9 Chapter 8-Overcoming The first Battle

And to the one who complained about the viewers naming the chapters, and that nobody cared enough to actually comment about it. I want to point out a few things. One someone has already named a couple of chapters showing some people care enough to post comments for this kind of stuff, so literally your wrong just starting from there. Secondly if you truly hate the story then you don't need to read it. There is plenty of other stories out there. Stop reading it to later chapters and then complaining because its trash. Unless your a Tsundere and you actually do like it but don't want to admit to that. Finally I try to stay interactive with the people the naming is just one of the way's I can interact with them. Sorry about my pointless rambling and back to the story.

Under the shade of a tree I finally got up after having a nap with Emblaze in our new Dojo. Deciding to get some water we slowly went inside and started looking down all the dark corridors for where the kitchen was. "Hey Emblaze are you hungry," I asked deciding to also grab something to eat if there was anything there. "Charrrr...Mander," the Poke'language translating to "Not really." "Oh you are," I asked in surprise thinking he said the opposite. So with a face palm from Emblaze we walked off towards the kitchen. "Charmander....Mander....Charr," the lizard screamed at itself internally (I wished that I had picked a smarter trainer.)

As I was about to walk into the kitchen area in the building I started to hear a noise. The sink was on at first, but then it shut off. Deciding to be cautious I signaled to Emblaze to be quiet as we entered the room. Getting the signal he hid the fire on his tail inside his hands behind his back. However, no matter how important stealth was. The tail would need oxygen to stay lit and keep him alive, so he left it open a bit allowing some light out.

It was in truth the best the lizard could do in it's situation. Sneaking slowly I cracked open the door and looked in, and to my surprise I saw a cat like creature that was able to float slightly off the ground. I knew it wasn't an Espurr so I started wondering what could it be. The Pokemon was Mostly Black with splotches of blue, and it appeared to have a large witch like hat on it's head. The hat at the tip of it also had what appeared to be an eye. At tip of the tail of the Creature there was another face, but this one appeared evil in nature. Almost Ghastly all things considered. Deciding to sneak up behind it and trying to get a drop on it I moved my hand for Emblaze to go first.

Seeing the quick movement of my hand the Orange lizard ran as fast as it could while still being as silent as it could. Slowly but surly he found his way up on it, until a second before he would pounce on while he was charging up a Scratch attack something changed. Hearing the obvious sound and noticing a bit of light the creature which was revealed to be a ghost like cat moved right in front of Emblaze. Seeing his situation he had no choice but to try and cut it in half. Unfortunately only one obvious result prevailed by attacking a ghost Pokemon with a normal type move; it reformed once more as a whole.

I recognized at that moment that it truly was a ghost type Pokemon. Pulling up my Pokedex I snapped a picture for it to record the Pokemon before it showed something weird. Unknown Pokemon Discovered Recording the Current image and sending to Professor Oak. In the same moment I got a text from the man saying to capture it if I could. Likely it was an automatic response but the voice had me smiling from ear to ear at the discovery of this new Pokemon. I shouted and jumped around out of glee. Focusing back on my situation I took a closer look on how the battle was going with a darker look.

"Emblaze it probably a ghost type," I instructed out loud. "That means scratch won't work as well as your leer. The only move that can work would be your Ember." Getting the final breakdown of battle Emblaze realized for the first time how grateful it was for its trainers training. If he hadn't of obtained Ember last time when they were training they would have been in a scary situation.

"Emblaze use Ember after you close in on it so it can't dodge as easily," I yelled. Sprinting as fast as the lizard could it made it halfway there when all of a sudden a visible Aura came out of the cat like Pokemon then it entered the ground and lifted a couple hundred small to large sized stones.

"Mysterious Power," I couldn't help but mumble out loud in a bit of awe at the current power being displayed. Getting back on focus I yelled at Emblaze "Use Scratch to cancel out the first couple of stones while charging up Ember to use immediately." This Idea came when I noticed how certain moves could be combined. My idea was why not charge one while using the other.

Sadly there's a reason this kind of thing even required Ash's Pokemon to train to do so. It was just physically hard to control your aura to do so and even if you succeeded without training. Your moves would probably both be weaker than their normal.

Listening to the commands he tried doing as I said but the stones were a bit to many for his scratch to take care of long enough. Getting knocked back Emblaze realized he needed to get rid of the Ember before it exploded inside him or over heated him. Shooting it out with a moderate amount of power I noticed in the corner of my eye that he had lost two Aura meaning he had shot of half a thousand embers.

Yet because of the small size they managed to only cancel out around ninety percent of the rocks that were left. This meant that once more Charmander experienced another beating. Sighing I finally figured something out. My Pokemon was new to the world while this one in front of me most likely wasn't. One had to survive without a trainer while mine had not. The Pokemon had better battle instincts.

Frowning slightly I prepared to get in there if necessary to save Emblaze or take a hit for it. Because if my partner went out of commission I would quickly follow. As Emblaze looked at me I gave him a reassuring smile turning my frown in a sense upside down. This left one message between us two. We Needed To Win!!! Or well we would die... I preferred winning.

In my heart with this deed needing to be completed I felt a change. I could now fully trust Emblaze and I knew he could trust me. We had become partners in all walks of life in this moment, or it was more accurate to say in battles. "Let's Go Charmander," I shouted as I got ready. Under my feet a glow was starting to be produced I felt a power I hadn't felt before enter me. I felt the nature of the power, one meant to heal my allies. Pointing my hands towards my partner I knew what to say.

"Heal my partner before my eyes become my warrior and stand up once more. As battle gets hard and lives may be lost we as partners shall not depart. listen here my enemies for my warriors shall not fall. Go Go and do not fail for this is our stand."

In response to my call the power left me completely exhausted while simultaneously fully healing Charmander in a matter of seconds. Standing up the lizard looked at me gratefully, after which it then turned in rage towards the Pokemon in front of him. At that moment he blasted off surpassing his limits in strength, speed, and Intelligence into the next stat.

Running and dodging any rock that was made in these moments Charmander finally found it's opponent close up. "Listen up you mangy cat," the lizard provoked " If you ever and I mean ever cause my Partner to worry about me you will not ever be so easily forgiven by me. Now taste my Ember," the lizard stated coldly, and so at Point blank a terrifying blast sent the Pokemon out the window fainting. Using the last of my strength I threw my Pokeball before passing out successfully catching the new Pokemon.
