Ch. 15 Classes Pt. 2

( Zero Pov )

" Welcome to the stage, For those of you in the Fisherman Class!"

I looked up to see the instructor in the sky sitting on some floating object.

" Today, we will take a simple test instead of having a lecture."

' A test?' I observed the surroundings filled with white pillars.

" The aim of the test is to be the last one standing. Do you get it? Starting now, jump from pillar to pillar and make the others fall until only eight of you remain on the pillars. "

" The only weapon you can use is the needle that I gave you, and the rest result of this test will have a big impact on your results."

" So, any questions?"

I looked at the needle in my hand.

' This is too light...'

I saw Androssi raising her hand in the corner of my eye.

" I've got a question! People could die if they fell from this height. Is there any protection?" She asked.

" There is, but it's not perfect." Hex replied.

" If you fall, there's a high chance that you'll become so injured that you won't be able to take the next class. In other words, if you fail this test, it's almost the same as failing the class. "

" That's asy to grasp! Then let's start the test."

She cleared her throat.

" Ready, go!"

' Tsk, I can't make that jump without using telekinesis, which isn't allowed.' I thought as I measured the distance between the pillars.

' It's best I stay and only attack when someone attacks. I should conserve my energy in case Androssri or Anaak attacks.'

' It's best to stay and defend this pillar and observe other fights.'

I observed the others until my eyes landed on Anaak, who jumped on the pillar across Androssi.

' Now... this is going to be interesting.' I soley put my focus on the two girls.

Anaak striked first, but Androssi dodged her attack, I didn't know what they were talking about. But it seems Anaak is targeting her specifically.

' Jahad... is that why?'I asked myself before remembering that symbol on Androssi's hair.

' If I remember correctly... didn't that woman from the first floor have one too?' I was able to instantly recall the image in my head.

' Are they perhaps from the same family?'

But I ignored those thoight as I returned my focus on the two girls.

Androssi tossed her needle behind, which confused me before seeing it stop mid-air.

' Telekinesis? No. It's something else.'

In a split second, they immediately rushed to each other and started fighting. Amd without the sharingan, I can't see their movements.

Androssi walked behind a random regular who tried to attack her but missed and was punched by Anaak, who then tried to kick Androssi.

And another regular falling victim in their fight.

' She's using Anaak to take the regulars out. She's either lazy or smart on conserving her energy, which isn't much of a difference.

Androssi grabbed the man's arm like she was showing him how to use it to attack Anaack.

I was tempted to use sharingan to copy those lessons, so instead, I tried to memorize them.

It seems Anaak was angered by her antics.

' She's not taking that fight seriously. Just how strong is she?'

And another victim, but instead of fooling around with him, she kicked him off.

I could hear him screaming as he fell.

Now, there were only ten people left.

They both stopped, but soon, Anaak tossed her needle before lowering her stance.

' Shinsu? She's using shinsu to strengthen her body.' I concluded.

She was fast to the point that I didn't even see her move, but I saw Androssi flipping through the air.

Annak landed on the other pillar before dashing towards Androssi again, making it across the pillar again.

In the blink of an eye, Anaak was thrown to the pillar before Androssi landed on the ground.

She didn't move from the ground as she stayed there.

They landed close to my pillar, but I had a hard time making out their voices.

I sighed and gave up on getting any information and instead sat down and dangled my feet over the edge.

After anfew seconds of talking, anaak got to her feet before attacking Androssi with killing intent.

' That's a strong intent... what did Androssi do to receive that much?'

I noticed Anaak focusing her attacks on Amdrossi's shoes.

Which proved to be effective as her heels broke.

Anaak rushed towards Androssi and.... pushed her.

' She... pushed her?' I blinked my eyes as I felt the killing intent on Anaak disappear.

Androssi grabbed Anaak's arm.

" Aaaahhhhh!!" Androssi started screaming as Androssi slapped her arm.

" Ze....Zero! Help!" Androssi shouted across the pillar.

I held my hands up.

" I can't even jump across."

" Sigh." I shook my head as I saw Androssi falling before grabbing Anaaks leg, taking her with her.

" Welp, the test is over. I pass." I got up and dusted my legs.

" Shut up!!" The two girls shouted from below.

' They heard me?' I looked below to see them clutching their injuries.

The test was over. And I got to see a return to my room.

( Androssi Pov )

I'm starving.

' I feel like I'm going crazy because of this hunger... I haven't had anything since yesterday... but my legs are in this state... and I've got almost no points because I ruined the test...'

' People will laugh when they find out that the princess of Jahad failed an examination floor... I can't fail this. Damn. Come to think of it, all this is because of that lizard. Damn lizard, die, lizard. '

' If I can't bear this hungar anymore, I will fry that lizard and eat her. Damn it... if I knew this would happen. I would've learned how to fill my stomach with the shinsu...'

I turned my head towards the door, hoping someone would arrive with food.

' Oh... I wish someone would open that door and bring me some food... I know this is crazy but who knows? Maybe a poor guy fell in love with me and used his points to buy me something to eat...'

' OK, miracle... happen!'

Nothing.

' Now!... Now!... Now!... Now!'

Knock knock!

" Androssi... I got you some food."

I stood up, surprised.

( Zero Pov )

" Ph! Thou sinful woman!" I heard Androssi shouting from her room.

" What's she on about?" I muttered.

I was about to enter the room, but Bam happened to show up.

We both had food plates in our hands.

I gave him a blank stare as Bam started o become nervous.

" Uhm... Zero... what brings you here?" He asked.

I looked to see him with the friend ship paper list from the samurai guy and rope.

" Did Khun put you up to this?" I asked.

Bam became more nervous as I stared at him.

" Sigh. Give me the paper. I'll get her to sign."

" Eh? Really?" He asked.

I nodded.

" Uhm, can I enter too?" He asked.

" Sure." I replied.

We both entered as I saw Androssi in bed waiting for food.

I put the tray on a nearby nightstand.

I crouched next to her bed and held up the paper.

" I won't give you the food unless you sign this." I asked.

" You... Hmph!" She turned her head away.

" Sigh, looks like she's a tough one. Bam! The rope." I held my hand out to receive the roo from Bam and tied it with the food as a lever.

" Hold it. If she tried to reach for it, pull it." I instructed.

Bam nodded and grabbed the rope from my hand.

" Of you're able to sign this paper. Not only would you get one. But two trays of food." I said as I put the nightstand across the room.

" Did you think a meal would trick me just because I'm hungry? Don't look down on the princess of...Jahad!!!" She shouted as she tried to grab the food but failed as Bam pulled the rope.

Bam lowered the rope once she leaned back.

" Haha! im stretching. I've been in bed the whole... time!!" She tried again.

I could see the frustration on her face as she looked at me and Bam.

" Hmm. Let me try." I said as I grabbed the rope from Bam.

During this exchange, Androssi tried to grab the food but failed as i pulled it.

" I'll kill you! " She shouted.

' This is...fun...' I thought as I looked down at her.
