2nd Movie

Osborn wants to know whether it was S.H.I.E.L.D supporting him or a faction within S.H.I.E.L.D.

Daisy remained composed, showing no emotional expression. "I represent Skye Data and support your campaign."

Hearing that it was an individual's support, Osborn felt a bit disappointed, but he had prepared several plans and arguments for this meeting, and Daisy's words were somewhat within his expectations.

A global espionage organisation wouldn't blatantly endorse his campaign; his reputation wasn't at that level yet.

"Thank you for your support. If you have any suggestions for my campaign, feel free to bring them up. I invite Skye Data to join my advisory team." Osborn, lacking qualifications, gladly accepted anyone who leaned his way, and it didn't cost him much to use some well-crafted words.

The first meeting wasn't suitable for discussing more. They exchanged compliments for quite a while, but the core issue wasn't touched upon.

Daisy didn't have high expectations for Osborn; she was just trying to gain some prestige from him. They chatted about various things, avoiding the real matters. The meeting was pleasant, and Skye Data was now officially on the Democratic Party's bandwagon.

If Osborn's campaign succeeded, both Skye Data and Daisy herself would receive unimaginable benefits. If it failed, they would fall into obscurity.

She was somewhat confident in the outcome. Her memory was one factor, and her possession of big data was another. She could strategically advertise for either Osborn or Kingpin, securing their victory.

Presidential power was considerable, not too big, not too small. It would be wise to make connections early and climb the ladder, which would benefit her in the future.

Daisy's entry into the Democratic Party's camp wasn't a secret in the eyes of the public. Democratic Party members within S.H.I.E.L.D's neutral faction had already shown goodwill towards her. Despite Victoria Hand's suppression, she managed to push through a few resolutions.

Amid power struggles and gains, Daisy hadn't forgotten the mission to expose HYDRA.

Taking advantage of the sudden global surge in anti-Nazi sentiments and Victory in Europe Day commemorations, Daisy responded to the higher-ups call, engaging in patriotic propaganda and promoting the American spirit. She began preparing for the second film under Skye Pictures.

Several war movie ideas crossed her mind, but in the end, she settled on a film about redemption, redeeming everyone. Daisy spent a week writing the script for "Saving Private Ryan."

"Making another movie?" Fury was more relaxed this time. Looking at the theme – a story of eight soldiers rescuing one – as a veteran, he read through it carefully. From his perspective, he wouldn't send eight elite soldiers to rescue a private, but if he were in that soldier's shoes?

Nick Fury pondered this question repeatedly, realising that he didn't have an answer. But as a soldier, he was satisfied with the script! Even if it lost money, this type of film would score political points. He immediately approved a budget of a billion, with just one requirement – it must genuinely reflect S.H.I.E.L.D's spirit!

What was the S.H.I.E.L.D spirit, Daisy had no idea, but she found another opportunity to "borrow" funds. Perhaps this was the S.H.I.E.L.D spirit?

She need an estimated budget of 100 million and she could "save" around 30 million. Coupled with a share of the box office earnings later on, making a movie is actually more profitable than working with big data.

At Skye Pictures, Daisy held a small-scale planning meeting.

Coulson was currently occupied, playing with penguins in Antarctica. He couldn't direct this time, and his level was more on par with that of a TV show director.

Fortunately, Stark's hefty bodyguard, Happy, had strong directing talents. The grander the scene, the better he could control it. He was the type of bodyguard who excelled in filmmaking.

For this shoot with extensive war scenes, he was the director.

"Saving Private Ryan" was a typical male-centered drama, not requiring any female actors. The available actors at Daisy's disposal were clearly insufficient.

Aside from her regular male lead, Mr. Grant Ward, playing the unfortunate Private Ryan who lost three brothers, she needed a veteran actor to help carry the whole movie.

For this purpose, she invited Mr. Ward's foster father, former agent John Garrett. She planned for him to play the male lead, Captain Miller, Ryan's mentor, who detested war and valued life.

It wasn't surprising to John Garrett that Daisy wanted to make a movie. One thing always led to another, and S.H.I.E.L.D agents were already used to

As John Garrett's pace of script reading slowed down, Daisy couldn't discern his thoughts from his facial expressions. She hoped the script might strike a chord with him.

Agents weren't like those hero or villains who could easily turn evil after a slight stimulation. They had resilient personalities, a mature and comprehensive understanding of themselves and the world. They wouldn't be easily swayed. However, subtle influences could change one's perspective. Perhaps while playing their roles in the movie, they'd gradually develop different insights.

HYDRA wasn't a monolithic entity; just like S.H.I.E.L.D, there were factions.

Leaning on S.H.I.E.L.D., Director Pierce had naturally amassed substantial wealth.

John Garrett, on the other hand, was a field agent, albeit high-ranking; he was still financially strapped.

This man, with lofty aspirations but thin finances, wanted to secretly establish a lab, conduct genetic research, and extend his own life. Unfortunately, he had numerous ideas but an empty wallet. Just by looking at the old Yashida, one could tell that genetic experiments require a lot of money.

Even Yashida barely managed to sustain his own foundation. And John's decades of accumulated savings as an agents barely made a ripple when thown into it.

The script held some appeal for him, and the potential box office share agreement with Daisy made him intrigued.

After securing a box office share agreement for Ward as well, he represented both of them and expressed their willingness to participate.

After all, it was just making a movie. A war film? As someone who had lived and fought on battlefields all his life, he didn't think it was difficult.

The remaining less significant roles were filled by agents Daisy suspected of being HYDRA or agents who were somewhat reminiscent of HYDRA. With holidays and compensation involved, very few truly declined.

The production crew quickly came together. Comprising purely of agents, the standard training for actors before shooting war scenes was waived. They changed into appropriate costumes, becoming World War II soldiers.

Daisy visited the set every few days, spending the rest of her time studying and researching. In an effort to cure Punisher, she had discussed the matter with Dr.Pym several times and consulted with Stephen Strange, who wasn't yet known as Doctor Strange. The outcomes were less than optimistic, leaving her with no choice but to temporarily shelve the issue.

She would wait until her own powers advanced further or until Phantom Cat's abilities awakened before revisiting the treatment.

One week later, in the evening, she encountered Sharon Carter, who had been rarely seen at S.H.I.E.L.D lately due to her proximity to Peggy Carter.

"Long time no see. How about a dinner together tonight?" The blonde beauty extended an invitation to her.
