Amateur detective part 1

When Alice recited Xin xin last will from her heart, She didn't have any emotion. However, once she was on his embraced, his cuddle warmed and heal her heart and his broad chest made feel save, her tears just flew by it self. She could not hold it, She cried. She truely didn't understand why. why humaliation, coldness and rejected didn't make her cry but love and affection did. Was it because she used to with all the bad thing ? or was it because those bad thing were not significant for her ?.

She didn't cry for long time. But, she didn't want to leave his embraced because she was addicted with his warm gentle protection. Nick didn't resist either, he kept her in his embraced. He loved the fact that he could make her fell safe with him.

They just stand there hiding from the rest of the world while cuddling each other until they heard funny sound.

Not once but twice, those funny sound came from Alice stomach. little dragons on her stomach were growling. They laughed.

"Honey, lets have something to eat. Just a quick meal is fine. Then we can go back to our hotel and cuddling again as long as you want" Nick said sofly on her ear.

Alice sneaked out from Nick embrace "Lets go then.." then she giggled.

They went out from their hiding place walked to the bus stop.

"Do you know where to go ?" Alice didn't familiar with this city even she was born and spent her first 19 years there.

"goggle map know" Nick opened Google map application on his phone.

Din.. din..Sound of car horn heard as a fancy luxury car stopped in front of them. Both of them stared, tthenhe front passager window was lowered. They narrowed their eyes before they spotted the Rocky Ed Ming "Bro, sister in law get in". They looked at each other before entering the car, Nick took the front seat while Alice was at the back

"are you in hurry ?"

"No. every thing has been done. We are free, We just need to be back dinner time"

"But I am hungry" Alice rubbed her belly.

"I told you we'll have lunch together. I could not find you, where did you go after you left the building ?

Anyway, it will take a while. Just have some snack first, there are on the plastic bag"

Alice took plastik bag next to her, there were few sweet bread inside. She took one and pass3d the rest to Nick.

About an hour later, they arrived on their destination. It was outskirt of the city.

Ed parker his car on the local council carpark then leaded the way.

Alicewas so exited , the street full of small shop which sold different food, art crafts, clothes. She stopped frequently to see them. Nick and Ed were chatting happily, they didn't realised she left behind. Nick frowned as looking for

"lets have lunch first "Nick held her hand.

they went to a small restaurant.

"You are here" an old lady came and greeted them. They looked very familiar with Ed. The lady let them sit on a table that had been reserved for them and food was served in no time.

" when I spotted you two I called them and placed order. I know you need to replenish your energy after what happen today".

They enjoyed the meal, it was really delicious. Alice was already full but not the man. So she stopped and had an urge to go to restroom "Ed, you know where the restroom is ".

"mm.. walk all they way there the turn right. the ladies was on the left"

"Thank you Ed".

"Darling, I go there first ok ?"

Alice went to the restroom without waiting for nick approval, he would not reject it anyway. Once Alice went far enough, Ed started a conversation.

"Bro, I am sorry I cut you interogation before"

"Did you hear everything? "

"when I arrived there, you and those three jerks glared at each other then the woman came"

"you heard all important things then.

I actually thanked you. I really didn't know how to stop that woman"

"what ? I though you still want to continue "

"I already had a clue, but to find the prove it's hard. It has been years"

Ed could see Alice was back. he turned his head slightly, nick got his signal and stop talking. Ed had an idea to send Alice away "Sister in law, do you want to have a look around here?"

"yes please"

Ed walked toward the counter and talk with the old lady, then back on his seat. Not long after a young girl who was at same age as Cacha came.

"Sien come, go with this big sister. Show her around his area" Ed instructed the girl.

The girl complied with Ed order "Hi big sister. I am Sien. lets go"

Alice glanced at Nick seeking for approval.

Nick patted her head "Go, I am waiting here with Ed". She kissed Nick cheek and went with Sie.

After Alice and Sie left, they resumed their conversation.

"So, what happen back there ?".

Nick took a gulp of water "Do you remember the photo the woman mention ?"

Ed recalled his memory from this late morning "sister in law pictures that she claimed inappropriate one ?"

Nick nodded "2 years ago. someone sent those photos to her dad. Her dad was angry, she was disowned by him"

"what ?"

"mm .. at that time, she looked for me to help her clear the issue. I saved her on the day one of the picture taken.

But only one picture was hers. not the rest"

"You mean all was edited ?"

"I am 1000% sure. Most of them taken from the xxx website. we are both men, I am sure you know it when you see those"

Ed cocked his head "Do you think that woman did it?".

"not only her.. I suspected another person involved"
