27 Way Back: Good News☺️

Ally's Pov

I'm Ally Nicolm, 24 years of old. I was about to enroll this year but we lack of money. Until one day, Father Simon was looking for me, Mom said when I came from finding a job. Then I ask her of what is.

"He didn't tell me the reason of why he's looking for you" Mom said before I head to my room.

"Alright and I'll be the one to head there" while I'm bowing to Mom.

"How's your finding a job?" Mom ask before I open the door to my bedroom.

"They said they will call me within this week" then I open the door to my bedroom.

"When you will ask Father Simon?" Mom ask again as I'm about to close the door.

"Maybe later after lunch, and where is Dad?" While Mom heading to the garden.

"He went to the market" Mom said as she back to the kitchen to cook.

Then I close the door of my bedroom to change clothes from outdoor wear to daily wear.

[knuckk, knuckk]

"Ally, come out now and take a look lunch" Mom said after she knock.

"Yes Mom" as I've done change clothes and about to wear slippers.

[ziinn, ziinn]sound type of door that opens

That must be Dad who arrive. And I step out.

"Oh!! You already here, Son" Dad said while he's heading to the kitchen after I step out of my bedroom.

"Unpack that later honey, and take lunch first" Mom said as she done setting the table and dishes.

"Alright" Dad agreed when he about to unpack the food ingredients he bought from the market and heads to the chair beside Mom.

"I'll help you Dad later before I head to Father" as I sit where in-front of Dad.

"Thanks Son, and why you will go there?" Dad ask while he's scooping a big spoon of rice.

"Father Simon went here awhile ago and he's looking for him" Mom answers as she get the pitcher of honey juice behind her glass.

"And why?" Dad ask again because he's curious.

"He didn't tell the reasons of why he's looking to him" Mom answers too again while she's pouring down the juice to her glass.

"Maybe it's a good news for you, Son" Dad said as he give his glass to Mom to pour his glass too of juice.

"If it's good news then, I'm excited to hear of what that is" before I eat last spoon of pumpkin soup.

"If that is good news, how about the company you applied for, call you and got you in!?" Mom said which makes me confuse after.

"We'll know that later after we found out the reason from Father of why he's looking to him" Dad said and he's right.

"Dad's right, Mom" as I pouring the juice to my glass and drink after.

"Alright" Mom said as we 3 stand up from sitting on.

"Did you see Marky?" Mom ask while she's fixing and setting the dishes to wash.

Marky is my older brother and he has his own family now same as older sister Queenie who has also a family of her own, they both live different place but older brother Marky live to the city. As older sister Queenie live next to our hometown where her husband's hometown. We're 4 siblings and Marky was the 1st, then Queenie who's the 2nd, and I'm the 3rd and the last was Grey. Grey was same as me that still studies but the difference are, Grey was still on high school.

Back to the present..

"No" Dad answer as we unpacking the food ingredients he bought from the market.

"Thanks Son, for helping me here and you may go now to Father" Dad said when we almost done unpacking.

"Alright and your welcome Dad" then I stand from kneeling. And I left after then head to the church.

At the church...⛪️

As I'm entering the church, I feel the calmness to my heart where it must be nervous. And while Father was talking to an old man from a far, I sit first in the middle long chair and pray a bit.

Later by, Father came to me and sit beside.

"Good afternoon Father" after I sign of the cross as end of praying.

"How's your finding a job?" Father ask before I could ask him of why he's looking for me.

"Its good and one of the company's I applied told me that one of this week they will call me or text me if I hired or not" but I'm confuse deep inside if I will hold to hope.

"I see and your confuse if you're holding to hope" Father said like he reads what's on my mind.

"In the first place, yes Father and why your looking for me!?" will I still hold that hope?!

"Don't hold if your not sure to it and the reason why I'm looking for you is, I pick you to be my assistant and I guarantee you of an every month allowances and a scholarship of where you want to enroll and make sure to keep up a good grades" Father said where my heart was now in happiness.

"Where you will get the money and the sponsors?" As I curious.

"We have a foundation and a program about save uneducated youth and I pick you to join here" Father said and there I feel the grateful.

"That's nice Father and I'm thankful because you picked me so thank you Father and I won't let you regret for choosing me" and the answer to my prayer is answered.

"Then we will leave tomorrow and I'm sorry if it's sudden to tell you this" Father said before I stand up from sitting and in shock.

"It's alright Father, but what time? And where will we go?" I think my parents will be shock too when I tell them this.

"At 7am and we'll head to *******, and I'll tell you tomorrow the reason of why we will go there" Father said and I'm confuse of why tomorrow he will tell and not now.

"So see you tomorrow" Father followed up said as I stand up now.

"See you tomorrow, Father and thank you again" before I left and head back home.

At the house...

"I'm home" as I enter our house.

"Oh!! Grey your early, you don't have class now!? Where's Mom and Dad?" where I'm heading to my bedroom and he's watching tv.

"At the shop and our teachers have meeting this afternoon" Grey said before I open the door to my bedroom.

At my bedroom..

After I step in, I put right down the luggage and pack some clothes to bring.

While I'm still packing of some clothes, I heard the voices of Mom and Dad.

"Is your brother Ally, came back home now?" Mom ask Grey as I'm fixing the shoes in the luggage.

"Yes Mom and he's just arrive a while ago" Grey answer where I'm done packing the clothes and shoes.

"He's on his bedroom" Grey adds as I set aside the luggage beside the cabinet and step out of room.

"What did Father tell you?" Mom ask soon as I close the door.

"He pick me to be his assistant and join to their foundation where it has scholarship and an every month allowance" and I head to them in the kitchen and sit.

"But where will he get a money?" Dad ask while he's making a crab sushi.

"They have a program and there they get the money that's what Father said and tomorrow we will leave" and Mom stopped from making chili ice cream.

"That's sudden" Mom said and I expected it.

"Did you already packed in your clothes?" Dad said as he continues making a crab sushi for maybe our dinner.

"Just done Dad" until Grey move the chair beside me and sit after.

"Where you will go, brother? And can I join there too?" Grey ask and look at me.

"I don't know and maybe the priest who can only decide about that and you can earn here too brother, by helping Mom and Dad at the shop at weekends, right Dad!?" And Dad stops or he's just done making!?

"Right and by outside selling" Dad said while he's setting the crab sushi in the big plate.

"Oh right!!" Grey said with smile on his face.

"And the profit you will get there will be your allowance every week days and for your projects as well so don't waste by going computer shop and play because we will not give you anyway" mom said and she's right, for him to learn of how to save money and how it use.

"Yes Mom" Grey said in awful face.

"You think we didn't know of what you're doing after and before your class in the afternoon" Mom said as she pointed Grey while I'm setting the table and the dishes.
