Chapter 226 - Lullaby

The auction ended, Caelum stood up without wasting any moment yet made sure that his disciples were behind him. He was anxious ever since laying his eyes on the piece of paper that was far too familiar. It was just a piece of paper yet the aura and the scent of familiarity drew him in terrifying ways.

However, he did not show it on his face, remained indifferent and was only in deep thought the reason for the strange familiarity. Regardless, Caelum would gain the answers once he studied the piece of paper.

Everyone saw him leave his VIP and wondered what this item would make him pay a large sum of money. This made the fools prepare to steal the item for themselves, especially the Yun Lan Sect.

Ignoring the clairvoyance, Caelum headed to where he would pay for the item. He doubts that they would even be capable of using it or comprehending the content without their mind melting from the mental erosion.

It was a mere instinct that this item was capable of attacking anyone who tried to read its content similar to magic cube. The item was sentient with a wisp of will residing on it. 

'This piece of paper might belong to my former self.'

Caelum is now aware of his identity as an Outer god or rather Source race, Ycnágnnisssz. He was unsure what his former self appeared or if they had the same personality which he doubted.

Regardless, this item is extremely dangerous if a higher being were to find it. He finally arrived where Ya Fei was waiting, giving an alluring smile. She did not hide her curiosity knowing a young man capable of messing with the Yun Lan Sect.

Noticing her dangerous gaze, Lin Fei and Xue Mei quickly went to tightly squeeze their breast into their master's arms, unknowingly calming him down. Caelum rarely felt anxious therefore their chance was rare.

Ya Fei seeing their action made her want to tease them even more but she had to be professional.

"Here is the item, I hope our auction house was able to provide enough for young master~"

She spoke seductively, bowing showing her curves to him while her servant handed the item. Ya Fei knew that the young man did not hold any lust for her or he was great at hiding it.

Caelum smirks from her advance much to his two disciples displeasure. Both were pinching him but to no avail.  

"Be careful little girl~. if you keep teasing then you'll end up in an abyss."

He let her have a taste of his lust instantly making her shudder from the jolt of pleasure from his mere gaze. Ya Fei could helped but let moan escaped causing Caelum to smirk. 

'Still [Dao of lust] is far out of my reach.'

Among all the lesser Dao, the Dao of lust had yet to appear in Caelum. He was disappointed, similar to certain fanfic protagonists. 

"Young miss, are you alright?"

"Y-Yes, it's nothing to be concerned about."

She easily composed herself yet her eyes lace with lust staring at him. Caelum stopped his flirting and focused on the item that was calling him. 

He held out his hand to reach at the piece of paper that was unlike any paper he had ever seen even from the things he had used to paint. It felt rough yet smooth, flesh and metallic, an accumulation of texture that cannot be defined by single words alone.

"Forgive me for asking but does the young master know the item?"

Ya Fei noticed the change of demeanor from flirtatious man to sage-like expert. The item from what they knew was a curse object that causes anyone to try to comprehend its content and scream words that none are able to understand. 

"No….I don't think so."

Caelum observed the item seeing the decaying paper in his made him feel a sense of nostalgia. There is text written on it that was foreign and undecipherable. However, taking his time more into it was able to sense something. 

'What is this? A Lullaby?'

The sound of voice that seems to echo in countless places be it in parallel worlds or in past and present. It resounded a tune that was unlike any sound produced in any world.  

Caelum felt seeing the song with his voice yet maintained the temptation knowing it might cause an unforeseen incident.

He knew singing the song would activate his [Voice of authority] that came from after killing the word magic devil in black clover. Caelum stored the piece of paper into his clothes knowing it would unlikely be stored in his treasury.

"Here is the payment with the addition of two pills that would surely bring profit."

Caelum took out a spatial ring that contained money and pills that was capable of increasing people's cultivation. It was trash pills from his failed batch and would be a waste to throw it away.

"Thank you for doing business and hope this won't  be the last time we meet, young master~❤"

Ya Fei wink at Caelum who only nodded with a smirk before heading back to the alchemy guild. Along the way, he was able to bump into Yanran who was about to get her own item.

She gave a quick glance of caelum feeling fixated from his face and mysterious present. However, it was only split second before continuing her way to retrieve their item.

'That little curiosity…her fate was rather delicious.'

Caelum took her fate that was part of the world before doing the same as she did. Some time later, he went into his usual training place and took out the piece of paper from the auction.

It appeared to be nothing special beside its ancient look and mysterious text that was more akin to the scribble of a child than an actual alphabet. 

'I can't read it….this thing is unlike the sutra and anything I know of.'

He felt a dead end after only spending a few seconds with the item. However, the more he looked into the piece of paper, the more he understood the content. 

The sound of Lullaby was once again heard containing more tunes and accompanied by what seemed to be flute. Caelum unconsciously began to copy the rhymes of the sound.

It was spoken in tongue that was nothing more than gibberish yet the meaning could be felt. Caelum understood it was a lullaby that foretold the world to blind person, unaware of the reality it lived in. The one seeing was Deaf yet was able to see the world only describing the world with melody.

Caelum began to feel every aspect of his body was in tune growing slowly. He felt his soul grow stronger and avatar form. The circulation of his energy flowed into his body like a stream of water.

His bone, flesh, muscles and blood tempered by the mere tune of the piece of paper. 

'This…'

With booming sound Caelum felt his immortal physique break through reaching the peak of Grand completion in an instant. He did not expect the item to cause him to grow stronger in a small amount of time.

It had opened the door to finally become an Empyrean God as his Four ratio immortal physique was complete. The only thing he needed to do was unlike the Myriad Karma wheel before creating the Divine Body made of the Lesser Dao. 

Unlike normal cultivators, Caelum would consume every Lesser Dao into his body to produce a more powerful one. He had no limit compared to those cultivators thanks to his wish and [essence of compatibility].

 Caelum took a deep breath then finally tasted something from his cheek.

'Is this my blood?'

Caelum caressed his cheek to find blood flowing from his eyes like tears. He had not realized it but this was the emotion that was deep within him. The slumbering echo of Ycnágnnisssz who was disturb by the sound of its tune.

He had not expected this even with his Omniscience growing after the sound was heard. Caelum only wiped the tears from his face and began to test the physique. Moments later, he began to train his body to better control and use the physique before beginning to cultivate his Asura Sutra.

Caelum was close to gaining the Myriad Karma Wheel and gathered more Grandmist Source Qi into his Avatar that had become more defined, appearing similar to his Nascent soul.
