Nick was not the only one that was in bad mood that day, Byron also had a bad one.

Today he just came back to his workplace after taking 10 days leave. His handsome face turned ugly and his usual sweet smiled were vanished. Everyone in his department were scare and concerned about him. It was the first time he acted like that. Not only his colleagues, his parents were also consent about his odd behaviour.

It was late in the afternoon, Byron entered chairman NG office to discuss about company matter with other executive.

"How is your break young man ?" Chairmam NG asked him.

"Hey, did any girl break your heart ? Look at your sour face" Patrick NG, Chairman NG eldest kid teased Byron. While the others giggled.

Byron didn't say anything, he just grinned sourly.

"Chairman, I went to N city" Byron told Chairman NG when everyone else had left the room and only both of them there. He didn't want anybody especially Patrick knew.

"Did you have a great time ?" Chairman NG took a deep breath.

"I went there to find Xinxin. I searched her there" Byron glanced at the oldman. Chairman NG eyes were darken. He was execited to know his daughter news.

"But I can not find her. She disappeared like smoke. One one knew where she is" Byron closed his eyes.

"I went to her condo but she is not there anymore. She was kicked out from there years ago" Byron stared at Chairman NG.

"She may accumulate alot of debt so they took it from her" Chairman NG smiled bitterly, he imagined how his useless daugther spent her fortune in stupid way.

"It was by court order which was signed by you" Byron pulled a copy from his folder and placed it in front of chairman NG "I managed to get the copy from one of my senior there'

"Bullshit, I never did it. I gave the condo to her. Apart from all her wrong doing She is still my flesh and blood, I won't do such a heartless thing" Chairman took the paper. He was shock that Byron was right.

The court order which dated nearly two and half years ago stated His daughter had to leave the condo within 10 days and signed by him

"It's imposible. I clearly gave it to her along with large sum of money" the oldman was trembled.

"Are you sure ?" Byron Frowned.

"Yes, I asked Secretary Huang to look after it"

"Did he trustworthy? Did you read what did you sign ?" Byron asked.

"I didn't read again, he worked with me for more than twenty five years." Chairman NG closed his eyes.

"Xinxin didn't have much friends there. I only can find two of them. I managed to meet them but they said they didn't see her for more than two years. I could not figure out which uni she studied or any other information about her. it really doesn't make sense" Byron rubbed this eyes to hide his frustration.

"Chairman. What is Xinxin official name ? it's a bit funny for me that I could not find Mary NG anywere there"

"Mary Lin ? Ask secretary Huang ! He looked after all Xinxin matter from the beginning" Chairman NG shook his head. He suddently felt uneasy.

"Chairman, do you think secretary hide something from us ?"

" I" Chairman NG suspected this may related to his sin in the past but he could not tell Byron or anyone. He didn't want to stain his image as one the famous public figure there.

"Help me to find out what happen to Xinxin, please. But do it quietly, don't let anyone know. Understand ?"

"Sure, trust me. I'm definitely be able to find her" Byron was joyfull that chairman NG trust him.

Liam NG second son of Chairman NG smiled bitterly. He was sorry for his half sister. They hardly saw each other, the only timd he met her was during family meeting. He remember that timid girl always hid on the corner watching their father with her tearly eyes. What she did was similar to him, both of them were longing of father lovm. He really wanted to confort her, but one time Xinxin was scared when he approached her.

"Xinxin. Where are you ? where ever you are I hope you live happily. I hope you have family that can give you love and care. Our one is the worst" He prayed inside this head.

Byron left Mr NG office with high determination to find her. He would show the world how much he cared about her, he wouldn't make old mistake again. While Mr Ng sat on his chair in daze. He was battling with him self to decide what action he had to take. His fatherly instinct told him to investigate and find out yhe truth about his daughter life.

However, his ego wanted him to just let the past in the past and wait until she come to find him.
