16 Chapter 16 Training Kallen

"Bye-bye Father!" Kallen then grab Ottovia and ran outside.

"Hey, Wait for me!" Drav shouted before running and went to them. Both fathers shake their heads witnessing that, then they continue their serious conversation.

Drav chased them before he stopped when he realized Kallen lead them into Ottovia's courtyard, then she began to play with Ottovia.

Drav just sat there and watches the two girls play together, feeling kinda bored he daydream when he suddenly had a great idea.

"Girls, Did you want to see a good scenery?" Drav asked which make the two girls interested.

"Eh? Good scenery? Yes, yes, I want to see it!" Kallen who heard that nodded vigorously and it seems Ottovia was interested too.

Grinning slightly, he hugged the two girls which made the two girls startled and before the girls could react the scenery changed as he teleported.

The scene transformed from the courtyard into a snow-white expanse, an icy landscape that stretched as far as the eye could see. Countless ice formations and glaciers dotted the terrain, glistening under the ethereal light of the Aurora dancing above. It was a breathtaking sight, captivating the hearts of those who beheld it for the first time.

"It's so beautiful..." Kallen unconsciously murmured.

The girls were amazed and awestruck as they saw the beautiful scenery that was enough to be remembered for the rest of their life.

"Welcome to Antarctica!" Drav smile at them, making them woke from their stunned state.

"Hey-hey, is this for real?! I am not dreaming, am I?" Kallen shakes Drav's arms vigorously.

Drav shakes his head and answers "Of course not, you're awake right now, and this place was real and existed somewhere on Earth"

Kallen nodded while feeling wondering how on earth something this beautiful fantasy-like scenery existed somewhere.

"But teacher, if it existed on earth, why did we never know this place before?" Ottovia asked in her doubt which make Kallen nod in agreement with her.

Ottovia found it only natural to seek answers from Drav, knowing that Drav himself comprehended the vast influence of the Mandate of Heaven, an organization capable of exerting control and dominance over every nation except China, thanks to its formidable resources and powerful members. However, Ottovia couldn't help but have slight doubts regarding the legitimacy of a place that even the Mandate of Heaven seemed unaware of.

"The reason is that this place lies at the southernmost point of the planet, and the current state of civilization lacks the means to reach here. Without the protective barrier enveloping your body, you would likely succumb to freezing temperatures."

He proceeded to provide evidence by gradually weakening the protective barrier around their bodies, causing both girls to shiver. Kallen, benefiting from the resilient Kaslana bloodline, displayed greater endurance, while Ottovia, with her delicate constitution, struggled more. However, Drav swiftly restored the barrier before either of the girls could grow excessively cold.

Then Kallen excitedly grabbed Ottovia's hand and they took off running, their laughter echoing through the snowy landscape.

They soon engaged in a spirited game of snowball throwing, tossing icy projectiles back and forth, reveling in the thrill of the moment.

Before long, Drav couldn't resist the allure of the snowball fight and joined in. However, his participation came at a cost as Kallen's well-aimed snowball found its mark, smacking Drav square in the face. The unexpected hit only added to the merriment, resulting in laughter and playful camaraderie among the trio.

"Should we go to another place?" Drav asked and the two girls bonded again with their expectant eyes.

In the following hours, they embarked on a captivating journey, visiting numerous astonishing destinations across the globe.

They marveled at the majestic Angel Falls, where cascading waters tumbled down from great heights, creating a mesmerizing spectacle.

They stood in awe at the grandeur of the Iguazu Falls, its powerful currents plunging into a vibrant abyss of mist and rainbows.

Finally, they ventured to China's Tianzi Mountain, where ancient peaks pierced the heavens, offering breathtaking vistas of nature's magnificence. Each place left an indelible impression, deepening their appreciation for the wonders that Earth had to offer.

As they returned, the girls wore satisfied smiles on their faces, content with the memorable experiences they had just encountered. Suddenly, a realization dawned upon Kallen, and her eyes widened in astonishment as she blurted out, "Wait, Teacher, you can teleport?!"

Drav and Ottovia exchanged glances, their hands instinctively reaching up to cover their faces in disbelief. They couldn't help but feel dumbfounded by Kallen's sudden realization—or rather, the lack thereof. Ottovia had recognized Drav's teleportation abilities right from the start but had chosen to keep her observations to herself, trusting Drav implicitly and unquestioningly. The fact that Kallen had only just come to this realization left them momentarily speechless, wondering how it had eluded her until now.

"What, it's something wrong with me?" Kallen pouted while staring at the two with a suspicious glance.

"I'm sorry, Kallen," Ottovia replied, her voice tinged with regret. "I thought you had noticed Drav's teleportation abilities from the beginning and chose to keep it to yourself like what I do too" Ottovia's words hung in the air as Kallen stared at her, a disbelief appeared on her face.

"What?! Why did you not tell me sooner?"

"Like I just said, I just thought you realized too but held back as I do" Once again Ottovia facepalmed herself.

Seeing this situation, Drav couldn't help but burst into laughter, causing Kallen to stare at him in resentment. Wiping his tear from laughing and said "Alright, alright, enough. Why didn't we just keep my teleportation ability as our little secret, between the three of us?"

"Why should I?" Kallen snorted while averting her head, still feeling unhappy about the previous situation.

Drav's expression turned serious as he explained his reasoning. "Because my ability will get exploited by the adults if they know it, So, if you want to continue exploring the world together and ensure my safety, we need to keep it between us and not tell anyone else," Kallen who heard that realized the significance of situation which made her stared him intently.

Kallen's expression changed, and she appeared on the verge of tears. She tightly embraced Drav, her voice trembling as she spoke, "I'm just kidding, alright? I never want to hurt you, and I still want to play together with you."

Drav's heart melted and he was deeply touched by her words. He gently patted her back, soothing her and offering reassurance, all while aware of the jealous stare from Ottovia by his side.

Then, as if he had the great idea to change the atmosphere, he asks "Right, Kallen, you're from the Kaslana family right?" Kallen nodded while wiping her tears.

"I've heard that the Kaslana family is renowned for their exceptional strength and combat prowess. Each member possesses abilities that far surpass those of an average person, particularly the female members who are said to possess incredible power. It is even said that they can effortlessly defeat honkai beasts." Kallen and Ottovia exchanged curious glances, their eyes fixed on Drav, wondering why he had brought up this topic and what relevance it held to their current situation.

Drav beamed with pride as he confidently spoke, "You see, despite not appearing particularly strong, I possess enough power to effortlessly dispatch a significant number of honkai beasts without breaking a sweat." Ottovia gazed at him with admiration and awe, acknowledging his impressive abilities. In contrast, Kallen's expression displayed a mixture of doubt and skepticism, unsure if Drav's claims could truly be substantiated.

"Still not convinced? Then, witness this!" Drav took a light step onto the ground, and in the next instant, the earth beneath him began to crack and buckle as if a tremendous force was exerted upon it. The display of raw power left both Ottovia and Kallen wide-eyed, their slight doubt giving way to astonishment as they realized the true extent of Drav's formidable abilities.

"You're an amazing teacher!" Ottovia with awe and admiration eyes clapped her hands.

"So, how about it?" Drav asked, and Kallen nodded, feeling relieved he was powerful as even she couldn't do something like cracking the ground with a light step.

Drav strode confidently into the center, with Kallen following closely behind. They came to a halt, facing each other just a few meters apart. In unison, they exchanged a nod of mutual understanding, acknowledging the challenge ahead. Ottovia, brimming with excitement, exclaimed, "Begin!"

In the next moment, Kallen dashed toward him with Drav standing still with a relaxed smile on his face, and punch him in the stomach.

Bang!

As Kallen's fist hurtled towards him, it felt as if a truck were barreling his way. The impact was immense, akin to the force of a truck colliding with his small hand. Drav couldn't help but be amazed at the sheer power contained within Kallen's seemingly diminutive fist. Yet, despite the overwhelming force, he stood firm, not budging an inch. The display of his unwavering stability and resilience in the face of such power left both girls awestruck.

"Not enough! Again!" He shouted before once again Kallen attacked him with many combinations of attacks.

A kick aimed for his shin, yet Drav paid it no mind. As the impact came, he remained steadfast, unaffected by the attack, as if it were nothing more than a tickle. No matter the direction from which the attacks came, they proved futile against Drav's unwavering defense, leaving Kallen's efforts seemingly in vain.

Witnessing this, Kallen clenched her teeth, fueling her determination. She aimed a kick toward Drav's groin, hoping to catch him off guard. However, Drav, ever alert, caught her kick in mid-air, while wiping away a bead of cold sweat that had formed on his brow.

Indeed, despite the strength and resilience of Drav's entire body, it was a universal truth that no person, regardless of their physical fortitude, would willingly tolerate an attack on their groin. The very thought of such an assault could evoke a phantom pain, a sensation that instinctively caused discomfort and a protective reaction. Drav, like any man, involuntarily winced at the attempt, a reflexive response that highlighted the vulnerability of that particular area.

"You're really vicious!" Kallen sticks her tongue out in response.

Over the next 1 hour, Drav showcased his agility, endurance, and expertise in evading, withstanding, and even occasionally catching Kallen's relentless attacks. With each movement, he skillfully guided her in the art of combat, offering pointers and suggestions to enhance her skills.

Kallen's chest heaved with exertion, her breath coming in ragged gasps, as beads of sweat formed on her entire body, glistening like a fine mist. She resembled someone who had just taken a thorough drenching in perspiration. In contrast, Drav stood before her, his expression relaxed and sporting a serene smile, seemingly unaffected by the intense physical activity. Not a drop of sweat marred his composure, a testament to his exceptional endurance and control.

"Let's bring this session to a close. We can resume tomorrow," Drav suggested as he approached Kallen. Utilizing his magical abilities, he gently cast a spell to cleanse her body, removing the traces of sweat that had accumulated during their rigorous training.

The magic swept over Kallen, leaving her feeling refreshed and revitalized. It was a small gesture, but one that exemplified Drav's care and consideration for his disciple. With their session concluded, Kallen looked forward to the challenges and progress that awaited her in the days to come.

Upon their return to Ottovia's house, Drav and Kallen noticed the absence of Francis. It struck them as a testament to the level of trust he had placed in Drav, willingly leaving his daughter in the care of another.

This realization dawned upon Drav, allowing him to recognize the profound impact of his charisma and the genuine bonds he had formed with those around him. It was a moment of self-realization, as he grasped the extent of his own influence and the faith that others placed in him.

Fortunately, it was him. If it had been anyone else, Francis's daughter might have been in danger of abduction at that moment.

He thought so, but even he felt doubt is there someone out there who can kidnap a girl that could easily beat the adult man and have a punch comparable to getting hit by a truck?

"Do you have free time until dusk?" he asked Kallen, awaiting her response. She nodded in affirmation, indicating that she indeed had free time until dusk.

"Good. Then let me teach you many things," he smiled. In the next few hours, until dusk, he proceeded to instruct both Kallen and Ottovia as they studied under his guidance.
