Torn between two lovers & The Streets

It was a hot summer day in my little city called Panama city. I was minding my business walking from school heading to the corner store to buy a smoke. I heard a familiar voice calling my name. It's my brother Mike yelling my name. I looked but didn't pay him no mind at first. Then I look again because this dumb ass pigeon yelled my government name out.

Hey yo Maya what are your plans for today? Nothing, just chilling with my girlfriend's tonight. Why what's up bro? Oh nothing, just trying to see if you wanted to match one tonight. Nawl bro I'm hanging with the girls tonight we 're drinking tonight. Oh ok sis I will hit you up later then. Alright. I went on my merry way minding my own business. My brother has always been one to match one with me.

He is not my real brother but he was in my life to teach me the ins and outs of life. But I knew tonight I had to get right. I had to make sure my pockets were right before I met up with my girls. So I had to find a way to make some quick money.  I called up one of my good old friends who I knew. I was excited to see my friend because I haven't seen him in a minute unless I needed some coins.

He is one I know I can get anything out of without having to explain myself to him. I went scrolling looking for his number until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around just to see who it was in behold. It was a friend of mine that went ghost since elementary school.

It was my ace boon coon Tay baby.  Her real name is Teyonna White she has been my baby since school. She always was by my side doing crazy shit in school. We were never separated in school or even out of school. We were two peas in a pod until her mother moved away. But they end up coming back to town in I saw her one time before she left for doing some dumb shit as her mother told me. I was very happy to see her face when I turned around. I say she really made my day by seeing her face.

Hey girl, where have you been? I was locked up for a minute because I got caught stealing. Damn yo what the hell you were stealing for when you got it made. Girl I made a mistake but I learned my lesson. How have yo ass been bitch it's been a long time. I've been going to school and chilling with some girl friends. We parted ways and went to where we were going. But best believe I called her because I knew the streets were where you could find her. When I walked to my bus I called her up before I left to go home. Man it was so nice seeing you. You still look the same after all these years. You are fine to me even though I don't like women like that. I know you love some men. But I know you got that itch to know what it's like to be with a girl.

I will be seeing you soon.  You, the only person who knows me, I hung up and started laughing because baby if only you knew what I was thinking. But best believe I have a plan up my sleeve for her. I was thinking to myself like damn we are about to hit these streets heavy like the old days. I knew from there we were about to hit the streets to make them ours. The good old days are back and in effect baby.
