Chapter 9: Meeting and <Saber>

Rin came first.

Shirou was just listening to us and nodding his head.

She calmed down a little bit but still not much. She had a sad expression in her eyes.

Rin in my lap also had a somewhat sad expression... I hugged her to calm her down. Then I continued to explain.

Kyomu: "The <Holy Grail> was able to grant your wishes up until the second Holy Grail War. However since the third grail war. It has been corrupted. Any wish you try to get granted will only come in the form of destruction. How it got corrupted... I don't really need to explain this, and it doesn't matter." I said with a grave voice.

Kyomu: "Saber, do you love your knights, your people?" I asked her while looking at her eyes.

Saber started crying and said.

Saber: "That's why I need to fix it!!! I don't want them to suffer!!! " She said sobbing and crying her heart out.

Kyomu: "You are wrong, Saber. You don't have to fix anything... You made a lot of mistakes! Only your mistakes!! If you didn't make them, maybe the future would be different, but you did..." I said while shouting in her face, without any feelings.

Kyomu: "But you know what, Saber?... Everyone make mistakes... A commoner makes mistakes, a noble make mistakes, a knight make mistakes, A KING MAKES MISTAKES! And... even gods make mistakes." I said while shouting my heart out.

She looked at me with her eyes filled with tears, I began to imagine the pain she feels... I would love to be able to <Devour> your pain... But even if I can... You need to feel it... And learn from it...

Kyomu: "Saber, do you think that your knights and people didn't think that you can make mistakes?" I asked her, and hugged her tenderly.

She began to tremble.
