"Eldest sister, thank you do much for all the sweet" Sasha entered The couple room upstairs after dinner on the very evening they were back from honeymoon.

"I am glad you like them" Alice was tidying her stuff

"can I talk to you about your husband past a little bit ?" Sasha sat on the bed. Alice smiled and nodded before sat next to her sister in law

"I am not sure if you know it. He had a crush when he was in high school. That girl was my best friend" Sasha paused to see Alice reaction then contuined whe she was sure it was fine to continue

"She was actually two years above me. She intentionally approached me to get close to my brother. My Eldest brother was very smart, a lot of girls liked him back there. I am sure up until now he still have a lot of secret admire" Alice was agreed, she noticed it as well since the first time she arrived there.

"That woman was a fox, she took advantage from him to help her in her study but had another boyfriend. Once My brother found put about it, he never paid any attention to her. I hate her as much as I hate Bella now. I just want to tell you that my brother loves you, ok ?" Sasha held Alice hands.

"I know. Actually, he told me briefly about his first crush before" Alice grinned.

" If one day she come and tell you funny story. You shouldn't believe her. I just found out She divorced from her useless husband and have fantasy to get back with my brother. She came on your wedding day. You know that kind of woman have a lot of trick. Do you understand what I mean ?"

Alice was amazed, she felt that she was over protected by this family. No wonder Sean made that comment on her wedding.

"I know. Don't worry about me. Just warn your brother" Alice made a joke.

"He knew already. We didn't want you to miss understand him. ok ?"

"Thank you"

"Honey, Mum and dad wish to talk with us" Nick intrupted the ladies conversation.

Nick took Alice to their parents room downstair Where their parents were waiting. As soon as Alice sat down on the bed next to Mrs Feng, Mr Feng gave alice a red envelope. Alice was stunnes when She found out what was inside. It was a bank cheque for $100,000.

" Mum, what is this for ?"

" It's your betrothal gift. It is part of the custom. Take it and use it well" Mr Feng smiled.

"Dear, We are not rich. we can not give much. I hope it can help you to start your new life,new luck. Use it as your start up capital for your fashion career. You need it to buy all the material. We are confident this is your stepping stone in this industry"

"But mum, it's too much" Alice was reluctant to accept it.

"It is not much. Don't worry we already prepare for all our kids betrothal gift and dowry proportinally. When you have earned alot, don't forget to organised holiday for us once a year so we can enjoy our life. Is it ok ?" Mrs Feng was actually joking, She grinned as she patted her daughter in law head.

"we really don't need it. I still have some saving. it's better you to keep it for your retirement" Alice gave the cheque back to Mrs Feng.

"We have our own investment for our retirement. Don't worry about us. Your mum has planned everything long time ago" Mr Feng were proud of his wife.

" Take it. It's our duty as your parents" Mrs Feng handed the cheque back to Alice.

" Thank you Mum" Alice hugged Mrs Feng then Mr Feng " Thank you Dad".

"Dad, how do you manage to move our stuff and bed upstair ? Why don' you wait for me to come back first ? I hope you didn't hurt your back" Nick was unhappy when he found out their room upstair was ready. He was really concerned about his father safety since he was not young anymore.

"I didn't do much. Your uncle helped abit as well. But, Hans did the most" Mr Feng grinned

"Hans ?" Alice and Nick asked at the same time.

" He come nearly every day. on Weekend he was here the whole day. He did most of the hard job with Sean" Mrs Feng explained.

Nick twiched as he doubted Sean had intention to help Hans. He was sure that Sean were mostlikey only to supervise Hans.

"Mum. I think you need to prepare dowry soon after my betrothal gift" Alice clapped her mouth as she realised what she said.

"I'm sure if I'll allow Sasha with him. Eventhough our family and his are close, but we are so much different" Mrs Feng inhaled a deep breath.

"Mum, I hope you and Dad give them a fair chance. I am sure Jung family doesn't think that way. If they are fine, then you should accept their relationship" Nick spoke up for his best friend and his sister future

"lets see what happen. They haven't said anything about their relationship" Mrs Feng didn't want to continue about the topic anymore "Alice, please call Mrs Yamaguchi. I want to thank her personally for the sweet and tea".
