14 Birth of The Solo Harvester
The shocking panorama that fiddled before the groups' eyes was unimaginable. With a single swipe of his weapon he instantly wiped out seven Horizon-type monsters.
'What's going on? Why are their monsters that are supposed to be lower than their normal level appearing within this Lair at a higher one?
I don't understand what's happening but let's just deal with the situation before me then I can dwell on that thought...'
Aimer was unfazed by the stunned group of Dwellers behind him.
'It seems there are more Kobolds coming. Then, lets give them that...'
Aimer who stood a few feet away from the group turned around before tossing them an item.
"Hey, Nobara! Catch!"
"Huh! Wait!"
*catches*
Upon catching the item thrown to him, Nobara realized what it was.
[Orkan's Whistle] (Rare)
"Use that to manipulate these monster species and I'll deal with the rest,"
Not only the group was surprised by the item Aimer had given them, but they were also astonished by his quick-witted leadership skills.
That aside, Nobara blew the whistle.
*ffwwwheeeeueeee*
The moment he did, the cluster of Kobolds that heard the whistle abruptly came to a stop. Their minds had now fallen under the control of [Orkan's Whistle].
Causing them to turn back, against the other monsters.
Realizing this, Aimer dashed ahead towards those said monsters with the cluster of Kobolds following behind.
'Good. That item did indeed come in handy. Luckily I didn't decide to get rid of it'
To give a better vision of the battle, it was as if two tsunamis came colliding into each other, with Aimer leading one side against the opposing one.
*ROARRR!*
*HARGHH!!*
Both sides of that tsunami roared at one another before crashing into one.
Aside from the Kobolds, the only monsters left were Ogres, Orcs and Gnolls.
'Hm? Let's get this over with quick'
*slish* *slash* *SCREEEECHHH!*
Aimer's Composite Sword slashed in a variety of orientations:
Vertical, slashing the Ogres up the middle; horizontal, slicing the Orcs in half leaving them topless and diagonal; dismembering the Gnolls with a slice from either of their upper shoulder to either of their lower waist.
*splish!* *splash*
Aimer's outfit became covered with the monsters goo.
'The Kobolds are really useful aren't they? They're able to use their numbers against these bigger monsters and overwhelm them'
*smiles*
Aimer glanced to his right and left when he noticed the manipulated Kobolds swarm the high monsters, ultimately bringing them to the floor where they slaughtered them with their reinforced fists or spikes clubs.
*bash* bash* bam* *bash*
The Kobolds murdered their fellow monster ally's on the floor ruthlessly by smashing their brains out. Or the latter, where they would bash in their torsos with their weapons.
'Yikes! Look at em go...'
Aimer was suprised to witness the savage nature of the Kobolds.
'Thanks to them I don't have to do much. Since their numbers overbear the other monsters'
Aimer then looked ahead of him after the Kobolds took the life of the last struggling monster, a Gnoll.
All that happening while the group behind him stood there in bafflement.
"Are you guys seeing what I'm seeing? One man, one man took down so many monsters. In addition to that, he had an item that manipulated a certain species of monsters. Wouldn't that make him a monster himself?"
Nobara wondered what the hell just happened before him while staring at Aimer's back in the far distance.
*gulp*
The entire group, though they were amazed they were also a bit scared.
Except for one, a girl who thought different of the masked man.
'So cool!'
"Hey guys! Let's go,"
After clearing the monsters on the first floor, Aimer noticed that at the end of the path was the stairs that led to the upper floor.
He quickly strode towards the stairs before ascending with the group behind.
'This whole time...they've been scared. I can feel it...my senses are tingly when reading their emotions. But why are they...'
'..!!'
Aimer suddenly stopped after breaching the second floor. This action cause the group to bump into one another.
*grrrr*
That's when that all noticed it, the reason why Remia stopped.
Crouched on the floor a few feet ahead of them, were a pack of Gnolls.
Instinctively, Aimer reacted before the Gnolls could. From behind his masked, Aimer wore the expression of a predator stalking its prey.
And emotionless gaze fell upon the Gnolls within his view.
*sighs*
*SWOOSH* Aimer released a whiff of hot air and launched towards the monsters at an unforeseeable speed.
*GARRGHH!*
The Gnolls became alerted to Aimer presence but they were far to late.
*slish*
With a horizontal swipe, Aimer decapitated the Gnoll that screeched at him.
Immediately after, Aimer spun 360 degrees and slashed the torsos of a few more Gnolls.
'This is just too easy. So easy that it makes me feel uneasy. Is something happening that I'm not aware of?'
*slish* *slash* *shick*
*ROARGHH* *GARRGHH!* *SCREECH*
Whilst in deep thinking, Aimer savagely dealt with the monsters with ease. The group of bystanders watched with either an awe or shocked expression.
'Oh god, I knew he was strong but this is just too much! Where did such a monster appear from.
He's very aware and calculative. In addition to that, he is also consistent with his strikes. Being able to strike the monsters at their weak point with perfect precision'
*gulp*
Nobara's countenance because sweaty, maybe in fear or intrigued but he never took his gaze away from the massacre before him.
'Too weak'

'Too slow'
*GARGGGHHH*
With every thought that emerged within Aimer's head a monster fell with it.
'Let's get this over with'
Hidden skill [Fire Elementalist] has been activated!
'Burn'
Aimer plundered his fist into the canvas below him, creating a tsunami of flames that rushed at the remaining monsters.
The approaching heat startled the monsters leaving them with only one portion.

Well, that was until the flames engulfed them.

The notifications flashed before Aimer as he gazed at the burning monster corpses.
'This skill is really powerful. Oh, look not only I leveled up it did too. Anyways, it doesn't seem like there's another floor to this Lair'
Aimer glanced away from the Windows to look on the path ahead of him. This time the only thing that could be seen was a dead end.
*turns*
Aimer now faced the group behind him.
"Is...is it over?"
"As you can see...yes it's over,"
Aimer responded calmly.
*sighs*
The entire group retracted from their tense condition after releasing a sigh of relief.
It was understandable that they were still stunned as to what transpired before them. A single Dweller clearing an Ascendant grade Entrance all by their lonesome. Something that they've never witnessed before.
"Anyways, I've notice something,"
Aimer suddenly broke the silence between himself and the group.
'Hm? W, what is it?"
Nobara was the first to look up at Aimer with a look of curiosity.
'I wonder....what could it be now?'
"You guys...you're all scared aren't you? I want to know, why is that?"
Nobara and his group froze in their position to Aimer's question. Their eyes all widened though it was slightly noticed.
Their head rushed with a variety of different thoughts as they stood their unable to answer Aimer.
Well, from the looks of it that's how it seemed. But I'm truth they were contemplating whether to say or not.
'This shouldn't be unexpected. I'm sure he noticed this throughout our short time together. But what is unexpected is how fast he did so. Should we really tell him everything that's happening? What difference would it make? No, let's just collect the drop items and get on with our merry way'
Just as Nobara was prepared to speak he was hit with a dreaded gut feeling.
"I apologize. It was very rude of me to ask such a question. Just so you know, I had my reason. Other than that, I'll be collecting the rewards and taking my leave.

Reacting to the groups reactions, Aimer quickly tried to change the mood of the situation. Towards the end of his speech he tossed a card at Nobara.
Nobara caught it and glanced down at it before looking back at Aimer.
"Hey wait! You can't do that! Anything but that! Not again...we can't go back empty handed again!!"
Nobara yelled at Remia in a pleading manner. While his fellow Dwellers all trembled with a saddened expression.
'Not again? What's that....? Let's see where this goes...'
"I've already said what I have to say,"
Skill [Fade] has been activated!
"Nooo! You bastardd!! GET BACK HERE!"
The now slightly enraged Cassie attempted to launch and grab at Aimer before he vanished but it was to no avail.
'Peace'
A resounding word carved its way into Cassie's head after the disappearance of Remia.
"Dammit! Quickly, search the floors for the drop items,"
Nobara instantly recuperated his thought before taking action. He instructed his frightened group who scattered between the current floor and the first one in search for the drop items.

...
Minutes had passed with the group being unable to locate a single item.
"F*CK! How, how is this possible! That damned man managed to secure all the items in one sweep. Impossible! FU*K!"
Nobara threw a fit similar to that of a two year old baby while concurrently beating his hands against the cave-like walls.
As for his group, they idly stood by watching him create a tantrum.
"Shit! Let's go,"
*Outside the Entrace*
Aimer had bypass the Agents and broadcasters with ease. With his skill in mind, of course Aimer wouldn't have a problem.
'I've gotten out in one peace. Due to this inventory I was able to carry every reward from within the Lair'

"You've completed the training! Congratulations on surviving the invasion!"

[Erase] - a skill which allows the user to erase the memories of others.
Aimer read the alerts.
'Hm? This is good. This skill might be very useful in the future. That aside, I should head home fast to sort out these monster cores and drop items'
And so Aimer traveled the course to his home.
*Aimer's Villa*
Almost an hour had passed when Aimer made it to the courtyard of his villa.
Skill [Fade] has been deactivated!
He quickly lands before approaching the villa's foyer.
*Opens*
Aimer entered the villa
"Oh, you're back early,"
Aimer was greeted by his mother who sat in the main room eating a bowl of popcorn.
"Ahh, yes! I am. You look so surprised,"
Aimer closed the door behind him and flashed his mother a flustered look.
"Yes, I didn't expect you to be back so soon after hearing your tone this morning,"
Though Anysia closed her eyes she gave Aimer a bright happy smile.
'Oh'
"Did I sound that persuading?"
Aimer stride towards his left to join his mother in the main room. He slowly sat down in a chair across from her.
"Yes, you sure did,"
Anysia nodded to Aimer who scratched the back of his head with an awkward smile.
"So, what are you have planned for the rest of the evening,"
Anysia tilted her head and gave Aimer a concerning look. Aimer glanced at the clock on the wall ahead of him.
'It's only 5 p.m.'
"Well, I might call it night,"
Aimer glanced back at his mother.
"Oh? You don't want anything to eat?"
"No, not really. I'm just tired right now so I'll head in first,"
Aimer pounces from his seated position, then waved at his mother before ascending the stairs to head to his quarters.
'Oh boy, look at him'
Aimer's mother smiled at his back before he disappeared upstairs.
In a matter of seconds, Aimer made it to his quarters and entered unhurriedly. He then tossed himself to the bed after releasing a big sigh.
'I don't feel tired at all. I wonder why's that?'
Aimer suddenly shook his head and that thought shook with it.
'Never mind that, let's check out the items I've received'

Aimer remembered back to his first invasion when he killed a total of two hundred and forty-seven monsters.

Aimer reviewed his selected items to keep over again.
'That's, that! But there's something that I'm just noticing now. It's that I hardly get hurt during my battles. Is it because of the [Sharkanha's Mark] abilities. Yeah, the healing factors! Maybe I'll have to figure that out at a later date'
After gazing at ceiling for such a long time, Aimer closed his eyes and drifted away.
