Next morning, Nick was ready to work while Alice was still sleeping. He kissed her on her lips "my lazy girl". Nick felt sharp paint in his righer thigh as Alice pinched his.

"I am not lazy, I could not sleep last night"

"ah.. why ? too happy"

Alice chuckled "are you going to work now ?"

"mm.. it's already 7.30 I need to go" Nick kissed Alice once more before he headed to work.

Alice sat down on her bed. she still had a doubt about the fact that Nicks' parent had accepted her.

Although Mrs. Feng was againts their relationship, She never schemed her. Normally if the parents didn't like their kids parnert, they would ridiculed and put a lot of trap to seperate the couple. She was afraid that Nick covered up and lied to her about the approval. So, she wanted to confirm it by her self.

It was monday, normally his mum would be at home and his dad would only be on their family shop until 11. So, she had breakfast and got ready to visit his parents.

On the way there, She passed a cake shop, she bought his mum taro cake. she also remembered that his parents especially his dad loved chicken feet and xiao long bao so she went to one of yumcha restaurant and bought two serve of chicken feet and 4 serve of xiaolongbao.

Alice arrived at the Fengs house around lunch. Mrs Feng was very surprised"have you got your lunch ?".

"not yet aunty"

"lets have lunch first, dad is waiting on dining table"

Alice nodded, then she put the taro cake on fridge and served the chicken feet and xiaolong she brought on the dinning table. Mr Feng nodded and happily scooped the chicken feet, he hadn't had chicken feet for while.

"nice" Mr Feng was enjoing the chicken feet. Mrs Feng smiled as she watched her husband.

After the finished lunch, they went to living room and had some tea. Mr & Mrs Feng sat together where Alice sat infront of them. Mrs Feng looked at the ring on Alice left hand ring finger "I am glad it fit on your finger".

Mr Feng look at Alice finger then he smiled and pat his wife hand"my wife is the best" Mrs Feng blushed and slapped her husband arm lightly.

Alice smilled when she saw their action, so sweet.

"Aunty, uncle, do you really accept me to be part of this family ?"

"he chooses you" Mrs Feng replied

"But I was from bad family. My dad has a lot of women. He.."

"that's his problem not yours. " Mr Feng cut Alice.

"My mum is not either. she is materialistic woman, she had boyfriend but had affair with my dad because of money. people said fruit falls not far from its tree, don't you think I am same as her ?" Alice glanced at Mrs Feng nervously.

Mrs Feng frowned "if I give you a house and large amount of money, will you abandon my son?".

Alice was shocked and hung her head "do i have a choice I stay next to him ? I want to be with him. What is your condition for me to be with him?" She determined to do evertything to be with nick.

Mr Fengs took a deep breath

"I have a lot. Can you be faithfull to him, support him, love him, make him happy for the rest of your life?"

"yes, I will. of course I will" Alice was confident.

"are you sure ? is not easy" Mrs Feng said

"Definitely, Doesn't matter how difficult. I will definitely do it" Alice reassured them.

Mr & Mrs Feng smiled "then proved it, I hope you will not disappoint us".

"thank you Aunty" Alice was very joyfull, she rushed toward her mother in law and hugged her tightly and sobbing

Mrs Feng hugged Alice back and patted her back "silly, what are you crying for?"

When Mrs Feng hugged her, she was so happy. She could not remember her mum ever hugged her, she felt a warm sensation in her heart. that warmth was flow through her entire body, and it produced more warm liquid that came out from her eyes. she was crying.

"Silly girl, get up" Mrs Feng pulled her up.

Alice gigling, she swept her tears them smiled before she got up.

"By the way, you are my boy fiancee now. just call us mum and dad" Mr Feng added Alice happiness.

"thank you uncle"

"what did you call me again ?"

"thank you dad, mum"

Mr and Mrs Feng laughed then noded with satisfaction, then they asked Alice to sit down again.

"Hi Mum, dad. Why do you so happy ?" Cacha just came home when she heard her parents laughter.
