' How is this man still alive?' I asked myself as I looked at the man on the ground breathing barely conscious.
I looked at the little girl is still worried about her... brother? Father? I didn't know who he is to her, but it seemed they're close.
But still, I wondered what they faced for him to have those mind of injuries. Maybe it was a ranker, but it's currently someone strong.
I created a camp to rest and help the man rest. I closed to process what just happened. The man fell with the girl in his arms, bleeding half to death.
But that man that just fell in front of me was someone I couldn't understand him. It's a blur.
And the little girl, I wondered if she's from the nine tailed clan.
' If so, then what's she doing here on the lowest floor?' I thought as I had a lot of questions.

" Your friend is dead. " I announced to Bam as he froze in place before walking out of the training room, leaving him there.
I wondered if this would help in motivating him. Killing him wasn't a difficult task despite his monstrous talent.
" We have other Slayer candidates." I muttered before walking down the hallway.

I stared at the empty space, seeing my health bar filling up. I felt relieved to be alive. And scared. I couldn't believe it, for once in my life, I was scared of death, but it also brought excitement in my heart.
There is also another skill from adaptability.

" Thank you." I thanked the red-haired man who silently nodded. I sighed and continued rest on the floor.
I didn't get to receive my rewards before or during the fight, I guess it's the perfect time to receive them.

I realized I couldn't bring them out now, so I had to wait again.
I sighed and sat up despite Yui's concern. I looked at the red-haired man who was lighting the area with his floating ball.
He put out the fire as he stood up and put on his backpack.
" Hold on, you're a guide, aren't you?" I asked.
The man nodded.
" Then, could you help us in going the 12th floor?" I stood up with the help of Yui.
He nodded before walking down the path.
" Come on, Yui." I spoke as we followed the guide.
Hours passed as my body managed to heal all hidden injuries, and I'm able to walk fine now.
" Wow! What are you?" Yui muttered, I noticed the red head glanced at me as well in curiosity.
" Just different is all." I replied as we continued walking down the path.
A few hours later, we arrived at the 12th floor.
' It's cold...' I thought as i looked at Yui using her tail to warm herself up.
" Here, wear this." I gave my jacket to Yui, who wore it, but it seemed to be a little big.
I chuckled and looked at the red-haired man who put on a jacket.
" You seemed to know your way around. Do you want to join us in climbing the tower?" I asked.
The man looked at the ground for a few seconds before nodding.
" The names Ashborn. And this is Yui."
" Seung-Woo." He whispered.
I nodded as we all entered the 12th floor.
" First, let's find a place to stay and get cleaned up." I said as I looked Seung-woo who would lead us around.
We found a cozy hotel to where I could change my bloody clothes and finally accept my rewards.

' So... basically a human bomb.' I thought before looking at the other rewards.
A Summoning Contract. I didn't know what it'll summon, but I was curious, so I opened the scroll.
I blinked as I found myself in space, the stars glittering in the distance as I looked around floating across space.
' What in the...?'
" So, a new contractor." I heard a deep voice that shook the stars and space as I turned my head to see a large eye.
" A contract is a contract." He spoke as he closed his eyes, and I found myself back at the hotel room.
I felt goosebumps over my body as i tried to process what just happened.
" That was cool...." I muttered as i looked around the scroll to see my name on it.
I continued to look at the scroll if it had instructions on Summoning.

In the scroll, it said the proficiency of the summoner and mana are important as they determine what dragon I could summon until my mana runs out.
I looked around my room to realize it's too small to summon a dragon.
I rolled up the scroll and put it in my spatial bag before looking at the weaponnticket before tearing it on my greatsword.

I went to the last reward.

[ +15% persuasion ]
It's a silver ring which I put on my right index finger.
' This will help in persuading others in the future.' I thought as I started to make plans forbyhe future.
We couldn't take the short path to the 13th floor since it's infested with white steel eels. And the administrator's test is in two moths after resting the other regulars.
' Looks like I'll have to train for the time being and maybe convince the red head to join the team, having a guide is important in climbing the tower.'
