"Here we are, Lets go to fruitshop first" He pointed a fruit shop with his head.

It was first time for Alice to shop on local fruit shop. The shop looked shabby to her.

" why do we shop here ?"Alice whispered

"much more cheaper and fresh"Nick whisper back.

Alice watched Nick choosing fruits and veggies, he was so proffesional.

"Apple, oranges, banana. Do you want any more fruit ?"

"I am fine with them, but Can we have more oranges ?"Alice loved oranges.

"sure" He put more oranges.

He chose cucumber, aand an iceberg lettuce "any veggie you like ?"

Alice shown him a bag of carrot on her hand. They went to the check out counter and Nick paid for it.

"next one is that supermarket " Nick directed the way as he past a paper to Alice" here is the shopping list".

she took it and read "when did you do it ?".

"last night"

"oh.." alice was amazed, He was very toughtfull. It was her first time doing a very organised shopping. Normaly, she went to shopping without any shopping list, hence she ended up buying unnessary things and forgot to buy the one that she needed the most.

Nick took a shopping cart and put the fruit and veggie plastics bag in.

They went to first Isle. He tapped her shoulder "check the list, what do we need in this isle ?".

Alice checked the list "bread, jam, peanut butter, chocolate spread"

They moved to next isle "here ?", "dishwahing liquid, hand soap, detergent, cloth softener".

Alice noticed that Nick picked one or two item that were not on the list.

She chuckled then took 2 bars of milk chocolate, 1 pack of Kit kat, 3 packs of potato chip. "what ?"She discovered that he was frown at her. "take big pack of chocolate and kitkat. The big one is on special, see the price not much different." Nick shook his

They went through every isle, and made sure all goods on the list were ticked.

By the time they finished shopping, It was lunch time. Nick carried six plastic bags while Alice only carried two

"Alice, are you hungry ?"

"mm" Alice nodded.

"ok..lets have pho.."

Alice followed Nick to a small vietnamese restaurant nearby.

Alice who used to go to expensive restaurant was dumpfounded. It was so small and for her it was not a pleasant place for dinning. But it was very busy one, there were a lot of people inside and 6 people outside included her was lining up.

A waitress came over "how many people, sir ?"

"two" Nick said. then the waitress signal them to follow her and pointed at the only empty table for two. Alice and Nick sat and put their shopping bag under need the table. Alice felt unconfortable as she sensed people glansed at her. She could sensed many eyes were glare at her since they were on the fruit shop, perhaps due to her appealing dress. she wished she wore more confortable cloths as Nick suggested.

it didn't take time, another waitress came to with the menu and complementary tea. They looked at the menu for few minutes. "are you ready to order ?" Nick asked and put his hand up signaling the waitress.

the waitress came with a small note book

"Can I have number 5 ?"

"raw beef and meat ball pho ?" the waitress confirming.

"yup". The waitress wrote down Nick order. "and you, miss ?"

"Number 6 please.

"raw beef and tripe pho?"

"mm"

Anything else ?

"1 three colour bean drink please and spring roll" Nick added.

" What is three colour bean ? is it yummy?" Alice asked Nick.

"Very yummy" the waitress answered.

Both of them dumpfounded, What a good waitress.

While waiting for the dishes to be served, Nick was texting on his phone while Alice was rubbing her foot. Nick noticed what Alice did. "Don't blame me, I told you, but you were ignorance".

"you should told me that we walked here" Alice pouted her lips. And they both fallen into an awkward silent.

Lucky, waitress coming with a plate of spring roll, followed by the pho's.

They digged in their lunch quitely.

After Nick finished his, he drank his three colour bean. "Do you want to try ?" as he notice Alice glanced at his drink for many time. "No thank" but her eyes said otherwise.

Nick grabbed a new straw the put in on the glass "try it". Alice took a small sip

" Yummy?" Alice nodded

"want more ?"

"No thanks" she ate 3 out 5 springroll and emptied her bowl, no single drop left.

Finally she knew that small and cheap restaurant could be much tastier than glamorous and expensive one.

Nick settled the bill after he finished his three colour bean, then they went back home.

when they left the restaurant, Alice was happy. However, her good mood was dropped dramatically as she walked along the street with the heavy shopping bag and blisters at the back of the foot.

She wished she was really Hermione.
