Her party

Listening to her mumble, Nick suddently understood why she behave oddly this afternoon. It was because of trauma for her past haunted her.

He held her shoulder and pulled her up the hugged her then he patted her back and caressed her head until she stopped her cry.

"Alright.. it'ok. I forgive you this time." he wiped her tears with his thumb.

"really ?"

"mm. go to sleep, it's late"

"no.." she pressed her self on him and hugged him.

"be good"

He tried to coax her but she disobeyed him. So other choise, Nick carried her to her room and lay her down to her bed. When he was about to leave her, she grabbed his hand and pleaded "please forgive me, don't leave me.."

"I am here. don't worry I won't leave you. I just go back to my room" He embraced her on her bed.

"No.. Please don't go.. Please"

"ok, I am here with you. I won't go anywhere".

He only planned to stayed until she fell a sleep but He unintentionally dozed in her bed.

Alice woke up late the next day, she was frightened. She dashed outside, looking for Nick.

"Darling, Nick.. Where are you ?" She half shouted. She opened his room with a bang but he was not there. She checked in the kitchen, he wasn't there either. She was trembled and wept.

"Alice, what is happening ? are you ok ?" Nick rushed out from the bathroom.

"Nick..." she clutched his waist tightly.

"I thought you were gone"

"I am here, I was in the bathroom. Lets have breakfast first. You didn't have any meal last night, right ?"

"Finish your breakfast and take shower. I'll take you somewhere"

This time she obeyed him. She finished her breakfast and had a good shower.

She wore tight black fitted jeans with simple maroon beeded knot front tee with long sleeve. While Nick wore a blue jeans with black long sleeve tee.

He was smiled then siezed her hand.

"where are we going ?, wait !" she put her black ankle boot.

They walked with holding each other hand

"Darling.. I am sorry.. I was wrong yesterday".

"I'll let you go this time. But, have faith on me, ok?" he wrapped his right hand on her right shoulder then She wrapped her left hand on his left waist.

they walked together silently but smiled was painted in their face.

He took her to local park where he had organised a BBQ party for her.

elders, few neighbour, the Mo family,

Tara and her boyfriend, Harry were already there.

" you are late" Harry glared at them while holding BBQ tong.

"The princess woke up late" Nick winked his eye.

ah and oh sound were echoing.

"bad boy, did you drain her last night ?"Mr white smacked his back.

"I didn't. She refused to let go of me. She forces me with her the whole night" He told the true.

"stop.. stop.. you don't need to tell us in detail, under age kids are here"Tara pointed at Dean and Dora, the Mo couple kids.

"we know what it is already"Mrs Long smiled cheekily.

"Young girl ..don't be shy "Mrs Mo winked at Alice when she noted Alice blush face.

Alice glared at Nick fiercely and slapped his arm

"what ? what's wrong ? that's true that last night you didn't want to to go, you were begging..."

Laughter was exploded, Nick dumpfounded. Finally, he realised that everyone imagination had turned wild and dirty. He joined harry and two other male neighbour doing the BBQ and let Alice dealt with the elders interogation.

he glared at harry who kept peeping on him with creepy grin then shook his head.

about 40 minutes later, different type of sausages, lamb cop, beef steak was cooked served on the table. Mud cake and cheese cake sliced nicely. Bread roll, salad, soft drink and beer also were also available.

"when did you arrange this?" Alicewas

"all of them help me" He winked at her.

the bench was too crowded, Nick chose to sit on a picnic rug under a tree.

Alice filled a plate with sausages and meat and ate them with Nick.

"Darling, thank you."

"what is my reward ?"

Alice looked around, she saw all them busy with the food, she smiled and gave Nick a quick peck.

"it's not enough. I also demand a compensation for yesterday plus the interest" Nick was serious.

Alice glanced at the crowd,.she made sure no one pay attention on them and she gave him another go, that turned to be pasionate one.

"ewww" Dora shouted loudly while her hands covering her little brother Dean eyes but her eyes were widely opened.

Her voice was loud enough to draw attention from surounding people.

"what happen ?" everyone were confused.

Dore lifted her pointing finger to certain direction where certain couple were snogging each other. They were cheering and whistling.

After the party was over, he took her to man-made lake in the middle of the park.

They sat next to each other for while, he pull a thin flat white box from his pocket and gave it to her.

Alice took and opened it, she was amazed.

It was a silver two hearts forever one necklace with their name engraved on.

" thank you" she said softly while Nick were helping her to putting it on her neck. That day, she gave her most valuable asset to him, her heart, affection, her love.
