Chapter 34 Golden Dawn

Golden Dawn was the name of an organization founded by Drav. Perhaps he chose that name due to one of his favorite anime series and light novels that revolved around magic and esper themes, which is 'Toaru majutsu no Index'. He picked the name because it was the strongest magician organization in that series.

The organization consisted of Drav as its founder and supreme lord, along with members hailing from different parts of the country. These members were blessed with super genius intelligence and incredible strength that grew as they trained hard.

While the organization's influence hadn't yet spread significantly worldwide, within just one week, its members infiltrated various organizations and kingdoms. For instance, some became treasurers of nations thanks to their mathematical skills.

Others began to make a name for themselves, like becoming successful merchants or inventors, all due to their extraordinary genius.

Perhaps within a month, the Golden Dawn organization's impact and influence would become evident across the world.

This also prompted Drav to consider that had his organization existed in the previous era, they might have been able to defeat the Honkai. This was due to the numerous individuals whose brilliance was on par with, or even exceeded, that of Dr. MEI and Mebius.

"I wonder how Jean is doing now," Drav muttered to himself, then decided to go out and find her.

"Are you leaving, Drav?" Jyahnar asked. After all, it had been a few days since they both had not gone out to eliminate Honkai beasts.

"Yes, are you coming along?" Jyahnar nodded in response, and they both left the manor.

"Where are we going now? We're not going to hunt Honkai beasts again, right?" Jyahnar asked, her expression furrowed with displeasure. It's understandable, given that she's been engaged in the task of slaying Honkai beasts every hour for an entire week without pause.

Drav chuckled at her expression and replied, "Don't worry, our goal isn't that. I'm looking for someone now."

"Someone?" Doubt appeared on Jyahnar's face; it seemed Drav was searching for someone unfamiliar.

They continued walking until they reached the barracks, where Valkyries and knights gathered. Jyahnar's expression soured, as this was the place she visited frequently during that one-week cleaning of the horde.

Although she was puzzled by why Drav brought her here, she restrained herself, remembering that Drav had mentioned he was here only to find someone.

Seeing Drav and Jyahnar's arrival, all the knights and Valkyries stood up, greeting them with respect and admiration.

Drav and Jyahnar nodded in response, and one Valkyrie with a high position approached them cautiously, asking, "Can I help you? Mr. Drav and Ms. Jyahnar?"

"I'm here looking for two girls named Jean and Barbara. Are they here?" The Valkyrie appeared surprised to hear that.

"Oh, I didn't expect you wanted to meet the two newly famous Almighty Captain and Saint Pharmacists," intrigued, Drav inquired further.

"Almighty Captain and Saint Pharmacist are honorary titles bestowed upon the prodigy sisters Jean and Barbara due to their remarkable achievements!"

"Just a week ago, these girls were mere wanderers, but I don't know what opportunity they got that made them change drastically for both of them since then," she sighed enviously.

She continued, "First, Captain Jean easily defeated veteran Valkyries when she first joined, and she can now effortlessly slay all Honkai hordes without getting hurt, which led to her being promoted to captain. It's worth mentioning that she can master any martial arts within a few hours."

"As for Barbara, somehow she started reading and absorbing all medical knowledge books in the library, thanks to her sister's status as captain."

"In the next day, Barbara discovered and created an array of effective medical remedies. She also possesses the remarkable ability to heal any injury as long as the person is alive. Furthermore, she established a pharmacy that offers affordable medicines, bestowing upon her the distinguished title of 'Saint Pharmacist'." The Valkyrie's eyes radiated with admiration as she conveyed this, for there was hardly anyone who wouldn't be awestruck by the sisters' swift accomplishments.

Drav nodded in understanding; after all, they were both already super geniuses, so it was normal for them to achieve exaggerated feats in the eyes of ordinary people.

Unconsciously, the three of them reached their destination while listening to the explanation. There, they saw Jean instructing Valkyries in martial arts.

"I'll take my leave for now," after the Valkyrie departed, Drav and Jyahnar walked toward the focused Jean.

"Jean," Jean was startled upon hearing the familiar voice, her body tensed automatically. Turning her head, she saw the familiar face.

"My Lord!!!" She knelt instantly, leaving her subordinates stunned; they had never seen their powerful young Captain show such respect to anyone.

Seeing who the person capable of making their captain kneel was, they all felt relieved and understood, after all, Drav and Jyahnar were renowned heroes and saviors in the eyes of all.

It made sense for Jean to show them respect. Yet, they couldn't quite grasp why their captain held such deep reverence that she knelt before them.

"Jean, please stand up. I'm uncomfortable if you kneel for me in public now," Drav's lips twitched as he observed the odd looks from the people around them.

"My Lord, is there an order for me now?" Jean whispered, and Jyahnar heard it, causing her to stare at Drav questioningly.

Drav shook his head and said, "No, I'm here just to see how the two of you are doing." They all then entered a private room designated for Captain Jean.

"Thank you, my Lord. Barbara and I are living comfortably now and no longer endure hardships as before," Jean smiled. Meeting Drav was the luckiest event in her life.

"By the way, how's the organization now? Have you started recruiting others?"

"Well, my Lord, I've already recruited a capable individual for our organization, and I've enlisted around 4 people," Jean then handed Drav some documents from his desk.

Opening the documents, he saw faces and names that were familiar to him, it was a character from the Genshin Impact universe.

However, Drav no longer found it strange to encounter Genshin Impact characters in this universe. After all, he had noticed that all the members he recruited abroad were characters from Genshin Impact.

"Let's see... Diluc, Lisa, Eula, and Rosaria. Good job! Your decision to recruit them is the right one," Drav smiled at Jean, filling her with pride and joy. After all, She had completed the mission given by the Lord and received his praise.

As the first member, Jean possesses a privilege that can transform those she recruits to be more like herself. Of course, not just anyone can be recruited, as the Great Sage's system checks every person for compatible personalities suitable for recruitment.

"By the way, it seems you've been quite busy lately?" Drav's words were truthful; anyone could tell from the stack of documents piled on Jean's desk.

"Ah, I managed to finish all of that, thanks to your Lord's blessing! Without it, I would have struggled and been overwhelmed by all those documents," Jean once again expressed her gratitude to Drav, her confidence in her intelligence now evident by how quickly she managed to complete the tasks.

"Drav... could you explain all of this to me?" Jyahnar stared at Drav with a trace of jealousy, uncomfortable with the notion that there might be things Drav was keeping secret from her.

"Well, I ..." Following that, Drav elaborated on everything, from his desire to establish an organization to the recruitment of subordinates all over the world. Jean, upon hearing this, was slightly surprised. She hadn't expected Drav to recruit members globally.

Naturally, this made her resolute and determined to accomplish all missions assigned by Drav to the best of her ability, aiming to earn high regard from Drav among all the members of the organization.

"Right! How has your power now?"

"My strength has grown tenfold stronger in just a week, all thanks to the talent that Lord granted me," Drav nodded in satisfaction. The astonishing development of his members reassured him in this perilous world.

"So, what kind of magic have you mastered now?"

Magic is a new power system with boundless potential that Drav created for all members. However, this magic wasn't derived from the worlds he had previously visited, such as 'The Second Coming of Gluttony' or 'Nasuverse'.

It was a completely fresh power system he had fashioned in collaboration with the Great Sage. But, Even Rimuru, who possessed the Great Sage, couldn't have created it, as it was an embodiment of Drav's 'Transcendent' power.

For this power system, he utilized the foundation of living beings' bodies and souls as generators of magical energy.

This magical energy could accomplish anything based on the user's imagination. Of course, magic formulated with specific patterns, theories, or even mantras consumed less magical energy than employing direct imagination.

Furthermore, this system didn't entail side effects; instead, it offered highly beneficial advantages. The stronger the user became within this power system, the longer their lifespan or even immortality.

In a normal world, Jean's displayed powers could label her as a witch, but with the existence of stigmata in this world, people assumed that was the source of her strength.

"I'm particularly adept at wind magic compared to others. I'm not sure why my affinity is so strong compared to the rest."

"I see, wind magic, is it? Is this perhaps fate or just coincidence?" Drav's musings left the two girls puzzled, particularly as they weren't aware of Jean's variations in Teyvat.

"Well then, I must take my leave to visit Barbara. Do you know where she is?" After Jean shared Barbara's usual whereabouts, Drav and Jyahnar set off, but halfway there, Drav suddenly stopped.

"Ah, yes, there will be a meeting tonight, and it will take place in the dream" Drav left, leaving Jean slightly bewildered by his statement.

Entering the room for wounded patients, the air was filled with the scent of herbs and medicines, mingled with the faint tang of iron originating from the blood of the injured Valkyries and Knights.

"Victoria, quickly bring me the herbs and painkillers! And don't forget to bring plenty of bandages!" Barbara shouted, her focus centered on treating the injured patients.

"Yes, Barbara-sama!"

"It seems I've arrived at an inopportune moment," observing Barbara deeply engrossed in her work, Drav felt hesitant to interrupt her, opting instead to wait until she had attended to all the patients.

As Drav and Jyahnar observed from the sidelines, Barbara concluded her treatment of the wounded patient before moving on to others in critical condition. This was where she deployed her healing magic.

A divine radiance illuminated Barbara's hand as she summoned her magic. Severe wounds and even severed limbs began regenerating and returning to their original state.

Though those present were accustomed to this spectacle, they couldn't help but sigh and marvel at the wonders Barbara wrought every time they saw it.

As for why she hadn't used magic to heal patients before, it was because her sister advised her against healing injured patients who weren't near death or amputation. Jean didn't want people to grow complacent in battles with the presence of Barbara's healing magic.

Thirty minutes later, all the patients were healed. Drav then approached Barbara and patted her shoulder. "Hey, Barbara."

Hearing the familiar voice, Barbara turned and was immediately shocked by the sight of his face. She promptly knelt and exclaimed, "My Lord!!!"

"Alright, get up."

"Is something amiss, My Lord?" Barbara inquired with respect, gazing at him with a sense of fervor. She hadn't anticipated that a divine figure like him would come to visit her.

"I'm here to inquire about both of your conditions, and I just visited Jean as well."

Barbara then proceeded to explain her own condition, also sharing details about her recent medical discoveries

—antibiotics, anesthesia, and modern bandages.

After finishing the conversation with Barbara and informing her about the upcoming meeting, Drav, and Jyahnar proceeded on their way.

During the journey, Drav pondered to himself. It seemed that with the technology created and discovered by his members, the threat of the Honkai would become more manageable.

However, he remained calm. He had confidence in the existence of his members. Even the most challenging Honkai threats could be overcome through their super genius intelligence and the power system he had devised for all of them.
