Adam finally told his parents about the good news of his national quiz. His father was so pleased and agreed to send Adam to abroad and finished his studies over there

"Son, am so glad you're improving in your studies even outside school you're making us proud. I'm so proud of you dear."remarked Mr Smith cheerfully on the dinning table 

"Thanks dad!"replied Adam smiling face

"Finally he's doing well now." said Mrs Smith and was looking at him contemptuously and she continued "I think that school is good for him, sweetheart don't you think?"asked Mrs Smith scornfully

"Hmmm it's!" coughed Tina slyly and Adam raised his eyebrows, suspiciously at her and their eyes met "I'm not talking to you bro!" said Tina quickly and she continued eating her food

"Yes it's and you know what Son?"said Mr Smith suddenly 

"What's that Dad?"asked Adam, dropped his cutlery down gently and turned to his father eagerly

"I've agreed to send you to abroad for your college!"said Mr Smith corner of mouth rising and Tina was stunned on her seat, looking at her mom across the seat dumbfounded

"Really?"asked Adam eyes wide opened

"Yes dear!"replied Mr Smith cheerfully

Adam was very excited and he quickly got up from his chair and hugged his father fondly

 "Thanks dad. I love you!"said Adam huge smile across face

"I love you too and you're welcome!"replied his dad patting him on his shoulder and Adam left their presence rejoicing

"Are you sure of what you're doing sweetheart?"asked Mrs Smith red in the face

"He's our son and he deserves it?"replied Mr Smith indifferent

"Excuse me mom and dad," said Tina, unhappy with the news and she left the dinning table

"Okay dear!"both said unison

"What're you saying dear. Simply because he got awarded that doesn't guarantee him to travel to abroad for his college!" said Mrs Smith flared up

"Oh really!" said Mr Smith stunned at her reaction

"Yes dear,"replied Mrs Smith gently

"I don't know why you're not happy for him. It's obvious you're not happy Sandra!"said Mr Smith upset. Anytime he addresses his wife with her name it means trouble for her. Mrs Smith quickly replied with a gentle soothing voice and said to him

"Here you go again honey." she said silently "I like him too." she drew her hand closer to him " Am just telling you the reality that you need not to rush and do anything."replied Mrs Smith, half smiling

"He's has changed dear, can't you see. Please stop the argument, please."said Mr Smith softly

"Really?"said Mrs Smith bright red face

"I need to go to work now sweetheart please let's forget about it!"said Mr Smith and he pecked her gently on the cheek before leaving the dinning table.

"Let's watch and see if he'll go to abroad. Not when am still in this house, nonsense!"said Mrs Smith angrily immediately he left the house

The school finally announced the winners at the school auditorium.

"Wow, she scored first at the national quiz!" said one of the juniors eyes popping open

"That girl is brilliant though!"said second girl, clasping hands

"That's beauty with brain!"replied third girl laughing

Princess was walking pass by and heard the junior students gossiping among themselves

"Here comes the proud senior!"whispering first girl

"What're you girls discussing?"asked Princess hands on hips

"Nothing senior!"the three girls quickly left her presence

"I see, naughty girls!"said Princess jaws clenched and she caught sight of Adam passing by and she called quickly "Oh Adam!"said Princess smiling face

"Hi Princess!"replied Adam nonchalantly 

"Where are you going?"asked Princess softly

"I'm heading to library!"replied Adam nonchalantly

"Oh, that's where am going to!"lied Princess, smiling flirtatiously 

"Really?"asked Adam, stunned

"Yes Adam!"replied Charlotte rolling eyes

"Okay let's go!"said Adam

On their way going they met Olivia and Vivian heading to the school cafeteria and Princess started making fake glances with Adam suddenly

"Adam, do you remember the book I asked you to bring for me?"asked Princess acting up 

"Which book?"said Adam lost at her questions

"Adam,"said Vivian smiling face, facing Adam and Princess by the way

"Vivian! Charlotte!"replied Adam softly

"Adam! Am so glad you and Charlotte made it at the national quiz!"said Vivian smiling contemptuously at Princess

"Thanks Vivian!"replied Adam innocently

"Excuse us,"said Princess looking at them scornfully

Vivian and Charlotte looked at themselves astonished at Princess's maliciously attitude towards them

"Excuse you?"said Vivian raised her eyebrow at her questioning

"Adam please let's go before it gets crowded!"replied Princess indifferently

"Where are you going Adam?"said Vivian looking for trouble

"It's none of your business Vivian!"replied Princess instantly 

"Am not talking to you rude girl!"snapped Vivian 

"What me!"replied Princess red in face, and Vivian ignored her manners

"I'm going to the school library are you guys joining us!"said Adam suddenly

"No thanks Adam, we're going to the cafeteria, see you in class bye!"said Charlotte softly and they both walked away

"Okay bye girls!"replied Adam and turned to Princess

"What an annoying crab!"hissed Princess rudely

"What!"said Adam stunned

"Not you anyway!"replied Princess sweat on face

"You need to work on your anger issue Princess,"said Adam sternly 

"Oh really?"replied Princess annoyed 

"Yes aren't we classmates why the hate?"said Adam upset

"We're not friends, and I can't be friends with those girls I mean that poor girl!"replied Princess bright red face 

"Who're you talking about?"asked Adam innocently 

"Charlotte of course!"replied Princess irritated 

"Oh really I don't know you to be this shallow!"said Adam irritated and he started walking fast before he would allow her to reply him.

"Adam please wait. Am sorry!" replied Princess running after him breathlessly.
