Chapter 1: Grandpa Chu.

I was just a regular farmer, who learned all sorts of things from an elder at the end of a hill.

The berserker's forest was huge. It was a 2-star monsters forest. There was a regular 10 thousand death rate there every year and anyone who went in would be dead.

Zhang Xui was confident and was just looking around.

Zhang Xui was already used to going to the forest as his master always went in but this time he was just alone and did not have his master.

'That should be enough as my first familiar.' Zhang Xui started to sneak around the trees to find an opening.

The Thunder Flash Golden-Winged Lion notice Zhang Xui and attacked the tree where he was at.

'He found me.' Zhang Xui jumped away from the tree and was barely able to survive.

"Secret art [ Thread of a Hundred Sky ]" Zhang Xui moved like the wind and entangled the berserker.

The strings came out of his hand and sealed the movements of the Thunder Flash Golden-Winged Lion.

"Now, be my familiar or you know what." Zhang Xui made a killing sign on his neck.

'Lions are mostly alpha. I hope he obey's.' Zhang Xui was not sure if this would work as this was his first time trying to tame a monster.

"*Roar*" The beast roared out loud breaking the threads.

"Did you think that was the only attack I prepared?"

Zhang Xui's hands started to move again like the sky and string raped around the trees.

The trees fell down creating a wooden cell around the berserker.

Zhang Xui jumped in the air and swung the axe down the berserker's head.

A flame came out of the Thunder Flash Golden-Winged Lion's mouth, burning everything to dust.

"[ A Hundred Lotus ]"

White Lotus started to bloom under the Thunder Flash Golden-Winged Lion paws.

The vines of the lotus started to entangle the berserker and lotus flowers started to bloom on the vines.

The life force of the Thunder Flash Golden-Winged Lion was being absorbed by the lotus vines.

'This technique can even entangle a Saint realm. This should work.' Zhang Xui was confident and did not back down.

The vines were being burned but not to the extent where they could not regenerate.

The Thunder Flash Golden-Winged Lion gave in and knelt on the ground.

Once a berserker knelt down, then that means, that you have completely made them obey and have a 50-50 chance that the berserker will be loyal or will betray you.

Zhang Xui went to the Thunder Flash Golden-Winged Lion and patted its head.

'Thank God the formation worked.' Zhang Xui was eternally happy.

The [ Hundred Lotus ] usually will not work on a fire-type berserker but

"Now let's make the master and familiar contract." Zhang Xui cut his right palm and the Thunder Flash Golden-Winged Lion drank Zhang Xui's blood.

"Go to that place big guy." Zhang Xui pointed at the barn as it nodded.

Once Zhang Xui finished telling his familiar where to sleep, eat, bathe, etc, he then started to go to a huge lake.

Zhang Xui's master Chu. Had a lot of property and owned over 10 mountains and a huge forest and lakes.

His master did not have a descendant and gave all his property, money, herbs, treasury, etc to his only disciple, Zhang Xui.

As they were walking to the lake Zhang Xui started to think of something.

'Grandpa Chu. Familiars are gone with grandpa and my familiars are the only ones left. I am afraid that even with all my familiars combined, I cannot control all the properties of grandpa Chu.' Zhang Cui might have a huge sum of money, land, etc but he does not have enough experience to be a proper adult.

As the both of them went to the lake they started to see the huge lake and all the familiars of Zhang Xui.
