His departure

It was wednesday thursday night, Alice just came out from bathroom when he saw nick packing up his belonging.

"where are you going ?"

"home." he said coldly.

"home ? but you said you'll leave in nov. it's only october"

"My job finished. I want back soon."

"why didn't you tell me earlier ?"

"I texted you already"

Alice just remember she hadn't told him she changed her number.

She took her phone and tapped it few time before a ding sound came on his phone

"My new number. I changed it yesterday"

Nick just glanced at her coldly and left her without any word.

She chuckled she tought he just pretended as a unhappy kid throwing tantrum.

Friday morning, Nick took his luggage to living room before he headed to work.

"are you going now ?" She smiled to him she tought he was going for business trip.

"Sorry for disappointing you, My flight is Tomorrow night. But don't worry I won't bother you anymore" His sound was bitter, he tought she was happy he left as she couldn't wait to be with that old man

"I am being serious..don't kid me "Alice pouted.

"I am more serious than you" He glared at her.

"but you said it will be next month ? why all of suddent.."

"so, should I wait until you dump me ? until you and that man together ? If you want me to give you my blessing, I sincerely wish for your happiness now"

"Are you angry at me?" She was trembled

" No, I just disappointed with my self. My sister delayed her graduation because she want me to attend her big day. My parents miss me, my sisters, my family, my friends, All my beloved one. But what I did was wasting my time here, fighting for love that not belong to me" Nick expressed his agony at last.

" I've notified the real estate agent. they will send you new contract. We don't owe each other anymore"

Alice was shocked. She didn't belive him, no she didn't want to belive him. She called Tara to confirmed about Nick departure and it was true. She found out he submitted his transfer request on monday and approved the next second. His head office in country A was rejoiced,

the Executive had been asked him to come back since months, he delayed it with alot excuses. he did it for her, to give her time to prepare her self.

That night she waited for him until late but he didn't came back until she felt asleep.

Alice woke up late, she couldn't find him at home. She only sawhis luggage and handcarry were already in living room.

His room was empty and clean as if no one lived there.

Nick went out in the morning, he unconsciously went to place where he and Alice usually went. He felt nostalgic and also sad. on his way back, he met Mr and Mrs long, and some of the elder ,

"When are you going?"

"In few minutes. Please help me look after her" he bid them farewell. The elders were sad for him. He loved her so much , they just wonder why she was unmoved by him.

Nick came home, he saw Alice standing in front of him. He really wanted to hug her, kiss her and kidnapped her so she wpuld be with him. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, then He took his luggage, a hand luggage and back pack.

"good bye. I wish you find your happiness" He turned his body and walk out of their apartement. He felt a sharp pain in his heart, but he could do nothing aa the doctor didn't want to help him. He just hope time could heal it.

Alice froze. Until seconds ago,she convinced her self that he was just joking. But he did actually go, left her here alone.

She wanted to seized his bag to prevent him to go, she wanted to plea to him to stay . But her body just stayed still, she could not controlledher body to do what she want to do. It took ages for her to be able to control her body again. She run after him as fast as she could but she was too late. She saw him get into a taxi, then the taxi moved, it took him away .

Nick saw her from he cab wing mirror, he closed hid eyes and smilled bitterly.

she rushed back home, took her hand bag, changed her shoes then hired a cab to go the airport. But the traffic held her up.

Nick arrived at airport. He glanced to the entrance door as he was waiting for her to stop him. then He was laughing, he laughed at him self why he still hoped she changed her mind. He went to the check-in counter and line up. The queue was not too long, after 10 minutes it was his turned to come to the check-in counter. Once check-in done, he proceed to the immigration directly. Just before He stepped in to the immigration section, he didn't know why but his heart urged him to look back and glanced at the crowd. He followed his heart then he saw the familiar figure from far, the woman that he loved was there, he smiled and farewell her in his mind "good bye my love.. I really wish your happines".

Alice arrived at the airport. she looked at the check in notice board to looking for flight to city S country A. there were few of them.and she didn't know the time and the carrier either. So, she just checked the check-in isle one by one. She was in rush, she didn't care when she bump to other people.

Finally, She saw him. She found him, but it was to late. he was walking to the immigration section .

He was disappeared behind the wall, she wanted to call his name but her throat was dry, her mouth was glued.
