The Great Pretenders

The incident 5 years ago changed Alice view towards man and love. At that time, she had a boyfriend, his name is Andrew Han. Andrew dad was Alices' dad friends. His family ran a company and most of the jobs came from Alices' dad, Andrew just worked with his dad.

Andrew and his parents were very nice to her, they cared about her and loved her.

Well, at least that was what she thought at that time. Until one day, it was Andrew birthday. Alice tried to call him to celebrate his birthday for many times but he didn't pick up the phone. so, she decided to come to Andrew office and gave him a birthday surprise.

She arrived at Andrews company around 7 Pm. The reasan was she wanted to avoid any employees there, as Andrew asked her to kept their dating in secret to avoid any bad rumours since Andrews company depended on Alice dads.

She drove her car by her self and parked her car. She went there in hight spirit and was very delighted when she saw no body around. She went inside the building but kept her present in the car. she processed to the lift then pressed the button of the highest level. After got out from the lift, She giggled happily and walked quietly toward his office beause she wanted to surprise him. However, when She was about to press the door knob, she heard a conversation, a very cruel one that changed her live, her view about love.

"My son, What happen ? why your face like that ? are you unhappy ?" Alice recognised the voice. It was Mrs Han voice, Andrews' mum.

"mm. She called me so many time today. it's so annoying" Andrew complaining.

"Just hold on, you know very well that we are depend on our uncle NG for the business. I'll find the way for you to dump that unless girl without irritating her dad"

"but when mum ? when ? I am sick of her"

"Son, just hold on little while, it's for your dad and our family. I'll think a safe way for you to break up with her without compromising your dad position. or even we can take advantage from your break up. I fully understand that girl is not suitable for you, just like her mum a b***h".

Alice frozed, her body trembled as she was listening the conversation.

"Mum, want to date Suzie not in secret any more. I want to annouce to the world that we are in love"

Alice was shocked, her face was paled , her body was shaking uncomfortably.

She only realised that they all were pretender. They were a great pretender who played with her feeling for their own benefit. They were nice infront of her and her that but they called her b***h behind her.

And Suzie was her friend, her best friend. Andrew clearly absolutely knew about it. And Suzie, She was 100% knew that Andrew and her were dating.

how come, they betrayed her ? why ?

Heavy rain falling from her eyes, she overed her mouth. She had no strength to hear more so she ran as fast as she could. Those words that she heard, every single word felt like sharp knifes that stabbed her heart merciles, very really really paintful. Her world crambled, her heart scattered in to pieces, her mind was blank, she kept running without noticing direction, couldn't even remember that she parked her favourite car there.
