5 Getting back in shape

Back in the shack.

'now that that's done, I need to get back in shape. these old bones wouldn't even last a year trying to train the brat' after doing some warm-ups he picked up a spirit jade and clenched it hard as if trying to break it.

moments later the spirit jade's brightness dimmed a lot as if somethings being sucked out of it. 'hooh~ that's refreshing, after all of these years nothing can top this feeling!' after emptying the jade he broke it to pieces by his grip.

Right after that he went outside to practice some kicks and punches, the surroundings have turned

chaotic as even some trees in the distance have been broken down into nothing by the power of Hua.

"Humph, not bad for some old rusty bones. but not good enough, I need more!" he shouted as he took another spirit jade and consumed the spirit energy inside it.

The sun was already out while he was still practising his movements but you couldn't even see a single sweat on his forehead as this was only light-work for someone that was used to long hours of pure training. "hooo...that's enough for today, I already consumed 3 spirit jades and need to save some for later. you never know what happens I guess" he went inside the shack to see if little Fang is awake.

His eyes were open and was about to start crying but before he could do that Fu Hua already picked him up and rushed him to the lake nearby to start bathing him and for Little Fang to do his daily business as usual.

Finished with the morning bath he cleaned him up and put him on the table and started feeding him the baby food Miss Mei gave him "Ugh! this tastes horrible! how do babies eat this garbage?" he looked in disgust as he put the baby food into Fang's mouth and after seeing Little Fang's smile he got even more confused.

Babies are some freak's I swear..

After feeding Little Fang he picked him up to visit the village and Miss Mei to pick up the scrolls, as he knows she works very fast and chances are high that she has already returned from her trip to the town.

10 minutes later

Going into her shop he hears a gasp and after that he feels that Little Fang is out of his arms as he sees an old lady picking him up and giving him lots of kisses on his little cheek. bewildered he was about to act but he noticed that it's Miss Mei's mother that was the culprit of this baby snatching act.

"Mother! that's so rude! be more gentle to the baby!" he hears Miss Mei's panicked voice as she is trying to scold her mother while the person being scolded is acting like they are not hearing anything.

Fua just gave a chuckle at this scene as he didn't mind this old lady giving Little Fang some affection. "So Miss Mei..what about my scrolls?" he asked while scratching his non-existing beard.

"Oh yeah! sorry for the wait Old magi, my mother is a bit of a baby lover as she only had one child and that one being poor me, I still blame her for making me this big!" she gave the old lady a last look before going to a box and pulling out two scrolls and giving them to Hua.

"Here you go Old magi, i traded your Beast Transformation Technique and Godly something something fist to some old friend of mine and he gave me these 2 scrolls. Honestly who names this stuff? some eight-year old?"

Fu Hua could hear her last whispers clearly but he paid it no heed as he picked them up and gave Miss Mei some silver and tried to pick up Little Fang but the old lady wasn't budging in the least! 'what a tough fellow eh' but after some back and forth he managed to snatch it back.

He thanked Miss Mei and the old lady before going out of the shop.

After that he went to sit under a nearby tree and let Little Fang roam near him while he read the scrolls.

'Before you read this technique you have to be aware of the consequences-' before he could even finish the first line he already fell asleep, Fu Hua might be immortal but he is still an old fogie.

Little fang was just observing him while he was asleep but he woke up not long after, after realising what happened he shook his head "time doesn't favour anyone as I have learned this the hard way"

He quickly went back to reading the scroll and after finishing it his eyebrows were twitching a little bit as he thought 'It's just some philosophical mumbo-jumbo and some useless advice, when do these idiots realise that it doesn't mean anything.' he sighed but after taking a second look at the scroll he just shook his head ' I guess there's no way around it, It still is a pretty good technique for a beginner'

He gave Little Fang a look before making up his mind 'I'll just have to manage, there's nothing I haven't dominated in my way'
