Headon's Floor

Geo's POV

When I opened my eyes I noticed that I wasn't at the God's space anymore. As I observe my surroundings, I noticed that I'm inside a dimly lit room.

"Arrg.... where am I?" I rubbed my temples trying to lessen the pain.

When I looked up, I saw a beautiful show of pinkish light streaming down like snow, illuminating the surroundings.

Inside the room I could see an alien like bunny wearing what seems like a blue suite of a kind, holding a staff with two orb like ends.

It's kind of creepy how he keeps on observing me like I'm some kind of interesting species that's rarely seen or nearly extinct.

"Huh oh~ It's been a while since there's been a visitor like you here." And lo~ it spoke, why am I not surprised. you can literally just see sarcasm flow like Niagara falls.

I acted like I was startled and stood up. I readied my self holding a knife, the same knife that was besides me when I woke up. Then I tried my best impression on how to warily ask him. "W-who?"

While he was twirling his staff the creature spoke to me with a calm voice with a hint of amusement that oddly enough reminds me of God.

'hhmm.... maybe that's why I feel like I need to be on guard'

"I won't hurt you. It's been a while since a visitor has opened the gate by himself... Welcome to the tower Mr. Young Boy"

He then catched his staff and did a little bow. Then he introduced himself. "My name is Headon. I'm the guardian of the first floor of the tower. What's your name Mr. Young Boy?"

'I have to admit that was kind of cool. Maybe I should try that.

hmmm...should I tell him my real name? or should I just give him a fake name... let's just give him a fake name. After all, only an idiot would scream their name to an unknown person. Who knows, he might be an enemy.'

Continuing my act as a lost boy I introduced myself with a tone of nervousness. 'Hmph, I've acted all my school days and still managed to make people think that I'm an average kid. This is as easy as pie' "My name... is Bam Mr. Headon sir."

He looked at me and tilted his head to the side and narrowed his eye. "Mr. Young Boy, I am asking for your real name. And don't lie because I would know."

'how the heck did he know that I was lying!?' I was sweating bullets behind my back trying my best not to show any sign of being shaken.

I took a deep breath and relaxed my nerves. Then I started straight into his eyes and properly introduced myself with poise and grace befitting of my genius self.

With a slight bow as a sign of courtesy I started my introduction "Good day to you my good sir. I am called Geoffrey, Geoffrey Rainbach. The name Geoffrey means "pledge of peace".

'Heh, be amazed creepy bunny. If you think I'll get played with your little intimedating play then you should have met me first before I met with that sour loser of a God!'

Headon looked at me and said "I can see that you're not lying this time" then he held hi fingers at his chin and said "What a difficult name to call. Well then, I'll call you Geo, boy."

I nodded my head signifying that I understand his reasoning. 'The hell! you dare bastarize my name!?..... but you have to admit, it kind of make sense'

Seeing as I gave him the approval to call me as such, he continued his inquiry. "So Mr.Geo, Boy. How did you end up here?" he asked me with a voice full of curiosity.

Knowing that I couldn't lie to him, I started telling him some half-truths. "Well I don't know sir. One moment I was talking with an old man then the next thing I know I was loosing my consciousness. Then I woke up here and I saw you. Do you know how I got here?"

Headon put his left hand under his right arm while holding his staff. Then he striped a thinking pose and mysteriously said "Well if it's an answer you want then.."

He stopped mid sentence and pointed his staff upwards "All answers are up there. That's all I can tell you."

I stared up above and saw the beautiful light that looked like the galaxy. Then I heard him continue so I shifted my focus back to him.

"If you want to find your answer, then head up. Weather your looking for: Wealth, Immortality, Absolute Power, Magical Abilities or Mysteries, just head up."

Then he smiled at me "All the truth, glory and happiness of the world are all up there. The tower is, such a place."

Looking at that smile made me shiver. 'Man, he really is creepy.'

Then he turned around and placed his staff behind them. Then I saw a huge blue eyes appearing in front of Headon. Then he turned his head side ways, enough for me to see his left eye.

"But remember that it is a hard and painful journey to embark on. Mr. Young Boy"

I looked at him with eyes radiating full of confidence. "I will take the risk, for my dreams, I would do anything just to achieve it."

Headon walked up front and said "Excellent. I like your will." then he turned his body and looked at me.

"Then let's do a test to see, if you are qualified to go up the tower."

"Test? what test?" I asked him in a bewildered way but inside I was panicking with my thoughts. 'Is this going to be a written test? cuz' seriously, I have no idea about anything in this tower.'

Headon held his staff horizontally and said "In this tower, everytime you go up a floor, there is a test to see if you are qualified to go to the next level. If you pass the test, then you can proceed to the next level."

"Tests are decided by the administrators and rulers of each floor. Of course, the difficulty varies depending on which floor you are on."

Headon slightly tilted his head downwards and continued "In other words, if you Mr.Geo wants to go up to the next floor, then you need to pass my test."

Headon swing his staff with his left hand "Watch this, this is the test of the first floor"

He tapped the wall with the round orb at the end of his staff. As the orb glowed, the wall

started to disappear and show a gate.

Inside the gate there lies the source of the huge blue eyes. An eel like creature with wings was floating inside. With it's size and red highlights, it makes up for an intimedating image.

'Wow that's a huge eel.' I thought while nodding my head.

Then I heard Headon say something about a ball. I wasn't clear on what he was saying so I asked him "What was that again? I couldn't catch what you were saying"

So clarify he did. "This is the test, it's called "Ball". As the name suggest, you simply have to go around the white armored eel and pop the ball then you win. You get to move on to the next floor. So what do you think, easy right?"

I stared at him scrutinizing his every word and move. Then an I idea hit me like a ton of bricks.

'Wait! isn't this like how the God's would test the people they deem as worthy?'

I looked at the armored eel and saw that behind it is the ball. 'If I remember correctly, God said that those who took the test head on are the ones who pass while those who avoids it fails. So if my guess is right then...'

After making up my mind, I stared running towards the gate determined to pass the test. As I was near the entrance I heard a yell coming from above me.

When I looked up I saw a black spot then the next thing I know I was sprawling in the floor. When I looked up I saw a tall woman with raven hair wearing a white uniform like blazer with red skirt.

I placed my hands in my chest and I could feel my heart beating rapidly like it never did before. Then I stared at her mesmerizing Ruby eyes. 'God, I think I'm in love.'
