Silence companion

Nick eyes were fixed on his laptop but his mind kept thinking about the girl inside his bedroom. He was out of dazed when he heard bedroom door was opened, then Alice came out.

"Thank you" she thanked Nick then left the unit. Nock nodded, but kept watching Alice. Nick could see that Alice was not in good state, she looked lost.

he was worry, so he followed her.

He Walked few meter away from her quietly. He frowned as Alice didn't put any notice of her surrounding, She dumped onto few people and didn't apologised. She kept walking until she reached an intersection. The pedestrian sign was red and the traffic light was green, there were cars in high speed appoaching. But instead of waiting for the pedestrian sign to turn green, Alice kept walking with no intention to stop.

He grabbed she wrist in instance

"watch out! , what are you doing ? are you mad?"

"let me go, leave me alone. get lost" Alice pushed him way

" no reason for me to stay. no one want me , dad hates me, mum never want me since the beginning. she just use me for money" Alice was mumbling to her self with smile painted on her face but her smile was bitter than her tears.

He closed his eyes then he grabbed her wrist again and hugged her. Alice was struggling, the more she struggled the tighter he hugged her until finally she stopped struggling.

"lets go back" whispered Nick. He put his right hand on her right shoulder and his left hand holding her left hand then guided her back to his place.

His gentle voice hipnotised Alice. She could not control her legs, her mind said not to do it but her leg moved following his order.

When they arrived at Nick place, he let her sit on the coach. He sat next to her, put his hand on her head and brought to his chest and hold her head there using the same hand, while his other hand was around her waist. He did it in gentle manner, look like a father protected his own precious kid. Alice didn't struggled.

"let it out, don't hold it" his voice was gentle, but soft and warm.

Alice heard his word and suddently warm sensation arised from her heart and unconsciously her tears started flowing again. Nick didn't say anything, he just there hugging her and coaxing her in silence.

It might take an hour or two, before Nick noticed that there was no movement or soft cry sound from her . He finally released Alice from his embraced, she was felt asleep as she was mentally and physically exhausted. He chuckled softly before took her back to his bedroom and put her down on his bed then put a blanket on top of her. He looked at his wet t-shirt, it was drenched with her tears, and smiled , he didn't mind at all.

He brought a wet towel and clean Alice face gently. He stared at her, he bet she was on the age as Sasha. He could not help but to compare her with her sibling. His siblings and him had their parents love, care and protection, they lived happily holding each other warmth and care. But this girl, she was so pityful.

When he thought about what happen to her, His hand moved by it self. Without any command from his brain, He raised his arm closer to Alice face, his index finger touched Alice pale cheek, then moved to her thick and shaped beautifully eyebrows, continue along her high nose and end up on her red cherry lips. he felt an urge to look after and protect her
