identity was a retired colonel, so he couldn't appear in such an occasion.

The old king's eyes lit up. This approach was quite feasible and seemed to align with some of his own thoughts. He didn't know that Daisy had found this idea from her memories; it was originally the old king's own idea. He increasingly felt that the world outside was full of talent, while Wakanda remained closed off and secluded, and would eventually be eliminated.

The other side gave her Heart-Shaped Herb and a Vibranium wristguard. Daisy thought she should express something in return. She solemnly promised to help mediate and at least make the higher-ups aware of the existence of Wakanda.

The old king felt her sincerity and gave her a war rhinoceros from the Border Tribe as a gift for those foreign leaders.

Daisy looked at this massive creature, over two meters tall and weighing several tons, in astonishment.

"This...?"

"Give it to our African brothers. The number of rhinos on the grasslands is decreasing nowadays." The old king said affectionately.

Daisy was speechless. This old man was quite cunning. He sensed Daisy's interest in Vibranium, but instead of mentioning Vibranium, he brought out a rhinoceros.

This made her not even know where to start with her corruption...

Moreover, this creature obviously had an enormous appetite. Setting aside whether it could be kept in New York, just its daily food consumption could bankrupt her. If Daisy didn't want to go bankrupt, she could only give it to those powerful "African brothers."

Patting the creature's head, the rhinoceros had already been tamed and was very docile. It glanced at Daisy with its small eyes and then ignored her.

She turned around and found that there was a panther lying on the back of the rhinoceros.

"Forget about the rhino, but what about this panther… Oh, I understand now. You can temporarily stay with me." She hadn't even finished asking when she felt a message at the level of consciousness. It was transmitted by the panther Goddess to her.

The other side had chosen the so-called most beautiful and intelligent panther in Wakanda to star in a movie!

This panther was quite extraordinary. It was essentially a projection of the goddess in the material world. Concealing and assassinating enemies were child's play for it. It could even change its size, growing larger or smaller.

"It's truly enviable that you have the favor of a goddess." The old king said with heartfelt emotion.

The old man was quite cautious. After saying some polite words, he feigned a weak appearance.

Daisy understood the situation and bid her farewell.

In reality, she was quite envious of Wakanda's holographic imaging technology. Not only could it be used for communication, but it could also serve as a personal terminal.

Unfortunately, the devices required Vibranium to function, and Wakanda's technological tree was different from the outside world's. Taking it outside wouldn't be of much use.

Their relationship hadn't reached the point of exchanging technology, and Daisy considered it all. This trip to Wakanda had already been squeezed for all it was worth, so she could only leave it at that.
