1 Prologue

In a dark and seemingly ancient hallway, with ancient paintings and murals depicting Gods and monsters embedded into the walls, 4 people can be seen. A humanoid rabbit who has a mischievous smile as if he is planning something, a peerless beauty with enchanting red eyes, and a short man with gray hair, and finally, a boy with black hair, blue eyes, and an extremely faint crown hovering on his head holding onto what looked like a stone staff. The first 3 had an expression of surprise as if the boy's arrival was unexpected, while the latter had an expression of caution and worry.

"Another irregular in the same day? How interesting..." The rabbit spoke in a language that the boy couldn't seem to understand due to the expression on his face.

The boy in question had no choice but to try and figure out the situation that he was in. He had forgotten who he was, any memories he had before he got here, except for small parts of a story he had once read long ago and that the staff that he held was important to him.

"Give him a pocket! He can't understand you!" The woman yelled at the short man. The short man was in a flabbergasted state as he rubbled through his backpack looking for the 'pocket' in question. He finally pulled out a grey ball that seemed to levitate and brought it close to the boy.

The boy didn't know what the ball was so he positioned his staff in case of an attack in order to defend himself. His grip somewhat seemed natural and he had a sense of familiarity. It was the first familiar feeling since he came into this unknown place.

The short man understood his intentions so he let the ball hover over itself while the lady was yelling at him to just take it. The boy was hesitant but finally gave in and reached his hand towards the ball. The moment his fingertip touched the ball the ball released a sort of energy and went inside the boy, then reappearing next to him.

"Hello can you understand us now? By the way, I am Evan Edrok, a High Ranker and a Guide." The man asked with a smile while the other 2 were looking at him expecting an answer.

"Yes. What was that ball?" The boy asked while still gripping onto his staff.

"That is called a pocket. The pocket is a translator that can translate all languages into Mexes, the tower's language." He replied.

"Ah. Ok. Where am I?" The boy asked.

Immediately, the rabbit responded, "You are in the Tower. Wealth, Beauty, Power, whatever you want, you can get it at the top of the tower. You can even become a God."

'That sounds very familiar' the boy thought to himself.

"Why am I here? Do you know who I am?" The boy asked cautiously

"You are here because you opened the gates to the tower by yourself. Normally, people are born in the tower, they are known as regulars, but since you came from outside of the tower, you are known as an irregular, but you will find more about that in the future. And as for who you are, I do not know, but I believe you can find it at the top of the Tower." The rabbit said flashing his sharp teeth.

"How do I go to the top of the Tower then?" the boy asked with a glimmer of hope.

"Naturally, it isn't so easy, in order to climb to the top you will need to pass a test each floor, starting with this one." The rabbit responded.

"Alright then. How do I take the test." The boy asked.

"Do you see that ball over there? All you need to do is break the ball and you will pass the test. But do keep in mind that there is a very hungry monster known as the White Steel Eel guarding it." As the rabbit pointed to the slithering eel that seemed to be guarding the black ball.

The boy, noticing the eel, did not have a trace of fear, only cautious of the unknown, believed that if he needed to break that ball in order to find out who he truly is, he will do all he can to do so. As he made his way to the steel cage that was keeping the eel inside the cage gripping his staff that he had a sense of familiarity with, he was stopped by a hand.

"Boy, if you go in there you will surely die. Headon, why don't you lower the test requirements a bit." The woman asked.

Headon, the rabbit, snickered as he said "Princess Yuri Jahad, surely you won't try to help another irregular on their test. They are irregulars for a reason you know?"

Yuri Jahad frowned and looked at the boy who looked around 17 at most and found nothing special about him besides his staff and look suddenly remembered the previous boy who she met just minutes before and closely saw that this boy looked stronger than he seemed because she could see muscles through his clothes. "It'd be a waste if you'd die but..."

The boy interrupted her, and confidently spoke, "I will not die, because, I do not lose." For some reason, the boy, although not having any memories of his past, believed in that statement with utmost confidence.

The boy entered the cage and felt an unfamiliar source of energy coursing through his body but before he could figure anything out, the eel charged at him with haste, opening it's large mouth and engulfing his entire body.

Yuri Jahad, and Evan Edrok, knew that the only way to pass the test was to enter the mouth of the creature and injure it from the inside just like the previous boy did. In this scenario though, the current boy did not have Yuri Jahad's 'Black March of the 13 Month Series' so they believed it was over for him.

Inside the mouth, a voice could be heard on the inside.

"Yeoui."

"Expand."
